Association Chairman, Zimos!

They rushed to the Jalec magic academy to attend the opening ceremony of the tournament.

The ceremony was very lively which was watched by many people from inside or outside the Jalec kingdom.

“Participants and spectators alike, welcome to the Jalec kingdom, especially in this academy” the principal of the Jalec academy uttered a word of greeting to all those who attended the opening ceremony.

Behind him, sat the king from the Jalec kingdom who was present to watch this tournament in person.

Then, an old man who looks important in this tournament, takes over the loudspeaker to announce something.

“As you know, as the chairman of the world academy association, I will proudly remind you that 3 times in a row the Jalec royal magic academy won this annual tournament”, said the old man who turned out to be the chairman of the world academy association.

“Then, based on the rules of the association, kingdom and academy Jalec has been granted the privilege to determine the type of tournament to be held at this time”.

“Hah? So, he means he wants this tournament not to be the same as before?”

“Yang is right..! Why suddenly announce like this?”

“No shame.!”

Most participants from the various academies immediately sneered at the announcement from the world academy's association's chairman named Zimos.

“Jalec Academy has determined the type of tournament to be held, and I purposely did not tell you the kind of tournament that would be held this time to see how many knights from each academy were ready in this kind of unexpected fight.!” zimos.

The headmaster of the Jalec academy again walked forward to announce the type of tournament.

“Tournament of the year, will be held in the forest of death..! Each team will enter after a break of 10 minutes each, then fight each other to survive in the forest with a time limit of 3 days” said Zimos.

“Yang is right..! You want to get us all killed? Do you know what creatures are in that forest of death?”

“Can you guarantee the safety of our lives?”

Some of the participants shouted protests with decisions taken unilaterally by the association.

“Temple, I have considered the safety of all participants by using this tool” Zimos took a tool in the form of a wristband with a display of numbers from his pocket.

“Although still in the trial stage, but, this tool can detect the vital signs of its users accurately..! If the number contained in this tool falls below 3, the user will be immediately teleported back to the Jalec” academy explained Zimos while wearing the tool on his wrist.

“Then, anyone who returns will automatically lose” Zimos continued with his sneaky smile.

Not a few of the participants refused with the tournament held this time because they thought it was too dangerous.l, moreover, they did not want to risk their lives to a tool that was still in the trial stage.

With most of the participants whose strength was still at level 2 and 3, it was only natural that they rejected it.

“Ehem, I still haven't finished explaining.!” zimos.

All the participants who had wanted to leave the Jalec academy area, turned around and waited for what the careless association chairman would say.

“For anyone who has registered, if they withdraw from the tournament, then, they will not be able to participate in any tournament forever..! And I bet you all know what that means, ‘kan?” Zimos laughed out loud after delivering the message.

There was a deep sense of displeasure and resentment from the faces of all the participants who rejected the tournament this time around.

But, even so they can not do anything because with the rules that have been written for a long time, anyone who has registered their academy to participate in the tournament every year, the association will continue to extend the permission to keep opening academies throughout the kingdom.

If it broke that rule, the association would order to destroy the academy without anyone being able to stand in its way because, the power that the association possessed was far above average.

Even if the entire academy in this world were to unite, it would not be able to bring down the association.
