Love For Shakila Eps. 03

Section 3

🍁🍁🍁

After dawn, Shakila drove Arumi and Liza to the place where the overnight boarding car drove her, parked.

"We're saying yes, Sha. You must be strong and sincere. Remember there is a God who will always be with you." Liza clasped Shakila's hand while commenting on the big smile.

"God, God" said Shakila with a faint smile.

"It's my number." Arumi thrust out a piece of paper inscribed with twelve numbers - numbers. "Later if you already have a cell phone, called," continued Arumi.

Shakila nodded and accepted the paper. "God, God" he said later.

Arumi tightly hugged Shakila's body, as a farewell greeting, making the girl almost come back crying. After this, either God would still allow them to meet or not.

"Don't forget me, yeah, Rum. After Sister Syifa, you and Liza are everything to me" said Shakila who finally sobbed in Arumi's arms.

Although he was all his strength to dispel his tears not to drip again, but his defense still lost. Imagining the breakup had actually been in plain sight made her heart extremely claustrophobic and ended up breaking down her every struggle to not come back crying again. What happened in these two days was completely beyond his expectations. Even in a dream, he never imagined.

"That's not gonna be possible. If you have trouble, find me. God willing, I will not let you go through the difficulties myself" said Arumi lirih. He could barely hold back his tears.

Shakila tightened the embrace and then a few minutes later she let go.

Liza came closer and did the same. "Don't cry anymore, or Ustaz Azhar will take you for a whiny and make him change his mind towards you later. Ustaz your idol may have turned to me instead" he whispered softly, hoping that his trivial prank would slightly divert the pain that Shakila was enduring.

Shakila smiled faintly at Liza's words. He looked at Ustaz Azhar who was walking towards them. The views of the two instantly collided. However, the girl hurriedly lowered her head, avoiding Ustaz Azhar's uncharacteristic gaze. The young Ustaz looked at him with a sad look.

While Ustaz Azhar unintentionally caught that thin smile, it felt a little relieved. At least, the girl he had always mentioned in his prayer could already smile, although it looked half-hearted but it was quite soothing to his feelings.

Arumi and Liza enter the car.

The time of the farewell finally arrived. Shakila strengthened her heart. As Arumi said, he could definitely get through those tough days. There is a God who will always be with him even if now the only one who will accept him has gone.

"I'm sure you're a strong and great woman of God's choice" Ustaz Azhar said suddenly as Shakila closed the car door after her two best friends entered.

Shakila jerks. The girl instantly lowered her head in, not daring to look at the young Ustaz in front of her. A nervous feeling shackled him. His tongue feels too. Even to say thank you he was unable, because Ustaz who he had long admired was willing to take his home last night.

"Assalamualaikum," said Ustaz Azhar later when he realized the girl in front of him was being hit by an uncomfortable feeling.

Then he entered the car. Ignoring a part of his heart that asked to stay even longer. If he's willing to keep it there, make sure the fragile-looking girl stays strong and okay. However, his duties and obligations are waiting at the boarding school and he can not leave it all.

Shakila nodded in reverence. "Waalaikumsalam, Ustaz," he replied.

"Smile," said Arumi, putting her index finger and thumb on the corners of her lips.

Shakila developed a smile, just like Arumi had asked. A second later, the car drove off carrying Arumi and Liza.

Shakila looked at the pane of a mound of dirt that looked wet. His heart was still hard to believe that Syifa's body had been buried in the bowels of the earth. He was still hoping that the two days he spent were a nightmare and when he woke up, Syifa's mellow smile could still be seen.

One by one, the men began to leave the cemetery. Left Shakila who looks still reluctant to move. If you can choose, it feels like the girl is better to follow Syifa alone, than to have to feel how painful it is to live alone in this world. He also really doesn't know where to go now. In Syifa's house there must be Shafa and Aisha's mother. He was too scared to see them again.

Suddenly the girl felt sorry, because of her decision to stay because she did not want to spend all the time left with Syifa. Should have been, he just along with his two friends back to the boarding school and back to serve there until there is someone who can really accept it later. Ah, no! Maybe for a lifetime devoted to the holy prison, it's okay.

He does not want to be too high-minded. Who would accept a girl born from the womb of a second woman like her. Even if there, his presence will only make the person's life strange later and he already does not want to make someone rebel or even to have problems with his family just because of his presence. Just like Syifa did all this time.

Remembering Syifa, Shakila's tears flowed again. Syifa is his only strength. Syifa was the only reason he had survived to this extent. Then, when the reason and strength have gone, will he still be able to stand upright later?

Shofia, who was aware that there was no Shakila among the people who had begun to leave the tomb, returned to the cemetery with her eyes on her. And sure enough, his eyes instantly caught the presence of Shakila who looked apprehensive. The girl sat curled up, hugging her knees while burying her face in between. Sighing for a moment, Shofia then stepped back towards Shakila.

"Shofi, where are you going?" shafa asked as he watched Shofia turn around.

Shofia advanced her chin, as a gesture for Shafa to follow her gaze. Shafa followed Shofia's gaze and was stunned when he found the figure of the girl he never expected to see so sad there. His conscience was slightly disturbed because of that, but again lost to his greater ego. The fortress that he had been building again made the walls invisible and re-established his heart to remain able to ignore the girl.

Shafa resumed his steps, following the mother who was a few steps away from him. Ignoring Shofia who turned back towards the tomb of Syifa where Shakila wailed.

Shofia touched Shakila's shoulder slowly, making the girl instantly flinch.

"Astaghfiullah!"she said out of surprise. Shakila looked up to see who had surprised her.

"Sister Shofia?" he muttered again when he realized Shofia was the one who touched his shoulder.

"Why is it still here? Come on, go home." Shofia extended her hand, but Shakila hesitated to return the gesture.

"Come ...." Shofia pulled Shakila's hand which looked doubtful.

"But, Sister ...." Shakila. He slightly disagreed because he was very afraid if he had to meet Shafa and Aisha's mother.

"It will soon rain, it is not good if you still remain silent here. After all, Syifa will definitely be very sad to see you like this," Shofia said.

Shakila looked down sharply. Should he follow Shofia home? But ... he was really doubtful.

"Already, come. Don't think macem. There me? I'm your brother too, right?"

"Kakak ..," said Shakila lirih.

Shofia nodded. "Yes, I'm your brother, right?" smiling reply.

Shakila bit her lip as Shofia further clarified her words. The tears he tried to endure finally seeped as well, flowing down his smooth cheeks.

"Already, come!" Shofia again reached Shakila's hand and led the girl's steps to follow her.

"Shafa .. wait a minute, son !" Aisyah slightly ran after the steps of her eldest daughter. "What's wrong?" ask her when Shafa stops.

"Why, Mom? Why ...," Shafa said with a feeling of tightness.

"Why what, son?" asked Aisyah confused.

"After Syifa, is it now Shofia that the girl will take?" shafa said again.

"Astaghfirullah's. Why talk like that, son?"

"What else then, Mom? You didn't see how Shofia was doing with that girl?"

Aisyah sighed. Seeing her, Shofia began to show concern for Shakila.

"Nope ...."

"No, Ma. I'm not gonna let that girl take Shofia like she did Syifa. It won't." Shafa cut off his mother's words quickly, then headed for the room he used to occupy during a visit to the house.

"Mommy ...." Shafa's youngest son ran to catch up, but Shafa had closed the door hard.

The seven-year-old was shocked.

"Darling .. playing same eye first, yes. Mami is not feeling well anymore" said Aisyah approached her grandson.

"But, Alfa wants to play with Mami, Yang," said the boy sadly.

"Yes, but Mami's not feeling well. Same with me, yes, son," persuaded Aisyah again.

Finally Alfa nodded. Aisyah developed a smile. However, suddenly a little girl bumped into Alfa making the Shafa boy nag. "Oh, Aulia! You don't run, dong," he scolded.

"I-iya .. sorry, Brother Alfa," the little girl's great-granddaughter was a little afraid of not getting used to being yelled at.

"Eh, Alpha? Why do people talk like they're angry?" said Aisyah softly. "Can't be, yeah. If his sister is wrong, be well reprimanded. Don't even get yelled at. No, yes, son," continued Aisyah again.

Alfa nodded slowly.

"Aunty Sha?" aulia shouted brightly when she saw Shakila's presence with Shofia.

The little girl ran over and hugged Shakila's waist tightly.

"Aunty from where? She said she wanted to teach Aulia prayer so she could doain Mama," said the four-year-old girl innocently.

Shakila rubbed Aulia's head gently affectionately. Seeing Aulia reminded him of Syifa.

"I'm sorry, yes, dear ... Aunty just dragged Mama to her new home," she said, crouching in alignment.

"Kok, Aulia wasn't invited, Aunty?" The little girl asked again.

"Later, sometime we go there, yes," said Shakila Pilu.

"Yeah!" aulia's cheers were happy to make the adults who were in the room feel claustrophobic.

"Who is that, who is that? Why is Aunty called Aulia? Aunty's aunty, right? Then Alfa's aunt dong?" Alfa asked while pointing at Shakila. He looks curious.

Aisyah swallowed her saliva with great difficulty. How does he explain. Shofia who noticed her mother's unrest approached.

"Honey, this is called Aunty-"

"Enough, Shofia! You don't have to explain that girl to my son!" shafa shouted angrily then pulled roughly his son's hand.

"Mami, sick ...," whined Alfa because Shafa was too strong to hold her hand.

"Sister, Alpha is in pain" said Shofia, not having the heart to see his nephew in pain.

However, Shafa did not heed Shofia's remarks. He continued to step up and then closed the door violently.
