Chapter 96: Monster Footprints

Isander fell silent and changed the subject of the three of them. Isander did not want to make these two teenage girls sad.

Hearing the information from Reren, Isander nodded silently and pondered while looking at the large footprints in front of him that were indeed similar to primate footprints, clearly different from those of humans and other animals.

"Oh, you two from out of town are like us. It's not that you have the power of Agta, why not go into the city and live in it" Reren said with wonder and curiosity.

Isander quickly shook his head. "I'm not interested. There's a special reason why I don't want to live in the city. I can't explain it here."

They were in front of the settlement outside the city walls, some people looked at them looking curious as to what they were talking about.

"Now I want to ask you, do you want to come with me or not?" Isander offers them to go with him.

Reren and Helen looked at Isander with shocked faces, never thinking Isander would take her away from this filthy settlement.

However, in the next few seconds they both looked doubtful.

"Why are you bowing your head like that?"

"Anu, we both have no ability, we are afraid that it will trouble you if you both come along, you are afraid of being a burden to you" Reren said with a complicated face.
