Part 14: New Project

Renata and Jonatan are shocked when Geraldo has left their home all of a sudden.

''Dad? Why didn't you come here first?" jonatan asked immediately changed her panicked face with a smile welcoming the father.

''How's dad doing?" renata asked kindly to the in-laws.

''I'm good, Renata.'' Geraldo replied a little gently indeed if faced with this only son-in-law.

''Sorry I haven't been able to go to my father'' Renata said.

''It's okay, I'm still healthy. Don't worry, Geraldo replied.

They also helped Geraldo to sit in the living room together.

''What would Dad drink?" ask Renata.

Geraldo smiled bitterly at his son.

Renata smiled and then went to the kitchen followed by Mbok Mirah.

Shortly after making a drink, Renata joined Jonatan and Geraldo.

''Where's Anya?" geraldo asked, this time still pretending nothing happened.

Jonatan and his wife were looking at each other.

''His in the room, huh Ma? Usually this hour has gone to sleep, replied Jonatan.

''What about the wedding I'm offering?" ask Geraldo.

It was Renata's turn who didn't seem to know about this.

Jonatan and Renata tightly shook their heads.

''He was raided by police at the club while taking drugs with his friends, '' Geraldo said.

No longer surprised, Renata looked shocked to hear it. He doesn't believe Anya until it's like that.

''Dad, Anya can't possibly be up to drugs. I believe Anya will not do that.'' said Renata denied what he heard.

''I will send people to the police station, said Jonatan then reached for a cell phone in his pocket.

''No need, Bryan and his secretary are working on it.'' Geraldo said.

''How do you know?" jonatan asked curiously.

''The police themselves sent me a photo of Anya.'' Geraldo replied.

''How can they recognize Anya?" jonatan asked astonished, because the youngest child was never highlighted by the media face.

''He is my man, so he knows enough before anyone else. If it sounds outside, surely the company's shares immediately plummeted said Geraldo.

''I don't want a case like this to happen again. I consider you negligent as parents. Get Anya married soon, Geraldo continued.
