The engagement event in the title is very luxurious but closed. Only the recipient can enter. Alex passes if the invitees bring their partners from only one person.

Before Kai arrived at the location, Alan first reviewed the location. Not polite at all. But what else if it is a security standard that must be done.

Alex did not mind at all when Alan checked every corner of the house including the back and maid rooms. As long as Kai wants to come, anything Alex would agree to.

"Hows it? Find anything dangerous?" Alan smiled, spreading his gaze around. Seen some catering employees arrange the dish for the guests who began to arrive.

"It's errand. Sorry if it's not polite."

"Have your master ever been polite to me?"

"Sever been." Alex smiles as memories of Kai's past demeanor. He's a skinny, timid boy who also sucks. But his attitude was very polite and spoke soft words.

"How did you change his gentle demeanor to be so stiff?"

"Anything can change if the heart has been hurt. Em well, I have to report." Alan showed his phone and walked out of the party area.

While Kai sat back and looked at Nay who was getting ready. His facial expression looked flat while occasionally exhaling a heavy breath. Although Alan had reported on the security at Alex's residence, Kai was still worried about Nay and his future son.

"Not to overdo it." Kai moved out of his place and took the makeup from Nay's hand.

"Just blushing Mas' cheek." Kai did not budge. She closed the make up box until it sounded. Taps! That voice Nay took as a warning.

"Whatever you hear and see later, remember. All of that is just part of their charade." Nay nodded with a smile. The warning has been issued several times." Don't talk about our relationship." Nay took a deep breath and stood up.

"I still remember Mas. I'm acting as a secretary, not a wife." Ketus.

"To take care of you. Why does your answer sound so soft." Sindir Kai slowly. Alex's engagement is enough to cause a difference of understanding especially Nay's heart is now sensitive.

"I'm your secretary, right?!" Kai glanced lazily while squeezing his thick hair.

"Just a charade."

"I remember. No need to repeat."

"Yes okay." Answer Kai slowly. He walked over to Nay and hugged her body. Nay's head was slanted to lean on his shoulders and Kai's right hand stroked his long hair. Events like this make things difficult. We should be able to stay home and spend time together. Interacting with a lot of people is so sickening.

"We're too late." Nay reminded me.

"Promise not to be offended. I recognize you as a secretary for being forced to. Better they don't know than they'll disturb your composure."

"How many times does it have to be? I remember it."

That's because your attitude looks weird. You get irritable and often make me panic.

Kai kissed Nay's forehead for a moment and walked her out of the room. Both of them went down the stairs and saw a car waiting in front of the main door complete with the driver.

Short time, upon arrival at the location. The party frenzy can make Kai uncomfortable even though he is still sitting in the car.

Alan steers Kai's car into a special parking lot that Alex deliberately prepares. Unlike other guests, Kai's car was allowed into his private garage.

"This party is too fancy for the old widow." Kai muttered as he just got out of the car.

"That's not what I mean."

"Clearly how? Widows are a fact! You married her."

"Yes sorry. I was wrong to speak."

"Learn not to talk carelessly."

Events like this are the thing that Kai fears the most. Often Nay offended and angry makes Kai think if it is better to be at home.

"Well, let's go home if you're angry." Take it while hoping in your heart. It's possible that Nay will and it will be good luck for him.

"What time does it start?" Kai asked as he spread his gaze around. Why would Alex just invite them?

The view in front of him looked a little strange. Alex should have invited the owners of the company instead of his accomplices.

"Seven o'clock exactly sir."

"Hm." Kai sat down and still spread his gaze. Hope the show starts soon so he doesn't stay there too long. Something's not right.

Jessy and Alex enter the party area. Both of them stood on the small stage that was there. Alex had waved for a moment at Nay before finally throwing sweet words to Jessy as if the two loved each other.

Guests cheered and had fun. Simultaneously, the servants appeared simultaneously. In his hand was a tray containing red syrup. It looks tempting especially the smell of syrup smelled when placed.

"Please." The friendly servant said. Kai looked at the glass that looked the same.

"Wait." Prevent Kai when Nay will gulp the syrup.

"Why Mas?" Of course Nay asked why.

"There may be poison in it." Nay took a long breath. He felt Kai was thinking too much negatively especially after seeing the guests enjoying the scented syrup.

"Everyone drinks it. After the exchange of rings, we give gifts and then go home." Nay will drink the syrup but Kai grabs it and throws it away.

"i'm serious. Don't drink."

"Throw your bad thoughts away a little."

"You always don't believe what I say." It felt like Kai was tired of having to argue with the same topic. Though he tried to obey Nay's request to come to the event that he thought sickening.

"You just need to soften your attitude."

"believe me."

"I'll prove that the syrup isn't poisonous." Nay attempts to snatch Kai's syrup but is quickly evaded.

"Let me." Kai took a sip of syrup in one breath." Where might I be willing to make you and our future son a guinea pig. Ask the waiter if I'll be okay." Put down an empty glass.

"A lot of hypocrites. But not everything is so."

"Swaring is the only way to be safe." Kai's head began to feel heavy with nausea in the stomach.

"The wrong guess would offend someone."

"What do I care."

Kai's lungs were claustrophobic with a yellowed look. Nay's talk can't even be heard anymore. Only the mouth movements were faintly visible.

"Mas. You why?" Nay panics when Kai's face is covered in sweat. Right at the moment of exchanging rings, the invited guests who drank his syrup immediately collapsed unconscious. His mouth filled with foam even some of them until convulsions.
