Malik and Mom Rania looked up at Dad William who was stepping towards them at this moment. Seeing her Daddy getting closer to her made Flower lower her gaze. She was afraid to look back at her Daddy's disappointed look as she had seen it a few months ago.
"It." Dad William handed over the bushel he brought to Mom Rania.
Mom Rania accepted it while looking at Dad William who did not take her eyes off Flower.
"Daddy..." Malik reached out his hand to Dad William and was greeted quickly by Dad William. "How's Daddy doing? Is it okay?" Ask Malik just a pleasantries.
Dad William nodded his head. "Yes, Daddy's fine as you can see right now." Answer Dad William.
Malik nodded then asked Dad William to sit down first but Dad William refused. Dad William's gaze continued to be fixed on his daughter who was still bowed staring at his food.
"Flowers." Dad William called out the name of his beloved daughter gently. Hearing the voice that had not called his name for a long time certainly made Flower's eyes teary but as much as possible Flower still lowered his gaze so that Dad William did not see his sad expression at this time.
"Didn't you miss Daddy?" William asked later and managed to make Flower raise his bowed head.
"Dh-ddy..." Flower could not stem her tears until they fell just so wet her cheeks.
Dad William also glazed over to look at his daughter's face that was now soaked by tears.
"Rise up, Mom, you know you miss your Daddy so much." Said Mom Rania softly while rubbing Flower's arm.
Malik immediately helped Flower get up from his seat. Afterwards Flower stepped towards his Daddy with tears still flowing down his cheeks.
"Daddy.. hiks..." Flower just held tightly to his Daddy's body without caring about his stomach which is now squeezed because of his actions.
Dad William also reciprocated Flower's embrace not too tight because he realized there are now grandchildren who are squeezed because of their actions. A thread of tears involuntarily fell down Dad William's cheeks because he saw the belly of Flower that had been increasingly bloated from the last they met face to face even now Dad William can feel a kick from inside the belly of Flower.
"Flow misses Daddy a lot. Please forgive Flow for disappointing Daddy so much." Flower stammered in Dad William's arms.
Dad William rubbed his daughter's hair to calm the sobbing Flower.
"Daddy's got a lot of cravings for you too." Dad William replied without caring about his current prestige because there was Malik near them.
"Hiks..." Flower was still crying in the arms of Dad William speechlessly back. His deep longing and sadness left him speechless and could only channel his sadness through his current cries.
Mom Rania was no longer able to withstand her sadness and chose to rise from her seat. Without saying a word Mom Rania immediately embraced the child and her husband.
Parents and children who have rarely been together seem to channel their grief each through crying. They do not even care if they are currently in a public place and are the center of attention of people around them.
