It's been 2 days that Briel hasn't contacted Jayden and it's upset Jayden and worried. Briel only contacted him when he was with his parents in the car to his house.
Briel's phone is off. Jayden also contacts Ava to ask for Briel's landline number. But only the servant picked up Briel's phone and said that Briel and her parents were going out of town to her relatives' house.

Briel regained consciousness on the third day of her surgery.
"Mom.", call her to the mommy whose eyes look swollen from always crying.

Then Briel realized something. His feet could not feel anything.
"Am I operated on mom" asked Briel quietly.
"Yes dear and you only realized 3 days after the surgery" replied Jason.
"Is the anesthetic still there, I can't feel anything at my feet" Briel said.
Maria and Jason begin to hold Briel's hand. He wanted to strengthen Briel for something to happen to him.
"Mom..Dad...What's the matter?", Briel's voice choked.
"Sadly, the accident injured your spine quite badly and left your legs paralyzed dear" Jason explained heartily and very slowly.
Briel was in shock at the fact. Her tears started to drip. Briel who rarely cried finally sobbed to the heart of his parents.
"Noooo..it can't be mom..no...no.it's just a nightmare right?let's get up Briel..banguuunn...ayo banguuunnn", Briel yelled hysterically by slapping her own cheeks repeatedly.
"Darling.we will give the best treatment for you.you can definitely walk again.this is not the end for you.There is still a 20% chance for you to recover dear.don't be discouraged.hmm", Jason braced Briel while Maria couldn't see all this and cried.
Maria then calls the doctor and the doctor injects a sedative on Briel who is still hysterical and Shock.
Maria and Jason looked down sad to see Briel.
An hour later Briel was aware of the effects of her sedative. Briel tried to calm down after crying back. Maria and Jason always stood by her and encouraged her.
"Don't say this to anyone mom.don't tell anyone about my situation, including our extended family" Briel said, still weeping softly.
"Honey.", said Maria softly as she stroked Briel's hand.
"Please.I don't want anyone to know what I'm doing.", Briel cried again and covered her face.
Mary wiped Briel's tears.
"I want to get out of this city, not until someone sees me paralyzed.I'm disabled now.I hate this mom.I hate it" Briel said in tears.
"Honey.daddy will treat you at the best doctor.don't worry" said Jason braced Briel by clasping his hands tightly.
"No Dad...I can't afford to swallow the disappointment again.What if I stay paralyzed?no. I don't want Dad", Briel.
"Darling.you can't be like this.there's mommy and daddy who always accompany you dear.at least you should try it.please.", continued Jason.
Briel shook her head and cried again.
Jason and Maria's hearts felt struck by the huge psalm at the sight of Briel's grief.

For 2 days Briel only pondered and cried a lot. Her dream to marry Jayden instantly broke. She doesn't want Jayden to marry her. She thought that she was just a disabled girl now.
The doctor looks to check on Briel and chances are that Briel will be allowed home in a week.
Jason and Maria haven't been home since the incident. They obeyed Briel's orders to say they were out of the country.
