My Twin Brother's Ghost

My Twin Brother's Ghost
12. Feelings

Atha returns to Rinna's room after making sure Arta is hard to stabilize. But in front of the room, a doctor treating Rinna and two sisters seemed confused because their patient was nowhere to be seen.

Atha walked over, until in the middle of the three people, he looked at them with a puzzled look. "What's up, Doc?"

Doctor Byan looked at him with a troubled look. "Sorry, Sir. The patient was not in his room. Do you know where he went? Last time we saw him out with you."

The deg!

Atha was pensive, trying to remember the last place she saw her little sister, but she didn't remember it at all.

"Sorry, Doc. I don't know the last time I saw him. Because he didn't follow me all the way to our destination. And there was an obstacle that made me unable to pay attention to it properly" said Atha, explaining politely.

The wrinkle on Atha's face did not fade, it only grew steep as time went on but there was no clear clue about Rinna's whereabouts.

"You've seen the CCTV, right?" ask Atha, to the three of them.

"Already, Sir. The last time we saw it with you, it went missing after entering the operating room hall, there was no CCTV, so we don't know what happened after that" explained the Doctor, getting confused.

"Oh, it–"

A nurse pointed towards the end of the hallway, looking at Rinna who was walking limply while leaning against the wall of the passageway, to help her walk.

The girl's left hand was bleeding again, even more blood than before her accident.

The information is also not in place. What is clear is that he ran away from someone and accidentally fell on his way.

The doctor and nurse ran straight towards him, welcoming Rinna with anxious gazes.

"You okay, Miss? How can you get hurt?!" doctor Byan shouted, examining the wound on Rinna's hand immediately for fear of breaking her bone or so on.

Because the blood that came out of Rinna's hands was not facial, it was swift. The doctors who were around, ran up to him and saw his condition.

"On the stairs–"

Only those two words were capable of Rinna speaking at the end of her consciousness. After that she fainted in the arms of the sisters.

Atha, who was his family status, instead just stayed in his place and stared at the commotion in front of him with a silent look.

There was no expression on his face. Whether sad, anxious, or happy.

Atha just stared flatly as her sister was carried by Doctor Byan and brought into her room quickly.

"Prepare the x-ray room, bring gauze and cotton too! I need a lot!" doctor Byan shouted, to the sisters.

Then after that, his two beads inadvertently linked with the gaze of Atha who was still faithful standing in front of the door, without getting out of place and approaching the patient.

Doctor Byan only sighed harshly and immediately refocused his sight on Rinna who was in critical condition.

"Please no more. Not again this time! I don't want to see events like years ago. Please hold on, miss. You must stand up and fight them!" doctor Byan said, as if knowing what happened to Rinna's body at this time.

"Lord, save your weak servant! For this time, please hold on, Miss Rinna."

"He's all right?" ezra asked, turning to Atha who had just come with lunch, for himself.

"The doctor said he was more stable. But still, we must always be prepared to accept the worst consequences. You know, right?" said Atha, walking closer to them.

Ezra nodded in understanding. "What about your Mama? Is he going to come here?"

Atha was silent, turning his face away from his father.

"Huh, did he go to that woman's shaman again? This time for the same thing?" ezra asked, more towards the emotions that wanted to explode right then and there.

Maya always goes to a female shaman every year. I don't know what because, but after he did that, the girls they brought home were always sickly and left them.

"Mama does that every year, Dad. Don't be too heart-picked. It's all a disaster and Mama is trying to fix it in her own way" said Atha, sighing tiredly while loosening her school tie.

"Really! He's been doing that for 17 years! And the 17 people he's sacrificed for that." Ezra clenched his hands tightly. "I never liked the way. Never liked it!"

Atha put down her cutlery, looking at the Father with an annoyed look. "Dad prefers strangers to children? Just be right. Dad made me not have a taste for food!" chirp, walk away from his lunch.

Ezra closed his eyes, staring at Atha's departure with a tired look. "If you're angry because of Dad's opinion, are you ready to take the consequences?"

Atha turned to Ezra for a moment, looked at him with a sharp look and left without answering him first.

Brak!

Atha came out of Arta's room, walked away from her twin sister's hallway and went downstairs, about to leave the hospital.

But while in the lobby he saw their junior sister who was sitting limp with a panicked face seeing Rinna's condition.

The beautiful girl just kept quiet with a blank look, like a dazed person even though her friends invited her to talk about many things with her.

Atha was speechless, recalling the girl who had that many expressions with a cold gaze.

"Why am I thinking about it too? Usually, too, let it go. I'll be dead soon too!" pekik Atha, was about to walk away leaving the lobby.

But when the look in his eyes met Rinna's eyes, he accidentally turned to her! Atha immediately held back her steps, looking at Rinna with a doubtful look.

"Why am I reluctant?" inner Atha, looked at Rinna's empty face while looking at her with a straight look.

"Sister, where are you going?" rinna asked, starting to turn the wheels of his chair and approaching the frozen Atha.

"He remembers me?" inner Atha, feeling astonished and surprised at the time together.

Rinna blinked her eyes innocently, her two beads of eyes came back to light, she came back like a living person.

The blank, domineering gaze now vanished once Rinna reached Atha, looking at her intently while showing off her beautiful twinkle.

Cc .. deg ....

Atha blocked her chest, frowning deeply as she felt a strange thump seeing Rinna's current expression.

"She's just an adopted child that Mama will make a crush on! But you even have this kind of feeling for her? You like that old girl?" Atha restored her coarse hair, looking at Rinna who was smacking a thin smile with a look of disbelief. "Well, you're right, Atha!" hard, on yourself.
