At exactly twelve o'clock in the evening, the god returned to his house. The lights inside the house have been turned off, which looks only room lights from outside the house and the porch lights are on. The god stepped into the house and took off his shoes. Then he put his shoes into a shoe rack and replaced them with sandals.
The god stepped into the living room, then from the family room, he was about to stop into the kitchen for a drink. But he was surprised when he saw Sri who was still awake and sitting on the dining table chair. Sri seemed to be wearing pajamas. Make-up on her face was cleaned. Like women who want to go to sleep in general, but Sri actually sits waiting for the God to come home.
"Geez!" The god was aghast when he saw Sri pensively at the dining table.
"Bag.." Sapa Sri, smiling sweetly welcomed her husband's arrival.
"You haven't slept?" Ask Gods.
"I'm waiting for you to come home." Sri moved from her seat and greeted the God, and grabbed the office bag that was still in the hands of the God.
"Why is it once a night? Didn't I say I'd be home at eleven?" Ask Sri.
The gods seemed uncomfortable with Sri's question. Then he stepped towards the dispenser and took a glass of water.
"Mas tired, huh? Can I have hot water for a shower?" Ask Sri again.
"Hmmm, I can." Sahut Dewa's.
Sri nodded and hurriedly provided hot water for the Gods in their bathroom.
The god fell silent and looked at Sri's back who went to the bathroom in the main room, which was their room. Then he put his old empty glass on the dining table and he squeezed his own hair and let out a long sigh.
Guilt was clearly visible on the face of God, but as helpless as it was, he was only able to remain silent and continue to be seen wrestling with his own mind.
"Yes Allah... I'm sorry.I'm sorry.." Mumbled.
Sri who is preparing hot water for the gods can only be pensive on the edge of the bathtub. While dipping his hand into the water to feel the temperature of the water, Sri continued to think about the lies of the God that he clearly knew. But what power, Sri is a person full of caution. He continued to consider both the good and the bad before speaking. So he decided not to first discuss things that would provoke a commotion in his household.
"You must be tired. You shouldn't wait for me to come home. You will be able to sleep" said Dewa, who followed Sri to the bathroom.
Sri turned her head and looked at her husband who was throwing a dirty shirt into a dirty laundry basket. Then he got up from his seat and smiled at the God.
"I miss you mas," Sri said, hugging the God from behind.
Through the reflection of the mirror, God looked at Sri who looked so comfortable when hugging her body.
"I'm sorry yes. I think it'll be finished on time, it turns out until eleven." Bright God.
"It's okay, ma'am. Oh yeah, you've eaten? If not, I will prepare. Now, you take a shower first" Sri said with her sparkling eyes.
"Nggg. I ate. It was booked through an app and delivered to the office."
"Oh so. Yes, now take a shower. I'm getting her nightgown ready." She smiled and left the bathroom. Then he headed to the wardrobe and prepared clothes for the Gods.
As a measure of women who are wealthy and also working women, Sri is a wife who is not negligent of her duties serving her husband. But only this time Sri felt himself lacking in any aspect as a woman. He began to wonder and reflect, if only God had an affair, it was clear he was the most guilty of God's dissatisfaction over Sri who began to feel imperfect.
Sri returned to the room with a glass of ginger tea that he would give to the gods. At that moment he saw the God was already preparing to get dressed. Sri put her ginger tea on the table and then sat on the bed. While the god rushed to wear his clothes and also handed the towel used to Sri. Sri received the wet towel and looked at the God intently.
"Mas, there is a letter for you in the nightstand drawer" Sri said, pointing to the nightstand drawer, where she placed the letters addressed to the Gods.
"Oh yes, tomorrow I will read," said Dewa, while reaching for ginger tea made by Sri.
"Yes," Sahut Sri. While moving to dry wet towels former Gods.
When Sri returned to the room, she saw the god who had closed his eyes on the bed. Sri was only able to sigh deeply and also spread her body beside the God. Then she covered the Lord with a blanket and kissed her husband's forehead gently.
"It looks like you're so tired of it." Batin Sri's.
Without Sri realizing it, actually God has not slept. The gods are aware of everything Sri does to her. Kiss before going to bed, Sri's service as a wife, covers her body when she sleeps, all that Sri does even though they have been married for a long time, and that has not changed. Precisely God became unable to close his eyes, when remembering how perfect Sri as a wife.
The gods continued to regret his changes to Sri over the past few months. Until God shed his tears of regret in silence. Even with Sri who was turning her back on God, she was also unable to close her eyes. Her tears continued to melt without the gods knowing. Until the night went on in the morning, they both fell asleep.
In the morning, Sri woke up and as usual she immediately prepared all the needs of her child and husband in the morning. Although Saturday is a holiday for Ardi and the Gods. But while preparing breakfast for her son and husband, suddenly Sri saw the God who came to the kitchen with neat clothes and a suitcase in his hand.
"Where are you going?" Sri asked with a confused looking face.
"Sorry, I was suddenly sent out of town to handle the project there." Light God, while reaching for an empty glass and pouring coffee from inside a small teapot, into the glass.
Sri could only frown and stare at the God with a confused face.
"Mas out of town? How many days is it?" Ask Sri again.
"I don't know yet. I will call ya later. This is urgent" said the Lord, then he sipped his coffee.
Hearing the God's reply, Sri was just speechless and did not want to ask much. But his heart was like it was going to explode, eager to talk about leaving the city that seemed to suddenly and also the letters of credit card bills that soared. But she chose to lock her lips tightly and let go of the God just like that, when her husband said goodbye to her and also her only son.
"Bun, where's dad going? Didn't I promise Ardi that we'd have a vacation to the top?" Ardi asked, wrinkling his chin, a sign that the boy did not accept the departure of his father who served out of the City.
"Patience yes. holiday with his father we postpone next week, son. Now Ardi is just the same mother. Ayoo... Where is Ardi going on vacation? Must be mother deliver. To Dufan? To Mini Park? Or where to?" Sri tried to comfort Ardi with her face expression that was trying hard.
"Not good ah! I want the same father and mother!" Shouted Ardi, who was angry for failing the holiday.
"Ardi can't do that, son. His name's father working for us. So......"
Not yet finished Sri continued her words, Ardi also ran away from her and immediately locked herself in the room. Sri could only be speechless, the turmoil in her heart was surging even more. Until he moved his teeth and closed both eyes to dampen emotions.
"What are you doing behind my back?" Gumam Sri's.
