Steve and Romi

Here they are now, at Raymond and Roma's wedding, at Ame's house on the outskirts of Jakarta. Following Arkana's advice, Romi meets Papa and is having a casual chat with Daddy Leo.

(following take one of the chapters in my novel "Dear Angela" a story of those who stopped by there.)

"Pa, Dad, I want to talk." Romi is already between Papa Anto and Daddy Leo.

"About?" anto asked while Leo only looked at Romi ready to listen.

"I love Anggita." Romi asserted.

"Eh..." Leo slightly gaped, while Anto smiled faintly, he had heard this news before, even Romi had confessed to him after the marriage of Sosa, just did not expect Romi to discuss it so soon.

"I beg Papa and Daddy to give it up" said Romi slightly lowered his head. His confidence began to wane seeing Leo's reaction seem flabbergasted.

"Solve your problem with Lembayung, Papa doesn't want anyone to get hurt." Anto pats Romi's shoulder.

"Me and Ayu are done, Pa. We're good friends now. Papa also knows Ayu already has someone he loves." Romi. Anto smiled at Leo who was still not reacting. The current atmosphere makes Leo unable to think. Leo did often see Romi drive Anggita home, but did not think it would go so far.

"It looks like we have to talk in a quiet place, it's too noisy here" said Leo to invite Romi and Anto to move places.

Now they're in Erwin's study. Mario, Andi and Steve were already there. Seeing Romi coming, Steve was immediately stunned. They fared the same, ups not. Steve only chuckles because he is fighting for Lembayung, Romi's fiancee.

"Of you guys, make it look like you don't have a burden." Andi shook her head.

"So you rejected Papa Andi's daughter, Rom?" andi asked casually but it made Romi not feel good.

"I'm happy to welcome him, Papa. Please accept me" replied Steve quickly.

"Are you sure Steve? You have different beliefs." said Mario staring Steve sharply.

"Didn't Papi ever say, it doesn't matter if I convert, the important thing is that I obey the religious orders that I hold." Steve reminded Mario.

"But Papi doesn't want you to change your faith just because you want to be with Ayu."

"I've been studying Islam since I was a kid, Papi. I've been wanting to change beliefs since I was in high school. Before I want to approach Ayu. Now I'm a Muslim, Papi." Steve replied reassuring Papi Mario.

"Steve!!! How dare you act behind Papi." Mario's voice began to rise.

"I'm sorry, Papi, I'm serious. I even memorized juz 30. I'm very serious, Papi. I'll obey." Steve lowered his head, resigned if Papi Mario will stick his head. But Mario didn't do that. He stood up and hugged his son.

"How are you going to explain to Mami, Son?" he rubbed Steve's shoulder while sighing.

"Mommy already knows, Papi. I asked for Mami's blessing first. Mami blesses me."

"How come's... Regina told me nothing. How can you two work together to hide something this important to Papi. Just so much you guys."

"Because I want to tell Papi directly. I'm sorry Papi, please don't blame Mami."

"You guys know that?" mario asked his best friend, they shook his head.

"You know Rom?" ask Mario again to Romi.

"Hehehe we're a generation knows Papi." Romi's face looked grim.

"So how did Papi, you agree?" Romi asked back. Mario flicked his shoulders, letting out a long sigh.

"Be responsible with all your decisions, Son. Papi could only pray." - Ogre Mario's voice, his eyes were a little teary. I don't know what he's thinking right now. All mixed up, but no anger or disappointment, just a sense of wanting to scream for some reason. Mario felt helpless, even though he always took time for his son and wife. He sat down again without saying anything.

"What about Ayu, is she willing to welcome you, Steve?" ask Anto to Steve.

"We love each other, Pa." replied Steve confidently.

"I love Daddy's daughter. Our blessing dad, we love each other." Romi's face was a little pinched. Leo looked at Anto. While Andi chuckled shaking his head. It's funny that these two friends thought Andi.

"Daddy will bless you then." replied Leo finally. Romi breathed a sigh of relief.

"So when will you get married, dare to ask for blessing of course already have a plan to the next stage" Andi said staring Romi and Steve alternately.

"Bikin rich I'm with Alex, exclaimed nih." celtuk Anto smiled ignorantly.

"Papa mean, we're taking the recipe with us?" ask Romi to make sure.

"Hmmm..." Anto raised his eyebrows.

"Well go to the garden party, Pa." replied Steve.

"Have you discussed the concept of marriage?" Andi chuckled again. Steve nodded his head while grimacing at Papi who was still silent.

"An angry fire?" ask Steve slowly.

"But appreciate your decision, Son. It's just that Papi feels a sense of carelessness. Papi thinks he knows as much about you as possible. Turns out there's something Papi doesn't know."

"Thank you, Papi. Again forgive me." said Steve. Mario smiled nodding his head.

"Call Mami, your future wife and her mother" said Mario later.

"Eh...!" Romi and Steve looked at each other.

"Quick or Papi's blessing unplug!!! mario's assertive make Steve immediately move.

"You are also Rom!!!" Anto is no less strict. Without saying Romi soon caught up with Steve. Run to execute Papa Anto's orders.

"How, is it safe to control?" ask Arkana when he sees Steve walking quickly.

"Hmmm..." Steve nodded his head without looking. Chico laughed at Steve's expression that was different from usual.

"Children of today's times are confused." Arkana's chuckle at Chico who's increasingly laughing at her.

"You see Mama Intan?" ask Romi to Arkana and Chico.

"That." pointed Chico at a group of beautiful women who were coolly roaring while joking.

"Ok, thank you" he said running up to the beautiful women of his love. While Steve still spinning no koruan.

"Darling, are you looking for me?" asked Lembayung when he saw his heart. He was with Naka, Sosa and Anggita.

"Yes darling.I've talked to Papi about us, now we meet our parents. You're also Nggie." said Steve breathed a sigh of relief. While Lembayung looked worried.

"Come on, look like you're going to be in court." kekeh Sosa saw Romi walking with Mama Intan, Mommy Liana and Mami Regina.

"Let's pray together for the smooth running of our event" Steve told Anggita and Lembayung.

"We need to hurry, Steve. Don't joke." lamented Angita a little upset.

"Who's joking, I'm serious. Let's bow our heads and pray, Bismillah..." Steve immediately put his hand up followed by the others.

"Praying is over" said Steve after a while. Naka shook his head, how can the music frenetic and guests seliweran they pray, but not pray can anywhere, Naka not protest just a little feel funny.

"Don't laugh at me, pray and remember God at all times." snorted Steve pulled Lembayung's hand, while Anggita followed behind.
