5 years later.
Azzam ran along the outskirts of the rice field by holding Azzura behind his body. Two brothers who are adrift 5 minutes of age is chasing a grasshopper that will be their pet bird meal at home.
"Abang, slow down," Azzura complained as she continued to run to try to keep up with her brother.
Not immediately answering, Azzam stopped his steps and the grasshopper disappeared somewhere.
This is not the first time Azzura complained, since his little sister was always grumbling and complaining.
"Loh Bang, why stop, but the trunk is gone, what will Buti eat?" grumbling Azzura again and again, Buti is the name of their pet bird, the Bird of Pail.
"Ading just wait here, let Brother who is chasing the grasshopper," Azzam said then about to release the grip of the two.
But Azzura even throbbed and did not want to take off the hand.
"No way, said our mother play it must be together, Abang want to stay in Zura right?" Azzura looked at him with a sharp look.
Azzam exhaled, he could never win if he argued with his brother.
"Yes come, but the run is fast" said Azzam and Azzura's smile immediately rose.
The two returned to hunt locusts with their hands holding each other.
While the mother, Haura is working on planting rice. Since 2 years ago, Aminah has been unable to work, so Haura became the backbone of their family.
As the sun rose, Haura began to scavenge for fortune. If there is work in the garden or the fields he will always come along. If it is not in the growing season and harvest, he will wash clothes and iron workers, even Haura received if told to take care of children.
When the sun sank, Haura still did not stop, the night she became a teacher.
All he did, to save for the future of his two children. Despite living a poor life, Haura still wants her child to have a decent life, can even have the highest education possible.
"Azzam, Azzura!" call Haura to her two children, immediately the two little boys stopped running and turned back to approach the mother who had pulled over from the middle of the rice field.
"Have you got the trunk yet?" asked Haura, she saw Azzam carrying a small bottle full of green locusts.
"Already Ma'am," replied Azzura enthusiastically.
"Well, now that you're home, feed Buti and accompany grandma Inah, okay?" tell Haura and her two children to nod.
They separated again, Haura again struggled with her work while Azzam and Azzura returned home.
Along the way home, Azzura continued to sing while Azzam shook his head, enjoying the melodious voice of his sister.
"Azzam!" someone shouted, and Azzam immediately turned to the source of the voice.
"Bang Labih, Abang Nanjan," Azzam said as the two teenagers approached him.
"What's the Bang?" asked Azzam again to make sure, although he was only 5 years old, but Azzam was so mature and independent, he was also brave and always protected the younger brother.
"Let's help my brother again, lately I have a lot of PR," Labih replied, he squatted down to align himself with Azzam and Azzura, two small children of this village who are so adorable and smart.
"But Azzam wants to feed Buti first Bang, Grandma Inah is also alone at home," Azzam explained as he was and Azzura nodded in agreement.
"Yes, later tonight yes, in the mosque finished praying magrib," replied Nanjan who mediated their agreement.
"Yes Bang" Azzam replied in agreement.
"Here, buy some food for your mother and nak Inah." Labih gave twenty thousand rupiah to Azzam.
At first Azzam refused, because he had not worked on the PR. But Labih insisted, after all, this is not their first deal. Labih knew the intelligence of Azzam. He believes his task will be completed correctly.
"Thank you Bang" Azzam replied as the money was in his hands.
Labih and Nanjan nodded, then pinched Azzura's soft cheeks that looked puffed up.
The two brothers then continued their steps to return home.
"Ading, remember yes, do not tell your mother and grandmother that you helped PR have Labih's brother and Nanjan's brother," Azzam reminded me again when they both got to the porch.
Azzam had brought a bag of plastic filled with food, bought it with twenty thousand dollars earlier.
"Yes Bang, Zurra knows. Zurra is the most obedient Ading" Azzura answered proudly.
Unknowingly by the two, Aminah peeked at these two children and heard all their talk.
For a long time, Aminah was suspicious of Azzam and Azzura. These two kids always come home with food and sometimes money.
The reason Azzam, he said this was given by Labih and Nanjan because he felt sorry for Azzura. On the road Azzura was crying. That was always the reason Azzam gave me.
But it continued, until Aminah became suspicious. Secretly, he investigated for himself what his two grandchildren were doing.
Aminah was so surprised, when she found out that Azzam was that smart, growing up to be a genius child. At the age of 5 years, Azzam is already fluent in reading, even doing high school assignments, Labih and Nanjan.
From doing these problems, Azzam was paid in the form of twenty thousand rupiah.
Aminah was so proud, Haura could have a child as great as Azzam. But until now, Aminah was still a secret about this from Haura.
Aminah still wanted to know many things about Azzam and Azzura. Why did these two boys lie to their mother.
"Assalamualaikum, Nek," called Azzam, hearing the knock on the door and the greeting Aminah pretended not to hear. Even though he was behind the door, he did not open it immediately, giving him a longer time.
"Asslamualaikum" Azzura said, and the door opened.
They all went in and Azzam gave Aminah his plastic bag.
"Abang Labih loved Zam?" aminah asked pretending not to know.
"Yes Nek," Azzam replied with a horse's grin, then parted and pulled Azzura to feed their pet birds.
Buti, is Azzam's escape to avoid many questions.
