Neighboring With Genderuwo.

Neighboring With Genderuwo.
Kahyangan Village.

That afternoon Roy invited Nisa to buy house necessities in the city. Understandably, their departure to Yogya was very sudden, so Roy did not have time to bring a lot of personal equipment. Roy had wanted to take all family members out to dinner, but the father and others refused to come along. Roy just went alone with Nisa.

"Nisa, look at the two of us, how about we go to Kaliurang for a while".

"What are you going to do there??".

"Given our past, we used to spend the night together".

"Right, I don't remember that much".

"Then you agree, right?".

"We're married this time, so mom and dad won't worry about you anymore".

"As far as you go".

Roy turned the direction of the motor to Kaliurang. Both pass through the winding road and up and down the mountains. It was almost dusk when his motorbike suddenly jammed in front of the gate of a village. Nisa read the name of the village. Kahyangan village, looks foreign in the ears when reading his name.

From the beginning, Nisa's feeling was already not good.Travel this time in taste longer than usual. The route that passes both is not like the road in general.

Along the road was deserted, not meeting any other vehicles. And finally they got lost in the village.

"Damn it. This disposable motor broke down again".

"There's no workshop around here".

"Mas, you're sure this is the way to Kaliurang".

"I'm the real one here just saw this kahyangan area once".

"I also followed the road earlier, where I knew we were going the wrong way".

"Yes, let me find someone to ask".

Nisa entered the gate of Kahyangan village. A thick fog covered the surrounding scenery. Plus, the day has started at night. Nisa's visibility is limited due to the lack of lighting.

Suddenly from the front appeared the old man in black clothes and his head was wearing an iket. Nisa was of course surprised because she did not see his arrival earlier. Suddenly he appeared in front of his face.

"What do you need to do here??".

"Here sir, it looks like I'm straying here, and my bike's stuck".

"What...around here is a motor workshop sir??".

"If the workshop does not exist, but if there is a motorcycle repairman".

"Come,, take your husband in, I'll find someone who can actually build your bike".

"Okay sir, I'll call my husband for a minute".

Nisa approaches Roy by the side of the road. She took her husband to Kahyangan village. Roy guided his motorcycle following the steps of the middle-aged man in front of him.

"Let's go in first, it's dad's house".

"You must be tired, right, after walking a long way".

"Actually we want to go to Kaliurang sir, but do not know why stray up here".

"Is this place still far from Kaliurang??".

"It's still quite far, son, you better spend the night here".

"Tomorrow morning you just continue the journey".

Nisa and Roy had to comply with Mr. Sigit's request. Apparently he was the head of the hamlet in this place. After all, they will not be able to continue the journey if the motor is still stuck.

Roy pulled the phone out of his pants pocket. Surprisingly, in the village there was no signal at all. His intention was to contact the father at home, so that he did not worry about waiting.

"Sorry sir, there's no cell phone signal at all??".

"Indeed, there are no children, in the hamlet of Kahyangan is located high, so there is no cellphone signal".

"Electricity is still rare to have here".

"Most of us here use lantern lights".

Nisa and Roy feel very strange. In the advanced era like now, apparently there is still a remote village like this. Both of them could not imagine it happening to them. Nisa became interested in the lives of the people in this village.

"Where is your father's wife??".

"In this village there was just a celebration, so my wife helped there".

"O, yes.I forgot, introduce sir, I'm Nisa, and this is my husband Roy".

"It's okay, you understand".

Nisa looked around. It is only fitting that

the village was named Kahyangan. The thick fog that enveloped the entire village, like being on a cloud. This village is like a mystery. Nisa was curious.

Before long, from the direction of the door a middle-aged woman entered the house. He smiled at Nisa and Roy.

"There's a guest Lo Bu, quickly serve food".

"They must have been hungry before".

"No need to bother Mom, if the bike is ready, we go straight home".

"The motor won't be overnight".

"Sana ma'am, get me some food first".

"Of course it's badly damaged, or what, sir?".

"Obviously, you're gonna stay here tonight, Roy".

"Master's message, after 8pm tonight, you two don't leave this house".

"Why sir?".

"That's a nduk abstinence, it must be followed, it cannot be violated".

Nisa and Roy looked at each other. They get lost in a remote village, without cell phones and electricity, and cannot get out of the house. And the two of them had to survive all night in this mysterious village. Nisa couldn't imagine if she'd be at home.

Nisa just obey the words of Mr. Sigit. They both slept in the front room with mats. Mr. Sigit and Bu Sigit also accompanied sleeping with the two.

Although his body was tired, in fact did not make Roy and Nisa immediately fall asleep. They lie with their eyes awake. He saw that the two owners of the house had already fallen asleep in a dream.

From outside the house, sayup-sayup heard the sound of Gending gamelan. Maybe the voice came from a neighbor who was holding a celebration. Nisa and Roy are just listening, not intending to get up let alone get out of the house.

"Sleep Nisa, I'll stand by your side".

"I can't sleep mas".

"Try closing our eyes, tomorrow morning we're out of here".

The two spoke in a whisper, so as not to wake the owner of the house. Nisa tries to close her eyes as Roy says. The night was going very slowly. Just about to be shut down, Nisa and Roy hear a noise like people in the market.

Both of them woke up, thinking it was morning. The sound of footsteps of people passing around the house. Someone shouted offering merchandise. There are also people talking.

"Where are you going Nisa??".

"We're out, maybe it's morning".

"You heard, the market is open too".

"Stay here, don't go anywhere".

"Wait for the two of them to wake up, and then we can get out".

"But you heard a voice out there?".

"Please Nisa,, follow my words".

"We're visiting here, respect the owner of this house".

"If they don't let us out, then we must obey".

This time Nisa backed off. He lay down next to Roy. It seems only Roy can stop Nisa's gnawing. Usually, he must be curious and immediately follow the will of his heart. Under Roy's orders, Nisa is more obedient and more patient.
