Midnight has been turned. Another hour and a half is approaching early morning. The atmosphere felt so lonely because all humans were resting themselves. The sound of the night animals seemed to symphonize. The low temperature, if without warm clothes, would definitely feel quite piercing.
There, the young man drove his motorbike with a worried feeling. His heart beats unbecoming. Minimal lighting makes the atmosphere feel gripping. Wind blows slowly— caress the skin until the feathers begin to bristle.
'Shit!' The young man cursed inside. He did not need to lie to himself if he was indeed afraid of this creepy atmosphere. If only there were one or two people present around him, he would have been able to overcome this sense but there was none, and it made him feel increasingly drowned by the darkness of the silence of the night.
'I got to this village too soon, ' he thought. With great care, he looked around. According to his father's explanation, during the holidays here with his brothers, he will live in a family villa located about 300 kilometers from the village entrance. For now, he expected nothing but to get to the building soon.
Supposedly, he left this afternoon with his brothers. But with some consideration, he decided to leave early. Twilight yesterday, he started his journey—but he never expected, that he would reach midnight like this. He thought, getting to this village will take longer because the place is quite remote.
'Come on Keeran, don't be afraid!' his mind, encouraging himself. He is sure, in a few minutes, he will soon reach his destination. 'It looks like it's still fifty meters away, ' he whispered, in his heart.
Keeran rode his bike more vigorously when he imagined that he had reached his destination. He was more relieved when he imagined it. But a blinding figure passing in front of him, managed to make him brake suddenly.
"Damn! Can't you be careful! Hey!" he said with a slightly raised tone. He was carried away by emotions— depressed feelings managed to make him sensitive.
"Gosh, Miss?" Keeran who realized his mistake, immediately got off his bike, then opened his full face helmet. "I'm sorry I got carried away by that emotion," he said.
Keeran looked at the girl standing before him from top to bottom. The creature looked really flashy. He believes the figure is an albino.
Keeran patiently waited. But the girl did not respond, not even facing him. "Eh ..., know Vila near here, not—vila Virya family?" he asked, trying to dig up information. He could see, the woman began to react by turning her face.
"Miss?" Keeran looked dumbfounded when he saw the look of the girl who somehow looked surprised. Her face was beautiful, but her strange and sinister manner, honestly made the young man's body want to tremble with fear. Moreover, the cold tonight felt piercing the skin.
"Non—hey!" Keeran only shook his head when the girl instead ran quickly away from him. The young man had thought of chasing him, but he did not have time for such a game. Most importantly, he had to get to the villa immediately and rest himself there.
'Wacky girl!' whisper, in the heart. The young man put his helmet back on before a few seconds later, he realized something.
"Wait on! Why is someone out in the middle of the night?" with a heart that beats fast. "Don't-don't—" Keeran immediately shook his head thanks to the negative thoughts that had penetrated into his brain.
"I have to get to the villa! What if that girl wasn't human?" said Keeran, panicking, while riding back on his bike and driving it. A few seconds later, it turns out he can already see the building he was looking for standing firm and well maintained at the end there.
'I arrived! Thank goodness I survived!' With a trembling body, Keeran immediately stopped his vehicle when he reached the tightly locked gate of the villa. He was silent for a moment, then reached into the small bag on his waist. Yesterday, his mother gave him the keys to the building.
"Ah—I forgot if Kala brought it! Shit!" Keeran growled in annoyance, then kicked his motorcycle tyre with emotion. He was lost, and now, he was at a loss to rest himself where.
"But what about my fate?" Keeran is sorry for himself. Sure, he looks pretty awful now. If Kalandra and her other siblings knew, she would be laughed at.
"Damn!" Keeran looked at a sofa in front of the villa. It doesn't seem like a bad place to sleep. After all, he brought a blanket just in case; to enter, he could do by climbing the two-meter-high fence.
"It's not in vain that I've truant twice back in High School! Yeah—I'm so cool!" exclaim Keeran. With a spirit like a young man who wanted to brawl, he rushed to do what was in the fruits of his mind. In one try, he succeeded; it made him feel even more proud of the experience which was actually rather despicable.
On the other hand, Maydea seemed to frown while staring at Keeran from a distance—at a distance she thought was safe. The man jumped up and down. The albino girl, of course, was confused by Keeran's behavior which suddenly looked very happy until it was like that.
"What's going on? At first, he looked angry and kicked his motorcycle tyre; but shortly after, he instead looked happy after successfully jumping over the gate of the villa." Maydea continued her muttering habit. The girl, then sighed. His face was minimal expression, suddenly forming a look that even makes it look cute.
"I'm glad I remember him in the picture. Otherwise, I might have considered him a bad person. He came faster than the old man said" Maydea said. He looked back at the candra with a smile on his face. 'Freaky people, ' he thought.
Maydea passed away. He should go home soon because it was getting late. As Keeran felt; the girl also felt that the atmosphere tonight was very gripping. In fact, along the way home, Maydea's body always stiffened. As an indigo, he has seen some invisible creatures at the beginning of the day. They did not bother him; at best they only caused creepy sounds such as shrill laughter, heart-wrenching cries, or even the chants of silence that always made Maydea feel empty when she heard them.
Sometimes, Maydea felt like she was a walking corpse. It has very little expression and minimal interaction. People often call it strange because of that; because in addition to the physical minority, the attitude is also the same as not generally.
Maydea often thinks why her nature is different from that of her parents. His mother was friendly to anyone; his father Satria, even if he had changed, remained a sociable type of person. Strange considering the nature of Maydea is not made up; not because of bad experiences or what—but it is natural like that.
'Gayatri?!' Maydea squealed in surprise in her inner being. He looked at his stepmother from where she was, and then hid. Enjoyed what Gayatri was doing with the human figure in black clothes, but unfortunately he could not listen to what they were talking about.
Maydea frowned in wonder until her two eyebrows completely fused together. Gayatri's behavior now, looks very suspicious. It was as if the woman was conducting a forbidden goods transaction. Gayatri received a plastic bag that she did not know what it contained from the man, then she handed him some money in the envelope.
Maydea looked suspicious. The interaction was carried out quite a distance away from the Chandrawinata residence. Now, Maydea just felt lost. He was too cool to think that he did not realize that he was going the wrong way. But who would have thought that made him find something interesting.
There's something Gayatri is hiding! Ya—definitely! That thing, must be very important.
'What is really going on? Gayatri looks very suspicious!' maydea with her sharp gaze. He hides behind the bushes— disguises his striking all-white body.
'The day has just begun. But I've been feeling weird about everything that's happened.'
Maydea was still monitoring, and before long, Gayatri was separated from the figure. The girl was relieved that she had not been caught, but she was shocked to find out that a black-clothed person was walking towards her. Maydea went back into hiding.
"Selling organs in humans is indeed very profitable! It's not in vain that I've taken pains to do so!" said the figure earlier, while removing the mask that disguised his identity.
Hearing the statement, Maydea widened her eyes. Instantly, he felt his head hurt. He knows a big secret. He feels this is awkward. He felt his whole life was really strange now! Her stepmother, who is somewhat mysterious, apparently bought and sold human organs illegally. The big question, what is the purpose?
'Who is Gayatri? I really didn't know her identity before becoming Dad's new wife. Ah—is my life in danger because I know that?'
