Trying to Make Peace

Now came the time for the entire nuclear family of each Kingdom to gather to follow the banquet that had been prepared by the Sky Palace. They walked into the room where the banquet was while talking to each other.

When the magnificent door of the banquet hall was opened, all of them were unceasingly amazed. The magnificent and spacious banquet area really spoils the eyes.

It was actually not surprising if the Sky Palace had this kind of beauty, because the Sky Tribe was indeed a tribe rich in all resources and knowledge.

The only Palace that has almost similar ornaments to that of the Sky Palace is Laluna Palace, the Moon Tribe Palace which is famous for its building layers that emit blue light.

However, due to the established policy, and based on the agreement with Emperor Ouranos, not just anyone was allowed to come to visit the Moon Palace. The important delegates even had to seek approval from Emperor Ouranos if they wanted to visit. It was as if there was something belonging to the Moon Tribe that the outside world could not tell.

That was why the Moon Tribe was called a mysterious tribe, because they kept many secrets regarding their tribe, until the Emperor intervened to protect important information about them.

Back to the banquet atmosphere,

The Zoi, the representatives of King Athan, Empress Anastasya, and Oshun, sat at a special dining table reserved for them, which was placed quite close to the dining table where Ouranos was. The distance of their table was only about five steps, and that was enough to upset Oshun.

'Why should our table be this close?! Though I wish my table was close to Cleon!' Oshun complained in his heart. Although annoyed, Oshun only showed his flat face while looking around.

In fact, he was eager to greet his old friend Cleon, who was now the Crown Prince of the Astrological Tribe. Since they were both heirs, they were always preoccupied with the affairs of the Kingdom, so they did not have time to chat in person. "Oh yeah, I heard not too long ago that the new Zoi Kingdom raised an heir, I congratulate you Crown Princess Oshun Zoi." Ouranos said, again with his flat expression.

Because the distance between Ouranos' seat and the Zoi Tribe's seat was practically close, so his words could still be heard clearly by them.

King Athan and Empress Anastasya were certainly very happy to hear the congratulations of the Great Emperor. So they saluted the congratulations of Ouranos.

Oshun did not remain silent. I don't know what he was thinking, he slowly stood up and walked 3 steps closer towards Ouranos, until what he did was enough to attract the attention of people.

Everyone was wondering, including the god Athan and the Goddess Anastasya. Don't ask me what Alena is feeling right now. Emperor Ouranos' younger brother was now growling at the burning flames of jealousy.

Despite knowing Oshun was walking closer to him, Ouranos was indifferent. He looked straight ahead again while enjoying his wine.

Soon Oshun showed his sweet smile while bowing respectfully to Ouranos, then said, "I thank you, Emperor Ouranos the Great. I'm accepting your late congratulations."

Oshun felt proud and pleased for his victory when saying that line to Ouranos. After all, there had never been a Goddess who blatantly offended a Great Emperor.

Another case with Oshun, the God Athan and Goddess Anastasya who heard clearly the words of their daughter, was shocked to death to hold back the anxiety. They fear the events of 500 years ago are repeated, where the Zoi have to bear the shame of Oshun's behavior.

After a long time of looking down and saluting, Oshun stood up straight again while smilingly looking at Ouranos.

Ouranos just stared at Oshun's face flat, then nodded slowly. It seemed that he took Oshun's words for granted, and instead allowed Oshun to return to his seat.

Oshun, Athan and Anastasya were shocked by the reaction Ouranos gave. They thought Ouranos would be angry and offended, given the harsh and stern nature of Ouranos.

They did not expect Ouranos to let their daughter's insolent speech pass them by. But rather than that, they were actually relieved and grateful that Ouranos was willing to be generous.

Upon Oshun's return to his seat, this time Anastasya had to be startled again at the reaction Ouranos showed.

Anastasya's sharp eyes caught the unusual change in expression from the man. Ouranos who was slightly lowered his head, suddenly showed a faint smile for a few seconds.

"I think I saw it wrong." Anastasya muttered while shaking slowly.

No, of course Anastasya did not look wrong. Now Alena is witnessing the same thing. He grew angry because of what he saw.

Alena was jealous and angry that Oshun could make the cold Ouranos smile, even for a moment. The one who should be able to do that is him, and not anyone else!

'What other temptations did that woman give?!' Alena's growling in the heart.

Unable to bear with what she saw, Alena chose to leave the banquet room first.

Mantis unintentionally saw Alena's expression that was clearly furious as Alena walked past her.

Mantis was curious, so she decided to go to Ouranos and ask him. Who knows Ouranos knows the reason for the angry Goddess. Because usually what Alena does must be the ends always related to Ouranos.

When Mantis was about to walk to the table of the Zoi Tribe, a split second later Ouranos disappeared into his blue flame.

There seemed to be nothing interesting at this banquet until the man left before the event ended, that was how Oshun thought upon realizing the Emperor who was no longer in his seat.
