MABA (New Student)

After I graduated from High School, I had 3 months off. I will be attending college as a freshman (MABA) in mid-September. During the holidays I filled my free time by finding a part time job to help the family economy. The money I made for approximately 3 months for me to save for urgent needs when going to college.

I don't feel like my 3-month vacation is over. Today I have to go to the Eternal Light University to get a briefing on PKKMB. I woke up when the phone alarm went off, which was 06:00. After taking a bath, changing my clothes and breakfast I immediately left for the Eternal Light University. I left home at 07:30 because today's event will start at 09:00 and all new students are required to arrive 30 minutes early.

There is a large banner that welcomes the arrival of new students/students in front of the lobby of the University of Eternal Light. I repeatedly convinced myself that what I was experiencing now was not a dream.

After going through a very long and tiring process in the end I was declared graduated and eligible to receive a scholarship at the University of Eternal Light. I am very grateful to be one of the students on this campus, even with the help of scholarships. Not everyone can go to college here. Only with people who have an upper middle and smart economy can enter the campus here.

While me? Already I, explain to the struggle to go to college that I come from a simple family. I am not from above or below. My life comes from the middle.

The mature brown girl, a mediocre freshman who was economically fit to wear a plain white shirt with long sleeves under the subordinates of a black skirt below the knees and black pantofel. I put my foot down a little. I am not afraid or ashamed. But the object below is more interesting than when I look towards the front or left right side.

The first day I went to college was very scared, very confused because I had no friends to talk to and other friends were busy with friends. I don't know a single person on campus. I only smiled when I looked at the security guard who was standing guard at the gate post. The foreign surroundings started greeting him. The atmosphere is almost the same as other campuses, only today all new students who pass by in their respective styles.

The activity before officially becoming a student is PKKMB. Audri smiled faintly seeing thousands of new students/students standing in the field with the PKKMB preparation agenda. As a freshman (MABA), Audri tried to smile. The PKKMB they will go through is a general ospek. PKKMB is only four days.

“Consideration of all new students/students, please line up according to their respective faculty.”

Audri tried to find his own faculty, he also jostled with other students to see the signboard embedded in the notice board as a medium of information.

“What faculty are you?” ask one of the PKKMB committee. Audri knew that the person who asked him was one of the PKKMB committee because of the alma mater used by that person.

“Medicine,” replied Audri as polite as possible. Audri also did not want to look for trouble on the first day. Moreover, the committee brother who asked not everything or scary.

“Medicine over there. Come hunted. Hot hunt later,” said one of the committee.

“Good brother. Thank you brother,” reply Audri.

Audri looked in the direction indicated by the committee. Audri decided to immediately gather with his faculty children.

15 Minutes of time passed, all new students/students were already in the ranks of their respective faculties. It is clear how the appearance of the people who are in each faculty.

There are several directives given by the PKKMB committee. The activity also took place with the opening of PKKMB conducted by the rector followed by a motivational agenda and several other interesting activities.

The time shows at 12:00 WIB they stop all activities, the agenda at 12:00 is ISOMA (Rest, Prayer and Eating.) Audri was confused to find a place to rest because a lot of people passed by.

Audri took advantage of ISOMA time to go to the toilet and have lunch. While waiting for the ISOMA time to be completed, Audri went around the campus to see the situation around the campus.

When ISOMA has been completed, all new students return to their respective ranks. The PKKMB committee began to provide direction for the first day of PPKMB which will be held tomorrow.

Audri wrote down what equipment is needed for PKKMB tomorrow, including:

The event continued by introducing themselves to the committees who served in this PKKMB. In front of the students/students, there are many committees that are tasked with their respective characteristics.

After the introductory session is done, it will now be read out for group distribution during the event. I, seriously listening to his name was called to know which group I was in. Each group that will be read out consists of different faculties.

“Audri Cordelia,” call the committee.

After the reading of the Edelweiss group 1 was over, I immediately became acquainted with the friends who were from the members of my group. Not to forget in the group Edelweiss 1 there are 2 organizers who will accompany.

After finishing with the reading of all the groups, then the first day of PKKMB is finished. I was waiting for Sis Desi to come to pick me up in the lobby of the Eternal Light University. Until I didn't realize there was a beautiful woman coming.

“Eh we are one group in Edelweiss 1 right?” ask the beautiful woman.

“Iya I clumped Edelweiss 1. Sorry who are you?” ask Audri.

“My name is Aretha Felicia Ardani. Commonly called with Retha,” replied Retha.

“Whose loe name?” ask Retha back.

“My name is Audri Cordelia. Commonly called Audri,” said Audri.

“Loe from where?” ask Retha.

“Gue original here kok,” replied Audri.

“If you are from where?” continue Audri while asking Retha.

“Gue from the city next door kok,” said Retha.

“Means loe donk?” ask Audri.

“Iya I snekos deket here kok,” reply Retha.

After a short conversation with Retha, Audri's sister was already outside the gates of the Eternal Light University to pick her up. Audri decides to go home and say goodbye to Retha. But before going home, Retha wants to ask for Audri's whatsapp number.

“Dri I want to ask for contact loe donk,” pinta Retha.

“My whatsapp number is 0812 xxxx xxxx,” says Audri.

“Thank you yes Dri,” replied Retha.

“By the way, I tried miscall ya Dri,” continued Retha back.

“Sama-sama Ret's. This is miscall from Loe. If I go back first. Bye-bye,” reply Audri while saying goodbye to Retha.

“Ok, Dry. Loe be careful on the road yes,” said Retha.

After giving the whatsapp number to Retha, Audri immediately headed towards the gate of the Eternal Light University to return home.
