Chapter 78

Melinda and Raka finally return to stay at Melinda's family home. Dina and Katty look unhappy with the arrival of the couple.

Dina did not even greet or welcome the arrival of the two in the house.

Raka was eager to get angry and also protested with what Dina had done. However, Raka tried hard not to aggravate the situation that would make Melinda sad.

Melinda looks at her husband and hopes that her husband will be patient to face his family, especially facing the attitude of Dina and Katty who are cross-border.

“Mas Raka want to go directly to the room?” ask Melinda.

“Iya, take me to the room only. I don't want to linger seeing their faces,” concluded Raka.

“Mas Raka, forgive my family yes,” said Melinda who felt bad with her husband because of his family's attitude.

Melinda smiled and touched her husband's chest with the intention that her husband's irritation would soon disappear.

“We are fasting, Mas Raka,” Melinda said with a shady smile.

Seeing Melinda's smile, at once also the annoyance and anger Raka just disappeared.

Melinda blushed in embarrassment and rushed her husband into the room.

Dina and Katty are in the room. The two of them were talking about a married couple who would stay in the house for the night.

“Mama, how is this? I do not want Melinda and her paralyzed husband to sleep in this house,” said Katty who is not Judy with Melinda and also Raka who will stay at the house.

After performing the prayer, Melinda and Raka chose to be in the room.

“Mas Raka want me to make coffee?” tanya Melinda offers coffee for her husband, maybe the husband wants to enjoy coffee.

“Bby, as long as it does not trouble you,” replied Raka who did not want to trouble his wife.

Melinda laughed at what her husband said.

“Creating coffee is not at all a hassle, Mas Raka. Precisely I am happy to be able to serve Mas Raka,” Melinda bright and smile as sweet as possible.

Raka became misbehaved when she saw his wife's sweet smile.

Melinda came out of the room and Katty approached Melinda who was walking towards the kitchen.

Melinda doesn't accept what Katty said about her husband.

“Enough. I was still silent when you blasphemed, booing me and even saying bad things about me. However, do not ever insult my husband,” firmly Melinda while gripping tightly the hand of Katty who previously pointed her head with a very disrespectful.

Katty was surprised to see Melinda respond quite boldly. Outraged by Melinda's response, Katty grabbed Melinda's hair pretty hard. Melinda could not stand Katty's rude attitude, Melinda finally reciprocated Katty's treatment by dropping Katty.

“Aakkkhh..” Katty fell to the floor pretty hard.

Dina heard a screaming voice from her beloved daughter, Dina ran as fast as she could and saw Katty on the floor.

“Katty..” Dina panicked and helped her beloved daughter get up.

“Mama, Melinda pushed me,” Katty said and cried hysterically, as if she were a victim of Melinda.

As Melinda wanted to explain what happened, Dina instead slapped her stepdaughter quite hard. Incidentally, the incident was seen directly by Raka.

“Hei!” Raka screamed when she saw his wife had just been slapped by Dina.

Which husband is silent when he sees his wife hurt even more in a slap in front of the husband's eyes.

“Mr Raka, I did this because Melinda has been rude to Katty,” explained Dina trying to defend herself while defending her biological daughter.

“Shut!” Raka yells asking Dina to be quiet because what Raka wants to hear is an explanation from his wife and not someone else.

Raka moved her wheelchair closer to the wife who had just been slapped by Dina.

“Jawab honestly, what really happened,” pinta Raka on his wife.

“Mas Raka will believe what I said?” ask Melinda to make sure.

Raka smiled and clasped his wife's right hand tightly.

“Of course, I trust you,” replied Raka with a loving look to his wife.

Melinda smiled happily when she heard the answer from her husband. He finally explains what happened and how Katty started their problem.

Raka listens to what Melinda has to say very seriously and when Raka finds out that Katty and Dina started it, she starts it, Raka was angry and threatened the two not to do anything beyond the limits of patience of a Raka Arafat.

“This is the last warning for you. I hope you will not undergo Ramadan and Lebaran will be imprisoned. Or put it this way, how about you run fasting and Eid for the next few years in a holding cell?” tanya Raka said solemnly what she said.

Dina and Katty were overwhelmed with tears. They do not want to pass Eid al-Fitr in Ramadan and also Eid in prison.

“Tuan Raka, please forgive us. We are khilaf and we will not do anything like that again,” said Dina begging for forgiveness.

“What are you doing? You have made my wife suffer and you as a mother, what is it worth slapping a daughter even though this woman is your stepdaughter?” asked Raka very loudly.

Dina and Katty compactly apologise to Melinda who they have treated so unfairly.

Seeing her stepmother and Katty who rested in front of her by continuously apologizing. Making Melinda's heart soften right then and there. However, Melinda did not forgive them. Melinda asks them to promise that nothing like this ever happens again and Melinda also asks both of them to treat her and her husband as best they can.
