New World: The Donpa
Core

The wilderness on the land of Outcast has a height of 100 meters and a crown width of about 30 meters. Not many species of animals can grow freely in Outcast soil. The Chimera that Meldanova created would annihilate all living things within it.

The Outcast was a land filled with metals and minerals, a material that was important enough for a kingdom's combat power. Melkuera, who knew the source of natural wealth in it, tried to steal it from the corner of the Outcast land. All of that was done to avoid bad things or threats from Meldanova.

The land of the Outcast is shrouded in a thick fog that can mislead living beings, and Meldanova's existence negates the clues of time and place in the land. For anyone who got into it, it was impossible for them to get out so easily.

Exploration forces from Melkuera led by Kameo entered the depths of the Outcast forest, but their arrival has welcomed Buzuzima, one of the Chimera species created by Meldanova.

"There's no sign of any other creature." Kameo looked around and stood by the shield and the sword he held.

"There's not much information we have about the abilities of this creature."

While sticking her sword into the ground, Trisa knelt down using her Core to look for the presence of other creatures.

"I don't feel the presence of wild animals here."

Hearing Trisa's words, Kameo muttered.

"Maybe we were exposed to the illusion of fog or something."

"Young ...!!!"

From the back, someone who was shouting looked lifted up, like something was binding and pulling on him.

"TRANSIG ...!!" Lantang Kameo gestured for Trisa to attack.

"HAAAA ...!!" Answering Kameo's orders, Trisa rushes to draw her sword and jumps.

Trisa leaped twenty meters high cutting off something that bound her members.

"I didn't feel them before, but they didn't set foot on the ground."

Trisa's slash makes Buzuzima appear from his transparent form. "There!" One of the troops pointed his sword towards Buzuzima.

With legs that have small hairs, become a fastener or adhesive on the footing, Buzuzima can stick between trees.

Responding to the direction of his members, Kameo prepared to put up the horses looking like they were going to float his shield like flying a flying saucer.

So fast did the shield that Kameo pointed at cut Buzuzima's neck.

"You okay?" Trisa appears to extend her hand to her partner who almost eaten Buzuzima.

The flying Kameo shield cut several tree branches and planted them in the middle of the tree.

Relieved, a happy smile reached for Trisa's hand. "Te-accept ... " Had not had time to express his gratitude, suddenly his head was pounced on by another Buzuzima from behind.

Trisa, who was shocked, jumped back and kept her distance.

The branches of the tree that fell from Kameo's throw made a sound that became a signal for Buzuzima to come out of his hiding place.

Not just one but there are many Buzuzima coming.

A fierce battle ensued between them, with their defensive formations resisting Buzuzima's attacks from all directions.

Some pond troops used the Core to strengthen its strength and speed.

Core is the physical strength that results from the acceleration of blood pumps by the heart, blood flow from the core user increased, and experienced hardening of certain muscles.

Trisa seemed overwhelmed slashing some of Buzuzima's elongated tongues towards her.

"Kameo, are you okay?"

"Save your question ..." replied Kameo as he swung his sword.

Kameo, who no longer held a shield, fought using two swords at once. Seeing her move so agile made Trisa ask. "Damn! With that muscle you can move freely?" Syndirian Trisa who saw Kameo's body so big.

They were both joking in the middle of Buzuzima's attack.

Buzuzima attacks like ordinary animals that do not have intelligence, only based on the desire to prey.for both of them it is quite easy to avoid, but different from other colleagues. Some of them have been killed.

The imbalance in the use of Core can be detrimental to its own users.

Although they had no sense, their attacks were quite neat and structured.

Kameo who watched around saw Buzuzima who kept coming from behind the bush and from the trees. Seeing the condition of his overwhelmed members he tried to find a way to defeat Buzuzima.

But their numbers keep growing.

"Strade ...!"

"Si-shit, there's no end to it! What's up, Kameo?" Answer Kameo's call while surviving Buzuzima's attack.

"We're backing out!"

The final slash cut through the elongated tongue making Kameo pause for a moment while closing his eyes.

"LIVE ...!"

Trisa who saw Kameo standing still became an easy target when a Buzuzima jumped at her while opening her mouth so wide.

Kameo uses his Core to pump blood faster, from what Trisa sees to seem a shock wind coming out of Kameo's body, he quickly took back the sword he dropped and cut Buzuzima from his lips to his tail.

"Sixty seconds of our attempt to retreat."

"Ba-good ...." Surprised at Kameo's movements, Trisa replies and directs her partner to retreat. "All ... prepare to retreat ...!!"

Kameo's movements were so fast that he could not be seen easily by the eye, he attacked Buzuzima from each side alone.

"Crazy ...!! We can run this easy thanks to him." Awe-inspiring Trisa watches around, whenever Buzuzima is about to attack, suddenly the creature is cut off before their attack reaches Trisa and some of its members.

Kameo used the Core enhancement for sixty seconds, it was the limit of his ability, more than that he would find any adverse effects on himself.

The number of Buzuzima continues to grow, until the exploration forces are overwhelmed to face their endless numbers. Now the exploration forces left forty-two people including Kameo and Trisa.

Trisa who was running led the troops was suddenly pushed back until it bounced into a giant tree, from what they saw.

"Bwars !!" The sound of the impact that occurred on Trisa and the tree to the point of causing his armor to shatter, along with his body that spilled blood around the area of the tree.

"TRISSAAA !!" Shouted Kameo saw Trisa covered in blood sitting on her back between the tree and the ground.

"Nurus ...." The voice of the Baboon was so loud that it roared before them.

The complete Chimera with different species surround them.

"Our end is ...." The desperate faces of the soldiers released swords and bowed to their knees.

Quickly Kameo jumped towards the Baboon that attacked Trisa, suddenly from the right side the Beast jumped to catch Kameo.

"Abue ...!!" Kameo shouted as the Beast bit his right shoulder while gripping his body.

"How could I be caught by this creature."

The swift movements Kameo made were unable to evade the Beast's sight. Beasts are indeed made to capture creatures that have fast movements.

Kameo's death was a sign that the entire exploration force was dying.

On the other hand, at the residence of Meldanova, some fruits from the Ensnare Tree suddenly appeared among the branches of the tree.

Donpa who saw some fruit suddenly appear among the branches of the tree was shocked.

"hee? Is this tree so fast?" He pointed to the open door behind Meldanova.

Seeing Donpa's surprised expression made him laugh. "Haha ..it's because there's blood dripping on this ground."

"You-you mean?" Donpa asked.

"Blood dripping on this ground will be dedicated to the Ensnare Tree, any blood dripping will fertilize this tree." While explaining Meldanova walked towards the table where there were fruits on the plate. "Is there any fruit in your world shaped like this?"

While paying attention to the details of the fruit in Meldanova's hands, Donpa thought. "Apel is it ?"

"N-no, apples aren't like this."

"See from the shape like an apple with a purple color."

"May I try it?"

"Of course, take it as much as you can." replied Meldanova

While holding the fruit Ensnare Donpa muttered. "Seeing from the shape it is indeed like a purple apple, but when held it is soft like wine."

Slowly Donpa pointed the fruit at her mouth, Meldanova from the right side noticed it.

"Haha .. is so sweet, isn't it?"

"Haha .. sure, please." Walking towards the door leading to the giant balcony, Meldanova smiled evilly back at Donpa muttering.
