Chapter 4

Today Hendry came home early because his parents will visit home later in the afternoon. Upon entering the house, the man finds his daughter and Bella playing in the living room. Bella seduces Ale by tickling both of her chubby cheeks, the adorable baby giggling amusedly.

Hendry stayed still and noticed the beautiful scenery in front of him. It has been 5 months that he can see a happy laugh on his daughter's face, of course since the presence of Bella.

Never before did Ale look so happy like that. Even with Julia, Ale never looked so happy. Hendry had no idea why Julia could not get her own daughter's heart. Unlike Bella who immediately got Ale's heart on the first day of being her caregiver.

"Geez, why are your cheeks so full of flesh and so adorable." Bella was still tickling Ape's cheeks in a fit of anxiety. Ale's parents' bad treatment doesn't make Bella hate her poor niece. Bella felt sorry for Ale. While Ale-aged babies out there are getting great love and attention from the woman who gave birth to him, Ale is instead ignored like Julia never expected.

Bella doesn't know it's actually like that. Ale's presence is a compulsion for Julia. The woman was forced to conceive and give birth to Ale to maintain her position as Mrs Hendry.

Seeing Ale and Bella's interaction, Hendry couldn't bear to approach them. He did not hesitate to sit on the floor even though the carpet was expensive.

Bella smiled as Hendry suddenly joined in.

"Look, there's Daddy Ale." Excited Bella while facing Ale on Hendry.

"Di, Di," Chirrup Ale called out to his Daddy with a big smile and spread out his hands to ask in a cradle. Hendry shook his head, he did not dare to carry Ale if it ran out all day outside the house. Hendry was concerned he was carrying a virus or bacteria that could harm Ale's health.

"You need a sling.? Hold on, Daddy take a shower." He stood up from his seat.

"Mas Hendry is home.? It's not that it's just a clock now," Bella said as she glanced at the wall clock at a glance.

"Four 3pm." Further.

Hendry did not usually come home early, unless there were urgent circumstances involving Ale or Julia.

"Mama and Papa are back from Singapore, they want to come see Ale." Answer Hendry.

Although it is more than half a century, both parents Hendry still hobby vacation abroad to reduce his property that may not run out 7 derivatives.

"really.? What time are they home.?" Ask Bella enthusiastically. A happy hue emanated from Bella's face and eyes.

So far both of Hendry's parents have always been kind to Bella. Although Bella's status is only a step-sister of their daughter-in-law, they consider Bella as their own child.

So after 2 weeks of not meeting them, Bella was enthusiastic when she found out that they were coming home.

"Maybe 1 hour." Hendry replied as he looked at the watch in his hand.

"I'll go upstairs first." Hendry then went to his room.

Arriving in the room, Hendry approached his wife who was busy applying makeup in front of a mirror. Her clothes were also with a dress on her knees.

Julia is always beautifying herself to welcome the return of Hendry. Julia thinks Hendry will love her more if she sees Julia look beautiful when her husband comes home from work. So the woman would spend a lot of time beautifying herself before Hendry got home.

Julia smiled broadly at Hendry from the reflection of the mirror. She put the lipstick in her place because it was done making up. The woman immediately stood up and put her hands around Hendry's neck.

Julia brought her face closer to her lips. Hendry replied to Julia's lip at a glance and immediately released her. Disappointment on Julia's face. Hendry realized that, but he did not intend to continue the paging of their lips. Because there is something important that Hendry must tell his wife.

"Rather than spending a lot of time dressing up like this, you better accompany Ale to play. Don't let him forget who Mommy is." Hendry. Instead of praising the appearance of his wife who deliberately dressed up to welcome him home, Hendry instead advised Julia to spend time playing with Aleshia.

Julia's face suddenly glum. Instead of getting praise after beautifying himself for almost 1 hour, Hendry even discussed other things.

"Why talk like that, baby.? I look beautiful to you too. All day you work in an office, you must be tired. At least by looking at me neat and pretty, your tiredness can be a little less." Julia Sahut.

The thought of pleasing her husband when she came home from work was right, but Julia seemed to forget that she also had other responsibilities, not only always thinking of ways to beautify herself and please her husband. There was Ale who still desperately needed the attention and affection from Julia.

"I'd much rather see you playing with Ale. She needs you, Julia.!" Resolute Hendry. His tone had already begun to rise. Lately, Hendry has had trouble controlling his emotions whenever he talks about Ale with Julia. Hendry seemed to have run out of ways to wake Julia up to her responsibilities as a mother.

"There was Bella who took care of him and invited him to play. If I had to intervene too, I'd be free to pay, "Julia was suddenly silent because she was almost lost in front of Hendry. During this time Hendry did not know Bella was forced by Julia to babysit Ale.

Hendry only knew that Bella herself wanted to babysit Ale while waiting for a work call abroad.

"Don't rely too much on Bella, she's just helping us keep Ale. You alone would be hard if Ale got used to the presence of Bella.!" Strictly Hendry then passed to the bathroom. He had better end the debate than not being able to control his emotions and end up spouting harsh words at Julia..

"Sucks." Grumpy Julia sewot.

Both of Hendry's parents have been coming since 30 minutes ago. Currently they are playing with Ale in the family room, including Bella who also joined there because it has been considered her own child by Hendry's parents.

Of all the people gathered there, only Julia's face looked unhappy. Julia did not like Bella to get good treatment from her in-laws. Moreover, Julia felt that her mother-in-law was closer to Bella than her own daughter-in-law.

"There's still no word from the company in France.?" Ask Farah to Bella.

The beautiful woman shook her head.

"Not Mah. Maybe the company doesn't need a new designer yet." He answered with a faint smile to cover up his lies. Bella couldn't possibly be honest with others if she actually threatened to work for Ale.
