He thought that Near was just someone who wanted to tease him. Kanna gets more scared and tries to let go of Near's hand in her arms. Kanna had trouble releasing Near's hand at first, but miraculously Kanna was able to finally let go of Near's hand back then. Kanna immediately ran again and kept trying to run.

Suddenly.....

"Kanna....Kanna......!!!!!!!" The sound of Near's scream made him stop running for a moment.
