The Debate of Dara and Grandma Jasmine

Everyone's gaze was fixed on the direction of the entrance when Dara entered the banquet hall with elegant footsteps. They are absolutely fascinated and do not believe that there is a rich family who has a beautiful daughter. Because everyone knew that the Darmawan and Arianto families would not be able to invite ordinary people to attend their parties.

"Who is he? I don't think I've ever seen it"

"Yes, I saw him for the first time too"

"Is there a rich family who just moved here?"

"It doesn't seem to exist"

"Then, who's this girl?"

"Come"

As everyone was confused and stunned at Dara's beauty, Nasya realized that everyone was staring in admiration at the cousin she hated the most.

Her. I thought she wouldn't dare to attend even though I said that grandma invited her directly.

Thought Nasya who was looking at Dara with a cynical look

Lucky's gaze was fixed on Dara, but soon he turned to Nasya again

"Dear, what's wrong with you? Are you not feeling well?" asked Lucky who was worried to see the look on Nasya's face that was different from usual

"I'm not a papa" Nasha replied with a smile on her lips

"You sure? Don't push yourself too much. We can rest first if you want. The show is still very long" said Lucky who spoke softly and attentively.

"I'm really not papa. You don't need to worry" Nasya calmed Lucky down while gently rubbing her hand

"alright. If you feel uncomfortable, just tell me"

"Ehm" Nasha nodded her head with a smile in response to Lucky then she turned her head back to look for Dara's whereabouts.

Seen at this time Dara is approaching the grandmother, Melati

"I don't think you'll ever set foot in this house again? It turns out that you still have courage" Melati said with a cynical attitude and a sneering smile as she walked away from the people who had previously talked to her and walked towards one of the empty rooms.

Noey who entered shortly after Dara entered straight back out and told Kenzie

"Zie, Dara's inside. I don't know what she's got to do with this family, but I saw her following Madame Melati into one of the empty rooms in the house" Noey said in a panic

"Become inside?!" asked Kenzie with a surprised face. Noey simply nodded his head in response to Kenzie

"Let's go in!" Kenzie and Noey walked in.

"Sir Kenzie?"

"Isn't that Kenzie from Kusuma's company?"

Everyone stared in surprise at the two of them, but Kenzie and Noey ignored him and continued walking towards the room where Dara and Melati's grandmother were talking. Just as Kenzie was about to push the door, he paused his intention and silently listened.

"Didn't Grandma invite me? It is impolite for me to refuse an invitation from the family elder who invited in person" Dara was silent for a moment giving a pause on her speech

"Our company is in need of a lot of funds to be able to work with larger companies in order to grow even faster"

Dara frowned listening to the grandmother's words

"Then, what does this have to do with me? Didn't I have anything to do with this family anymore? And the company too, didn't grandma herself say that I didn't have the slightest right to the company? Why is Grandma saying now that it's our company?". Dara asked with a slight smile on her lips

"It's been 3 years, and your age is enough on the terms your father said. Doesn't that mean your father's insurance money and deposit money will be coming down soon?"

Dara's eyes grew sharp, slowly her tears began to flow and wet her cheeks

"So ... Grandmother invited me here just for that? Are all papa's relics still not enough? Is Grandma still going to take the last money you left me? Grandma, I'm your grandson too. Did you not see me at all? Are you so thirsty for mama and papa's treasure?".

Dara spoke with a faint smile accompanied by the roar of tears that continued to flow nonstop.

"You? My granddaughter? If it wasn't for you and your mother, I wouldn't have lost my son. If only your mother had agreed to leave my son, he would still be with me and married to the woman I had chosen for him. If it wasn't for you forcing my son to leave the house back then, then he would still be here with me. You took my son's life and now you still dare to say that you are my grandson? Are you crazy?!"  Jasmine spoke in a cold manner and her eyes filled with anger.

Dara's heart ached like slashed, her tears flowed more and more rapidly without being able to be dammed again. The makeup that had previously made her face look so beautiful, now began to fade with tears.

"So that's what Grandma thinks of me? The reason why Grandma never accepted me was because my mother came from an ordinary family and was not up to Grandma's standards, right?" Dara continued to speak on the sidelines of her sobs.

"Yes, your mother is not equal to my son. I tried repeatedly to separate them, but your mother always returned to my son and did not want to give up her status after becoming the wife of the successor of the Darmawan family. And you, after your birth, my son is getting harder and harder to separate from that mother, so you mixed blood have absolutely no rights to anything my son has" Grandma Melati spoke firmly and emotionally.

Dara lowered her head listening to every painful word that came out of her own grandmother's mouth.

"Grandma .. Mama is not that kind of person. Mom and Dad loved each other, so they didn't want to be separated from each other. And their deaths .. it was an accident, if I knew there would be an accident, then I wouldn't have asked them to leave this house back then. At that time I just .. I did not want to listen to my grandmother's insults against my mother. I just want to get away from this house so that mom doesn't get hurt by Grandma's words"

"And you succeeded. You made my son leave me forever. You also blame me for the mistakes you made".

Dara kept shaking her head trying to deny what Melati said to her.

"I'm .. I'm not like that. I didn't kill them. It's an accident!"

"If you're not like that you'd better give me all the rights to my son's last relics. Then I will no longer bother you" said grandmother Melati with confidence.

"No! You guys took everything from me. I won't give you this last money!".

Dara spoke in a cold and firm manner not to give the father his final inheritance.

"Heah ... Since there seems to be nothing more for us to talk about, then I'll excuse you first. Congratulations on your grandchild's engagement".

Dara took a deep breath while wiping her tears and returned to calm while leaving the grandmother without waiting for a response from her.

"Wait on! We're not done talking. The virgin! Back back!".

Grandma Melati shouted to Dara, but Dara ignored her and walked quickly away from the Darmawan residence.

"Dodi! Go after Dara!"

"Okay, Madam!"
