Shindy was crying in pain while holding onto her bleeding ear. Ivan placed the tray he was holding onto the nightstand and hurried to get Shindy's small bag earlier. Ivan wiped the blood with a tissue. Fortunately the wound in Shindy's ear was just a small puncture wound that wasn't very dangerous.
Ivan wiped the blood and cleaned it with alcohol. The pain ran all over Shindy's ears. Shindy grimaced while tightly grasping Ivan's arm.
"sorry. If it's not treated immediately, I'm afraid of infection." Ivan drops the red medicine on a cotton swab and closes it to Shindy's ear.
"Silver Van. It hurts." Shindy lamented by keeping a grip on Ivan's arm.
Ivan installed plaster to hold the cotton away.
"It's over." Ivan said
Slowly Shindy's hand weakened and released her grip.
"Sorry, I hurt you" Shindy said, staring at Ivan's arm scratched by his long fingernails.
"It's okay" said Ivan turned around to put the drugs back in place.
"You're Van's good guy. You've taken care of me, helped me many times. Why are you stuck in this kind of environment?" ask Shindy
Ivan fell silent. Empty views. For some reason, Ivan seemed to be harboring something.
"There has not been a week, I am the rightful wife of Rama. But the bad treatment kept getting me." Shindy said, shedding her tears.
"How can I survive, I might live a disability. Out with organs that are not intact because of Rama's cruelty. Or maybe, never again be able to see the outside world." Shindy said without stopping her crying.
Ivan cradled Shindy's body into his arms. Swiping that frail back plan, trying to give her peace of heart.
"Why Van, why do you want to work for people like them? You were even beaten by him. They are not Van humans." said Shindy continuously cursed Rama
"There were more painful things than the physical wounds he had inflicted. I survived for Shin's wound." said Ivan
Shindy looked at Ivan. Empty look. Ivan kept his feelings so tight. Even to just share his story with others like Shindy, he was reluctant.
"Eat, the porridge is already a bit cold" said Ivan thrust a bowl of porridge made.
"Thank you Van." said Shindy scooping the porridge voraciously. His hungry stomach could not resist the simple porridge Ivan made.
"Whatever happens to you, never despair or think about ending it. You have to fight him, even if he's your husband. If he he hurts you too much, you can repay him. Don't think about your feelings, or how they feel. But give priority to your safety and your baby." Ivan's message finally.
The tall body left Shindy's room. Shindy stared at the bowl of porridge in her hand. "You're right Van. I have to do something." Shindy's little mouth devoured the porridge.
Shindy brought the tray and the white bowl to the kitchen. The big house looks empty. Rama and Bowo are not back yet. Ivan's? I don't know where he went. Shindy washed the bowl and spoon she used to eat earlier.
It's already night, Ivan has even turned on all the lights in the house. Both of Shindy's eyes were focused on Rama's study. Shindy wanted to try to figure it out again, through the workspace. Shindy stepped slowly, while continuing to wander to make sure no one knew her plan. Shindy holds the doorknob.
Chequek.. Chequek.. Locked up. This time Rama did not forget to lock it. "Where can I get that key?"
Shindy ransacked Rama's entire desk drawer. The closet is also a small bag hanging there. But he did not find what he was looking for. Shindy was about to switch, she suddenly recalled. "Bottom pillow! It's gotta be there."
Shindy turns Rama's sleeping pillow over. Surely a bunch of keys are there. Shindy smiled happily. Shindy walked towards the door but stopped. "It's the same bottle as in Rama's apartment. Then why is there this syringe again? Don't." Shindy covered her mouth with her hands.
"Rama's on drugs." Shindy murmured
"It is fitting that he is always angry and temperamentous. He even beat me up just because of this." Shindy said putting the shot back in place.
Shindy walked out of the room and closed the door. He looked down. There was no one, Shindy heaved a sigh of relief. Shindy was about to go downstairs when she realized that the door to the very end of the room was open. Curiously Shindy also got into it. This room is not as big as Rama's room. Only single bed with bed linen neatly arranged also some clothes hanging in the closet that has not been closed. The sound of water coming from the bathroom.
"So this is Ivan's room." Shindy circled the whole room, a photo placed on the nightstand. A photo of Ivan with a cute girl with curls was hugging a picture of little Ivan.
"Who is this?" Shindy took the photo and turned it over. *My beloved sister, Metha Palevi*
"It turns out, Ivan has an older sister. Is this what forced him to work with Rama? She needs money for her brother?" shindy Muttered.
I heard the bathroom door open. Shindy put back the photo and ran out. His small steps rushed down the stairs. This time, the room he was referring to was Rama's office.
Shindy tried one by one the keys she held. It took a long time because it had not found the right key to open it. Shindy almost tried the whole key. And Open..
Shindy pressed the light switch behind the door. The room looked bright. Shindy walked in. There's a laptop on, it contains someone's cell phone intercepts. With the email open, Shindy tried to read the contents of the message and check them one by one.
[Give me 20 grams. I already have a new subscription.]
"20 grams? What'sthis?" shindy asked as she scroll the message down.
"So.. I'll have to find the black suitcase to make sure."
Shindy scanned every inch of the room. Looking down at the table, the closet even the bookshelf there. His hand reached down the sideboard and pulled an object out.
"Black suitcase. I finally met." Shindy opened the suitcase.
"So all this time Rama's a dealer. This much stuff." Pekik Shindy was so aware of the contents in the suitcase.
"Why didn't I realize it? I should have known, she couldn't have suddenly been that rich. Moreover, both of his parents are dead. If I had known from the beginning." Shindy cried for her fate
"You know by now, what are you going to do girl b*doh!"
Both of Shindy's eyes widened, Rama, the man she had just talked about was now standing with his mouth against the door.
"Ram... Ramah."
A knife was held tightly in Rama's hand. Shindy crawled backwards away from Rama. Slowly but surely the distance between them is getting eroded. Shindy can't run. Behind him was only a closet, he was sitting on the floor with a pitiful pleading gaze. Rama swung his knife.
"Yetoooooooo."
