Chapter 1: The Rebirth

[Fire Fire]

Red flames enveloped the entire ruined imperial building. The Demon Lord with the appearance of a large body and two circular horns and carrying a large axe as his weapon, began to leave the last two humans in the empire.

"I'm sorry Edward, please forgive me for not being able to protect you or the empire!" he said while crying by holding the corpse of his best friend who was seriously injured

[Crying]

The Holy Knight's lips said something as soon as a bright light hand appeared that pierced straight into the left chest and then shattered the man's heart. His death left not a single human remaining until the flames engulfed the entirety until it was left.

However, it all seems like it never happened. A Holy Knight named Ayato is tasked with protecting the king who is his best friend as well as protecting the empire, seeing his body unharmed and seeing his body shrink like a 10-year-old child, Ayato prostrated herself in a crowd in tears.

"Thank you so much for granting this wish!" muttered 10-year-old Ayato who had returned just before the destruction of the empire that the king was her best friend

The Great Continent of Renovia was the abode of all living things but the continent was already split into five continents with the Human Race occupying the Xenonia Continent but currently the Eleanor Empire was led by the king before Edward made it a big problem so that the other three continents began to be hostile, wanting revenge even more severely the entire continent began to want to rule each other.

As a result of Ayato's weakness, King Edward was treated as a fool willing to give his back to the weakest Holy Knight. It was all natural for Ayato because she was so late in training herself to become a Holy Knight that it resulted in the Demon Lord Ganeshia coming in another 10 years with the aim of destroying the Eleanor Empire because of the Xenonia Continent it was already very weak be it the economy, power and nobility that always corruption.

Ayato still remembered the time when the Holy Knights defected against her own king by siding with Demon Lord Ganeshia so that Edward's family, his wife and son, were killed in a place that should be very safe for them but the foolish Holy Knight told the enemy. However, Demon Lord Ganeshia did not care at all about the agreement he made with the defector knights so they were all killed leaving me with the corpse of my best friend who was stiffened and very badly injured.

The flames engulfed the empire then Demon Lord Ganeshia left us when she realized that I was the only one left in the Eleanor Empire it was painful to see the empire that my best friend was holding was starting to burn because of my weakness. In the end my only hope is to return to the time when all this has not happened because I will definitely train myself to be strong in order to protect my best friend and his empire.

Ayato stopped because she came to her house which was a simple hut with wood as the building and Edward who was 10 years old the same as it seemed to be with his mother Ayato so suddenly she was determined to become more strong from the beginning trained himself to achieve the wishes of his best friend when he became a king. So, there were four things Ayato had to do which were to protect the empire, protect her best friend as well as realize her best friend's wish and make herself stronger.

"alright. The weakest Holy Knight will one day become the strongest of the others!" murmured Ayato with her strong determination
