Chapter 35. Story of Mia (Part 2)

"Maybe the ghosts in this office need entertainment as well" Mia said shuddering. 

"But there's something more serempous than a ghost in a toilet. If it's a scary ghost, right next to Mia's office down here, there is an empty room that is always used for large meetings or seminars" said Mang Udin. 

"You mean that room is like a cafe?" ask Mia.

Udin replied with a nod of his head. 

"Kan, if not used for meetings, usually used for eating places. There is also a small kitchen, Well, there was a waiter Buto Ijo, who likes to disturb employees who say dirty in that place. There have even been several times there are employees who are possessed, because the Buto does not like the attitude of employees who like to say dirty." 

"So, there's a lot of ghosts here?" ask Mia.

"Yes clear, Ma'am. There is another, this is the story of Ms. Fifi who became the security guard downstairs.  She was known as a tough and strong female employee because she was able to work overtime continuously," said Mang Udin who liked the horror story.

"Oh, I know Ms. Fifi who said she was brave because she often stayed at the office and took night shifts, right?" ask Mia.

"Well, really, Ma'am. At that time I told Bu Fifi to be careful, because here there are ghosts who like to disturb. Uh, Miss Fifi just smiled as she kept going around."

"Continue?" ask Mia.

"Yes, I went to the security guard's room instead of me being afraid to clean the curfew downstairs. Well, he said at two o'clock in the morning, Bu Fifi started to get sleepy then tried to sleep in the UKS room. Just sitting in the ward, he suddenly felt creepy and when he turned, he saw there was one family he said his face was broken plus there was a female ghost white negligee," said Mang Udin began to shudder fearfully while looking to his right and left.

"Seriously, Mang? So how did Bu Fifi see that?" asked Mia who looked very curious. 

"He ran away angry. Keep running out of it he does not want the night shift anymore" said Mang Udin. 

"Duh, spooky too, yeah." Mia was shuddering in horror. The feathers begin to crumble. However, all of a sudden he slapped Mang Udin on the cheek.

"Ouch! How come, I got slapped, Ma'am?" tanyakanya.

"You must say that Mang Udin is human, hehehe."

"I'm obviously human, Ma'am! Duh, it hurts again slap." Mang Udin complained as he rubbed his cheeks.

"Sorry, Mang." Mia chuckles.

A co-worker named Bayu came to him. 

"Why, Yu?" ask Mia while tidying up her work files.

"Your phone is dead, huh?" ask Bayu.

"Just a minute, deh." Mia grabbed the bag and checked inside. His smart phone is there. And sure enough, the phone is in a lowbat state. He asked Bayu again.

"What's the matter, Yu?" ask Mia again.

"You haven't seen the latest news, have you?" ask Bayu.

Bayu then turned on the television screen in the room.

"TV8 News viewers, Boeing 212 aircraft with Indonesia route to London certainly crashed around the waters near the Deep Sea. The incident is reminiscent of the crash of a Boeing 313 commercial plane that crashed into the sea and became a global spotlight. The government is still pursuing search efforts even though it feels difficult to find. In fact, there have been many families of passengers who had to give up the departure of their members because the wreckage of the plane can not be found also until now. Before the crash, Pilot Zakaria radioed for a turn due to bad weather, but no mayday warning was issued. There were 162 passengers and crew on the flight who were pronounced dead" the news anchor said.

Bayu shows the name of Mia's husband, Herman Suganda. The man was on the passenger list. Mia tried to call her husband's number but was inactive. 

"How did this happen, Yu? I had lunch with Mas Herman. Last night he also came home because he said he did not leave" said Mia.

Bayu stared fixedly at his co-workers while aghast. 

"Don't joke, deh. Obviously your husband is on the passenger list, Mia. Gini aja, deh, we should go to the post to know the continuation more deeply," said Bayu.

To ensure the news of the accident and the truth about the passenger list, Bayu invited Mia to visit the Boeing 212 emergency post. Mia agreed and obeyed.

That night at a makeshift post, Mia meets her sister Herman. He was just contacted by the office where Herman worked. Yugi is asked to contact Mia to inform her about Herman's car which is still parked in the office garage.

Eventually, Mia allows Yugi to take the car. After all, Yugi turned out to have the spare key of Herman's favorite car a week ago given as if Herman wanted Yugi to take good care of him. However, the reason Herman gave the key was because he intended to change the car. 

Yugi takes Mia home to Herman's parents to perform tahlilan. Although heavy, Yugi, his younger brother Herman, decided to tell his parents that Herman could not be found alive. Moreover, there are witnesses who saw the plane explode before it fell into the waters of the Deep Sea.

Many bouquets are already present from colleagues and companies where Herman works as a condolence expression. The distance from his home and Herman's parents' house happened to be not far around two kilometers. Mia decided to go home. 

"You'd better stay here, Mia. Mom and your sister will be here too. They were on their way to the train" said the mother-in-law.

"Mia wants to take a change of clothes first, Mom, then Mia will stay here, really," he said.

"Let usher in Yugi, yes."

"Yes, ma'am, I can do that." Mia nodded.

He and his sister-in-law went to his house in a blue baleno sedan. During the trip, the two were silent. The twenty-year-old did indeed have a reserved nature and an introverted youth. It was always Mia who opened her voice first to start the conversation. However, that night Mia's heart was sad. He still wished everything was just a dream and Mas Herman was really still alive and was with him since yesterday.

"Wait here first huh, Gi. I'll get some clothes and other supplies first" Mia asked as she reached her front yard.

"Yes, Mommy." Yugi nodded and was still comfortable on the steering wheel.

The man lit a cigarette his mild when he saw the brother-in-law go inside. However, his eyes widened when he saw the shadow of a man behind the window as Mia walked in and turned on the lights. Yugi puts out his cigarette fire and gets out of the car.
