"What are you doing basic trash? Work quickly!" one of the prison guards pushed the teenager's body down and threw a shovel to mine.

For now Julian can only follow orders and do what he is told, after all he is still confused.

With staggered steps, Julian walked towards one of the quarry stones.

Grasping tightly the scope then hit the miner's rock.

Julian's entire body felt pain, but it was only a single blow to the stone, but it was as if his hand was being electrocuted by something.

Julian got a wooden punch from one of the guards, making him pioneer in pain. "Basic useless slave! Mine the stone better!"

"B-well." replied Julian in a very soft voice.

Julian continued the forced mining activity, continuing to beat him tirelessly and relentlessly.

The guard who was watching the mining activity turned his back and left.

After the departure of the guards, many of the slaves were instantly starved and exhausted, Julian was one of them.

He felt his body was very weak and very hungry. Even his stomach was rumbling.

This food was not suitable for humans but there was only this, so the slaves were forced to eat for the sake of survival and not die of hunger.

At night there was no food ration but the slaves were allowed to return to their prison cells for rest. Julian walked back to the prison cell with handcuffs in both hands and was being stalked by two guards.

The mysterious woman with black hair let out a smile and said, "I am the god in charge of your reincarnation, Julian or better I call River?"

"Reincarnation? What did you say earlier?"

"You are a reincarnated Hero, but it seems that River's memory and Julian's memory are fused into one, which is what confuses you."

"Hahaha~ you're such a funny guy, River. No better I call you Julian." The woman's face grew even more beautiful with a cheerful smile.

"What just now was a system reward from me. It would definitely be useful, and bye. I hope one day we'll meet Julian~"

"Wait on! The talks are not over yet and what is the system?"

The question is too late. The woman had disappeared slowly like darkness. There was no trace of him in his cell.

Julian sighed, thinking he was finally crazy and hallucinating.
