I'm a Vampire

Melody invited Niko to her house which has an area of 5000 m². Niko shows a pet wild animal in the garden behind her huge house. Melody had seen the animal, Niko used the picture on her social media account.

Melody did not dare to step closer as those sorts of black beetles roared towards her.

But Niko instead opened her cage to put a large chain to her neck after that took her out of the cage.

Melody took a few steps back in anticipation that the beast might attack her.

"It's okay, he's full, he's not too savage either. Every day the claws are also cut" Niko told Melody. "Come here."

Melody remained unmoved, and Niko walked up to her. Melody took a few steps back.

"Alright, don't come any closer" said Niko. "Niki, sadist'!! (Niki, sit down)."

The beast complied and sat down. Melody was amazed to see it.

"His name is Niki, he only understands Russian" Niko said. "Come here, just hold it!! I'm not gonna let him hurt you."

Melody starts to believe Niko's words. He stepped forward, and Niko raised her hand to hold onto Melody's hand, the girl greeted him.

"Will he bite?" melody asked ascertained as the girl was still doubtful.

"I'll bite you if you don't believe me." joked Niko.

Melody began to ventured to pet the tame-looking beast. The animal doesn't look creepy anymore. Now Melody became happy with petting him.

"HUUMM!!" niko cried out to surprise Melody who seemed engrossed in petting her pet Niki.

Melody was so shocked that she walked back, then looked at Niko annoyed. Niko laughed but held him back because she did not want the girl to get even more upset with him.

"I'll take a picture of you with Niki" Niko said after taking out her phone. "Get it!!" Niko gives her chain to Melody.

Niko took a few steps back to photograph Melody with Niki.

"Smile, Melody." exclaimed Niko and Melody according to him.

Niko looks at the shots with a smile looking at Melody's face in the photo. He felt even more lucky this time along with the girl.

"You're prettier when you smile, thankfully you rarely smile, otherwise there are a lot of men chasing you."

Melody threw away Niko's gaze.

Niko put her pet back in the cage. Then they walked to a swimming pool that was very large in size. Niko applied lip moisturizer to her lips to make her dry lips become moist.

"Why don't you accept my friend request on your social media? Why do you need to make your account private? You make me even more curious." said Niko while reinserting her lip moisturizer into her right coat pocket.

"What?" asked Melody turned to look at Niko who was walking beside her. "I forgot. I'll take it later."

Melody was a bit awkward being with Niko at the moment. But he doesn't want to look like that.

"Do you like to swim?" look at Melody on Niko. "The swimming pool is huge."

Niko stopped walking just as they were by the pool. He faced Melody with a serious look.

"I can't swim." replied Niko.

Melody just kept quiet to hear Niko's answer which sounded a joke even though she said it with a very serious face.

Lion who is in the coffee shop opens the maps application on his mobile phone. He was so serious about staring at his phone that he didn't even blink.

After that Lion opened his social media account and saw the latest post from Niko. A photo of Melody along with Niko's pet a black panther named Niki.

"He really likes to show off" muttered Lion commenting on Niko's post. "It looks like you're enjoying Melon, you're even smiling in the photo."

"Don't talk to yourself like crazy." exclaimed Mona who was watching Lion while making a drink. "Home home, you're so underworked, you've been here for almost three hours and you didn't order anything."

"I'm being irritated, you should treat me, Mona." Lion replied. "You have a lot of heart for a guy who likes you."

After that Mona walked up to the Lion with a glass of drink containing white milk.

"Drink, then go home" Mona said.

"Meet me drink first." Lion smiled.

Mona complied and immediately sat in front of Lion.

"What's wrong? Since yesterday you've been here."

"I have no friends." replied Lion lightly after that sipping cold milk with a straw.

"Don't brag, Mario always talks if he doesn't memorize all the names of your friends so much."

"Mona, last night I had a dream about Mario" Lion said in a serious manner. "In that dream he just looked at me, I was silent because of his gaze."

"Don't start again, Lion." exclaimed Mona. "Let the fool calm down, you don't have to go on with your guilt."

Lion changed his expression and smiled foolishly.

"What time did you finish work? I'll take you home."

"Go, I'll go home by myself!!" mona exclaimed back behind the cashier's desk. "I'm tired of seeing and hearing your babble."

Lion simply squinted his eyes with an annoyed smile at Mona.

Time showed seven o'clock the night Niko drove Melody home in her car. Melody watched Niko's left hand driving. He always wears gloves on his hands. It made Melody very curious as to why.

"Why do you always wear gloves on your left hand, Niko?" Melody looked at Niko who was watching the road ahead. "You always put it in your coat pocket whenever you don't do anything."

Niko turned to Melody at the red light.

"It's to look cool." Niko smiled.

"You're also weird, instead of being so hot here, why do you wear a coat and don't even take it off at school" Melody said. "In Russia it's very cold you're used to the cold air, but it's very hot, even when it rains nothing compared to the climate in Russia. Isn't it weird that you always wear a coat here?"

Niko laughed at Melody's words.

"You know, I moved here when I graduated from Elementary School and was planning to return to Russia after graduating from Junior High, but it turns out I like it better here" Niko replied. "I don't get along well with the cold climate there because that's why I prefer to stay here" Niko replied while running back her car because it's already a green light.

"It doesn't seem like the answer to my question." said Melody coldly.

"Geez, it turns out that you were really the girl I saw at the airport then huh." muttered Niko smiling at Melody. "What does that mean when our relationship is getting closer?"

Melody tried to be calm. He felt that at this time Niko kept twirling her answer or diverting the topic of conversation. But it made the girl even more curious about the reason for all that.

"You seem to avoid not answering my question. Even all the things I asked you today, there's nothing you answer with the answers you should." Melody said coldly. "You said you couldn't swim, but it's very strange that if you had such a big swimming pool in your house, you also answered with the cliche excuse you made for the gloves. Now you keep twisting your answers to avoid my questions. At least if you want to get closer to me, you have to answer everything honestly."

Niko quickly slammed the steering wheel to the left and braked suddenly after hearing Melody's words, making horns from other cars on the road roar together.

Niko looked coldly at Melody.

"I am a vampire."
