Slaughterer God -
Chapter 1 Born In Another World
Shi Yan woke up in shock. His head was throbbing in pain.
As soon as he recovered a little, he looked around and found himself in a dim rock cave that was as big as a basketball court. Piles of bones were strewn everywhere and a dozen corpses in strange clothes were lying beside him. The clothes look new and bright. These people have died recently.
“Where Am I? Is this still the Bahamas? ”
Shi Yan, 27, is an extreme sports fanatic. His mother died early, while his father died of cancer at the peak of his life. This left him with a huge amount of wealth that he could never use in a lifetime.
He had many things from an early age, which others would pursue in their entire lives.
Despite being young and rich, he had no future goals, which made him unhappy for a long time.
It was only at the age of 17 that he got his first taste of extreme sports, which gave him unspeakable excitement. Given his great wealth, he can do this sport as much as he likes, while ordinary people will not be able to afford this.
Classic extreme sports, such as rock climbing, crocodile bungees, low skydiving, volcanic skateboarding, cliff diving, and limbo skating, gave Shi Yan the greatest pleasure. He enjoyed the refreshing sensation of death and made his blood boil.
In ten years, he had tried all sorts of dangerous extreme sports that had built Shi Yan's extraordinarily powerful body. Hundreds of near-death experiences made his nerves as hard as steel. He once joked that he was the one closest to the Grim Reaper.
Blue hole exploration in the Bahamas is the most dangerous extreme sport he has ever participated in. Some of these blue holes were hundreds of meters deep, while some were complex like labyrinths. What's more, each small movement can stir the sand at the bottom of the cave. No matter how bright your light is, you will not be able to see anything in front of you.
Even if you are an experienced diver, you should wear steel wire before you jump into the blue hole. Steel wire is a rescue path, the length of which determines the distance the explorer can travel. Moving beyond that distance is tantamount to suicide, as no one can get out of that labyrinth without steel wire. According to statistics from the Bahamas Maritime Institute, there have been an average of 20 cave-diving-related deaths in the blue hole, most of which have died from loss of direction.
In this most dangerous extreme adventure, Shi Yan dumps his life; steel wire, enters a suicidal adventure, and eventually loses himself in a mysterious blue hole.
And in a blue hole, getting lost would mean death.
–
Shi Yan lay collapsed on the icy stone ground, looking at his surroundings with the help of the dim light coming from the cave wall. In his mind appeared some memory fragments that did not belong to him.
This was another Shi Yan memory …
The boy was 17 years old, and had the same name as himself. Interested in antiques, the boy was obsessed with all kinds of historical relics; and because of the ancient map, he fought for half a year and finally arrived here with his guards.
Feeling weak all over, Shi Yan frowned and slowly raised himself.
Just then, to his surprise, Shi Yan noticed that this body did not belong to him, but the body of another Shi Yan who was only 17 years old.
He was stunned for a moment.
“Did I die in a blue hole? Nay! I'm still alive, but in an unbelievable way! ”
According to another recollection of Shi Yan, this place was called Grace Mainland, where there was no science or technology. There is no army or war.
Many of the residents here displayed mysterious abilities not long after they were born. Some had the power of lightning, some could control plants, some could tunnel into the earth, some could use the coldness of the snow, and some were able to communicate with demonic beasts …
People with these various abilities would all be warriors, and their abilities were referred to as Martial Spirits.
Martial Spirit was something that was born from birth, and only a few could obtain spirits through a bit of luck. That was why this land was named Grace Mainland, because the warriors believed that Martial Spirit was a gift from God.
The majority of warriors were not blessed with Martial Spirits. An ordinary person could train hard to become a warrior, but there was no way to obtain a Martial Spirit through training. Martial Spirits were so powerful that they could benefit from training warriors, increasing their combat potential significantly and giving them their own special abilities …
As a result, among warriors of the same level, those with Martial Spirits tended to be stronger, and achieve greater results. They do half the work by doubling the results.
There was a higher possibility where one inherited a Martial Spirit.
In general, if one of the parents has a spirit, there is a high chance that their child will inherit the same spirit. If both parents have a spirit, their child will have a greater chance of inheriting one of their spirits, either from the father or the mother.
What is rarer is the situation where the child inherits both spirits from his parents. This type of inherent Martial Spirit was called Twin Spirit, and the type of lucky people who possessed it was also known as ‘Children of Dewa’! It only happened to one in ten thousand couples who had different Spirits.
Shi Yan stood there and continued to organize foreign memories.
The original owner of this body came from the Shi Family. They had a Petrified Martial Spirit that could make the body as hard as a rock in battle, preventing damage to the body. As the warrior said increased their cultivation, the Petrification Martial Spirit would become even stronger, to the point where they were almost indestructible.
Unfortunately, this person did not inherit the Petrification Martial Spirit, and thus was considered a poor successor to the martial arts trained by the Shi Family. He also showed no interest in martial arts, and never learned anything about them. All he devoted was the exploration of historical remains.
Thanks to that ancient map, he had crawled through many heavy bushes and suffered greatly to arrive at this ancient cave.
“Wu wu wu …. Hu hu hu's…. ”
Suddenly a demon-like cry came from inside the cave. Shocked, Shi Yan looked around to find a pool of blood in the direction the sound was coming from.
The blood pool, measuring about 10 square meters, was located in the middle of the cave, filled with a red liquid that looked like blood. It bubbled on the surface and let out horrible shrieks and howls as bubbles appeared.
He realized that his bodyguards were driven mad by howls, and they started killing each other. They all died in succession, while 17-year-old Shi Yan fainted.
It was all because of the pool of blood!
Shi Yan stared at the blood pond with a stiff face. The howl slowly aroused the desire to kill within him, and made him want to kill anyone around him!
His head was still aching and the howls from the blood pool never stopped tormenting him, which made it difficult to concentrate.
“... Must be a collection of blood!”
Countless near-death experiences had strengthened his mind and Shi Yan managed to calm down. Even though his head was still aching, he was able to stay focused, and walk towards the blood pool.
“Cracked, cracked, cracked!”
Shi Yan looked dignified, while a gray shin shattered beneath his feet. Judging from the pile of bones in the cave, he could only guess how many people had previously died in this place. The pool is the source of this evil. If he wanted to check the secret of the pool of blood, he would have to prepare for death.
The roar grew louder as he got closer to the pool of blood, which flowed into his head like a sharp knife. The sound of slaughter contained within the howl almost destroyed his reason. He wouldn't have been able to endure this pain if it weren't for the extreme conditioning he'd been exposed to over the years that slowly shaped his spirit.
The bone pile was located beside the blood pond; some milky white bones were also floating in the middle of the pond. This small blood pool was like a sea of Shura blood, which had cost many lives.
Shi Yan had a feeling that his soul was summoned here because of this strange pool of blood. He thought maybe this pool of blood was his ticket back to the blue hole in the Bahamas.
As he got closer to the blood pool, Shi Yan suddenly discovered something strange. The blood in the middle of the pond was deep red and thick, but he could not detect the slightest smell of blood.
Instead, the surrounding air was extremely fresh, even filled with an inexplicable scent. After careful inspection, he made sure that the exotic scent was actually coming from a pool of blood!
Shi Yan was filled with curiosity, and thought that there must be something strange in the blood pond.
Again, he took a few steps forward. Suddenly, an endless sea illusion, filled with red-red blood entered his mind. Countless corpses were accumulated to form the island. Some of the bones are like bones of cretaceous period dinosaurs and are as big as a small hill. There was a voice coming out from the sea of blood, repeatedly shouting, “Kill! Kill it! Kill it! Kill it! Kill!”
Shi Yan tried to remain calm, but he could not. His heart started beating faster. The suffocating and terrifying pressure gripped him. He felt a familiar touch knowing that he had never been this close to death before.
He knew that the next step would likely mean death!
However, that gloomy adventure over the years did not scare him, but instead gave him the utmost pleasure! Being face to face with death and surviving all the dangers is the true definition of extreme sports!
Step by step, one by one!
Under the call of the pool of blood, Shi Yan finally rose to the edge. He stared at the small blood pool; the crazy side of his character had been triggered. He roared, “Let's see what you have to offer, a small pool of blood!”
Then he jumped into the pool.
