Two days later.

"Where are you going so early?" asked Duan Ling.

"I'm already uncomfortable living here" Yin Feng replied.

"Is it because of Gui Xia?"

At first, Yin Feng thought that he would gain calm in the Jade Tortoise clan, but during these two days Yin Feng had never felt calm.

The reason was Gui Xia. Gui Bei's grandson had never stopped bothering him for the past two days, so Yin Feng felt extremely uneasy.

"Alright, but we'd better see Mr. Gui first."

Yin Feng nodded, then the two went to meet Gui Bei in the main hall of the Jade Tortoise clan.

"Young man, where are you going?"

"We must return to the Light Pillar sect right now" Yin Feng replied.

"Well, if the young master wants to go take my grandson with you, I'm sure he is..."

"No need!" yin Feng said cutting off Gui Bei's words.

Gui Bei's countenance instantly changed, he naturally did not expect such an answer from Yin Feng, yet he could not possibly impose the young man's will.

As with the grandfather, Gui Xia's countenance looked bad as well and there was sadness depicted there, but he could only remain silent and endure his sadness.

"Mr Ling, let's go!"

Duan Ling simply nodded, then followed Yin Feng leaving the main hall. Upon arriving in the courtyard, Duan Ling then called out to his pet Ice Eagle.

"Yin Feng, are you serious?" duan Ling asked after they exited the remote island.

"Serious about what?"

"Your last words."

"I'm very serious, unless you reject me" Yin Feng said.

Duan Ling looked into Yin Feng's eyes, trying to look for lies in the look in his eyes, yet he found nothing and his heart was racing.

"What if I don't have this power? Are you still going to give up your heart to me?"

"The reason I chose you is not because you have that power, but because my mother chose you."

"You mean?"

Yin Feng then explained, even though his mother had died a long time ago, yet the fragments of his mother's soul still remained and were residing in his soul space.

"Alright" Duan Ling said briefly.

"Well..what?"

"I'm willing" Duan Ling replied.

"For?"

"Are you stupid or what?!"

"Haha! Sorry, I was just kidding" Yin Feng said, then grabbed onto Duan Ling's hand and grasped it tightly.

"From now on, I'll always be there for you and take care of you."

"Me too" said Duan Ling. "But I must ask my teacher's blessing first."

"You take it easy, let me ask her for her blessing."

Arriving at the sect, Duan Ling immediately went to his teacher's residence to report the success of his mission, as well as ask his teacher for his blessing.

"Ling'er, you're finally back too."

After entering his teacher's residence, Duan Ling was immediately greeted by a young man who had liked him for a long time, he was Ye Fang, the young master of the Ye clan.

Duan Ling passed by the young man and paid no heed to his greeting in the slightest, because from the very beginning he had never liked the extremely arrogant young master Ye.

"Teacher" Duan Ling said as he met his teacher.

Zhu Guang nodded softly, "Ling'er, what about the mission that teacher gave me?"

"Alright" Zhu Guang said, then set his sights on Yin Feng, "then who is this young man?"

"My name is Yin Feng, Duan Ling's future husband." Yin Feng explained who he was regardless of the existence of the Ye clan members who were visiting there.

Zhu Guang fixed his gaze on Duan Ling, and not long after he found the answer to a question he had not been able to raise.

"Yin Feng, are you serious about what you say?"

"I never joke" replied Yin Feng.

"I don't take this!" said Ye Fang.

"Zhu Guang what is the meaning of all this? Didn't we propose to your students first?"

"I know that, but I'm sorry I couldn't possibly impose my disciple's will" Zhu Guang replied.

"Can't, if I can't have it then no one can have it!"

Regardless of Zhu Guang and his family members, Ye Fang immediately shot forward and launched an attack on Yin Feng.

The explosion occurred when Ye Fang's fist hit Yin Feng's palm, and that was when the young master of the Ye family was knocked back to the ground.

"Young master!"

The other members of the Ye clan instantly stood up from their seats, they then took out the weapons from the space ring, then surrounded Yin Feng and Duan Ling.

Yin Feng raised the corner of his lips, the gaze of his eyes instantly changed and a killing aura emanated from his body, yet it was not too big because Yin Feng was holding him back.

"Stop!" zhu Guang said as he released his aura of power.

The entire room was enveloped by the extremely intimidating aura pressure, everyone was affected by his aura, but not by Yin Feng.

"Ye Ming, stop this right now!"

"Oh, so you prefer this shit to my son?!" said Ye Ming, the leader of the Ye clan.

"All I want is Ling'er's happiness, if she's happy, whoever her partner is no problem for me!"

"Alright, I hope you don't regret this decision!" ye Ming said, then left the Light Pillar sect with his clan members.

"Bright..." Zhu Guang let out a long sigh and threw his butt in the seat.

"Teacher, forgive me" Duan Ling said.

"It's okay, Ling'er. But, are you sure of this decision?"

Duan Ling nodded, "i'm very sure, teacher."

"Alright, the teacher will bless your relationship, but before that there is something the teacher wants to tell this young man."

"I already know what you want to say, but sorry I can't be a disciple of the Pillar of Light sect."

"Why?"

"Teacher, actually Yin Feng is a member of the Great Phoenix clan."

"What?!"
