OUR LITTLE BROTHER
Kevin's Longing for Both Parents

"Kevin! Wake up!" rean shouted from outside his room making the mound of blankets on a bed sway.

A white hand poked out looking for the clock lying on the shelf not far from his bed. The tiny clock in the shape of a white rabbit was brought under the blanket greeted by the sound of a long hiss.

The thick blanket that already looked like lumpia skin so tightly wrapped the body underneath it moved back slowly. Still covering his entire body with a blanket, a young man rose from his face down position and sat down to gather consciousness.

"Kevin!"

The high tone accompanied by the sound of the open door was immediately muffled when the owner of the voice saw his younger brother already sitting on the bed with messy hair and eyes still half closed.

"Wakeup. It's seven o'clock" Rean said, ruffling his sister's hair.

"Hm." Kevin nodded with his eyes not fully open.

"Hurry up or you'll be late for school, Vin." Rean again warned while closing the door to his sister's room.

Kevin yawned widely while dropping on his soft and warm mattress. Back he coiled with his iron man motif blanket and almost closed his eyes if only Rean's voice was not shrill to match the sound of firecrackers.

Finally Kevin got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

After he finished cleaning himself and dressed neatly, Kevin immediately went downstairs.

"I don't want to go to high school" whined Kevin as soon as he arrived at the dining room.

The school uniform had been neatly attached to her tiny body and the bag was in her hands. "It's cold outside" he said.

"There are people who do not want to go to school but are so neat" Radhit replied while busy smearing bread with jam.

"If Radhit's sister says 'don't go to school' I won't go to school" Kevin replied.

"really?" ask Radhit for sanctions.

Kevin nodded with a confident face.

"alright. But you have to take off that school uniform here huh."

While talking so, Radhit pulled out his phone and was ready in video record mode.

"Sister! How could you do that to me!" Kevin shouted in frustration with a spoiled tone of voice.

Radhitya laughed happily because he felt that he had succeeded in judging his little sister. The other two brothers were also no less nosy, they also laughed.

"You're a bitch, brother!" Kevin put his lips together and made his three brothers anxious.

"Eat your breakfast and go to school immediately. Brother had a meeting at the office and Rean had a meeting with someone this morning. You will be delivered by Nisa," said Radhitya gave the bread that had been smeared in front of Kevin.

Kevin glanced at Nisa and Nisa who felt glanced at by his sister he immediately nodded his head in response.

"For one week you will be picked up by Nisa. After one week, there will be a special personal driver to pick you up. Brother will not let you ride in public transportation," said Radhitya the eldest brother.

"But what about Nisa's sister. Is Nisa's sister's school schedule not interrupted? Is sister Nisa not going to get tired of going back and forth from my school to her school sister?" ask Kevin.

"really?" ask Kevin.

They nodded their heads in response.

"All right," said Kevin resigned.

"Sister Radhit," call Kevin.

"Yes," Radhitya replied.

"But Mami when will they come back? I miss them so much, brother." Kevin said with his eyes glazed over.

They looked at Kevin with a sad look. They know very well how Kevin longs for both of their parents. It has been three years that Kevin has not felt the affection and attention of his parents.

Kevin got all that from his three brothers. The three brothers were very attentive to all the needs of Kevin even they were willing to do anything for the youngest.

"Vibs. Listen brother dear. Papi and Mami are busy in America. Tapikan Papi and Mami often contact you. They're always asking for your news" Rean said.

"But that's not enough, brother Rean.

All I need is their attention, affection and embrace. Not just hearing their voices and seeing their faces during video calls. If they continue like this, do not blame me if I will leave them and forget them. Because all this time only you've always been there for me." Kevin said with tears.

Yep! Kevin immediately cried when it came to his parents.

After saying that, Kevib immediately left his three brothers for the car in the trunk.

"Sister Nisa, we're leaving now. THE HUNT!" kevin shouted from a distance.

"Sister, we're leaving!" exclaim Nisa.

"Be careful on the road" replied Radhitya and Andrean as they continued their delayed breakfast.

In School..

Kevin clasped his arms around his own body and sped his way to his class. The air this morning was colder because of the rain that fell last night. Even the sunlight is almost invisible in the sky because of the fog that darkens like a giant sign.

Upon arriving at school, Kevin was greeted by his best friend. "Good morning, Vib!" hello Hansen and Lerry.

"Hansen! Lerry! Tumben once you were in school. It's usually late" Kevin said.

"Aish! you're this, Vib!" Hansen and Lerry were upset.

Kevin just laughed "Sorry. Rarely do I see you guys coming this early. Hebaat! What dream did I have last night that these two best friends of mine didn't come late to school today?" Kevin spoke while patting his best friend's shoulders simultaneously.

Hansen and Lerry smiled as they received praise from Kevin.

"Let's go to class" Hansen asked.

"Come on," Kevin and Lerry replied together.

They set their feet with a sweet smile on their lips and headed to class.
