Married to Ex-Husband Boss

Married to Ex-Husband Boss
Chapter 47

"Fira!" call bukde Mila. "Fir!" call him again because Elfira doesn't answer.

"Yes bukde" said Elfira from the kitchen. "What's bukde?" ask her after being near Mila's bukde. The middle-aged woman stood behind the door while peeking out of the window.

"Here dok, let's see who's on our porch." Bukde Mila shifted his body and let Elfira peek out of the window.

Out of curiosity, Elfira also opened a little curtain and peeked at who the person in question bukde Mila. How surprised Elfira when she saw Erlangga who was still on the terrace, and can Elfira make sure if the man slept there all night.

Immediately Elfira opened the door and approached Erlangga followed by Mila bukde from behind.

"Er, wake up." Elfira shook Erlangga's body until the man opened his eyes. "Why are you still here? I told you to go home."

"Sorry Fir, I ... "

"Already .. already .. you should invite your friend to enter this ndok. Let him clean himself up inside," bukde Mila.

Erlangga immediately smiled as he saw Elfira could not refute the middle-aged woman's words.

"Come in," Elfira's orders were directly followed by Erlangga.

Bukde Mila could only shake his head looking at the two people in front of him.

While inside, Elfira gave a clean towel to Erlangga. "Nih the towel, the bathroom is there," said Elfira as she pointed at the bathroom at the end of the room.

Erlangga followed the direction of Elfira's index finger, after which he immediately walked towards the bathroom to immediately clean himself. Since arriving in this village, Erlangga has not cleansed himself at all so he feels that his body is very sticky.

...****************...

Erlangga had just finished taking a shower, he was drowning in front of the bathroom door looking for Elfira. But, there was no one there. Erlangga put his feet up when his ears heard the sound of people laughing.

And sure enough, on the porch of the house Elfira was sitting alone with Reza. They seemed familiar and occasionally laughed together as if something was amusing.

Erlangga came out and joined them. Seeing the arrival of Erlangga, both Reza and Elfira were both speechless.

"Why silence?" Go ahead" said Erlangga and sat next to Elfira.

"Yes Fir, I'm going home first. Greetings to bukde and Anin." Reza said goodbye to Elfira, he felt awkward with the presence of Erlangga.

"Kok coming home, did I bother ya?" ask Erlangga.

"Eh, no mas. My business with Fira is done, isn't it Fir?"

"Yes" answered Elfira briefly.

Reza returned home after saying goodbye to Elfira and Erlangga. After the departure of Reza, Erlangga and Elfira were silent to each other. Not a word came out of their mouths.

"Ekhem. Fir, I ... "

"Would you go home Er, I don't want any more problems later," said Elfira cutting off Erlangga's words.

"What problem is Fir, I came here to solve the problem between us. I want to explain the misunderstanding yesterday."

"I don't think it was Er's misunderstanding. Everything I see is clear, you ... "

"You jealous?" cutting Erlangga quickly made Elfira clench both her lips and speechless.

"For what reason am I jealous, after all you have become the husband of people so I have no right ..."

"Wait!" Erlangga spread her hands in front of Elfira's face. "What did you say. Husband? Whose husband?" Erlangga really did not understand the meaning of the words of Elfira earlier.

"Yes you are, pretend everything. You're married, so why did you come here. I don't want your wife to poke and make trouble in this village."

"Who is married. How can I marry if my future wife is still here. I'm here to pick you up so we can continue our wedding plans. Mama has also asked you to continue."

Elfira stared at the man sitting next to her intensely. He really did not understand, how could Erlangga say that he was not married while the invitation was accepted Elfira. Shouldn't he be on his honeymoon right now with his wife, but why did he catch up with Elfira all the way here.

"You don't joke Er, don't ever play with a wedding." Elfira said with great emphasis. He knows how painful it is to be betrayed by a partner, especially our own husband.

"I'm not kidding Fir, I never married anyone. Even if I have to get married, it has to be the same for you. I don't want another woman" Erlangga said solemnly.

For a moment Elfira was moved to hear Erlangga's words, but she quickly brushed him off. Elfira could not trust Erlangga just like that.

"Wait here" said Elfira then he went inside the house to pick up his phone. A moment later Elfira returned with a cell phone in her hand and Elfira opened her cell phone gallery and showed a photo of Erlangga and Jessica's wedding invitation that she got from someone a week ago.

"It." Elfira thrust her phone in front of Erlangga's face. "This is a picture of your wedding invitation, someone sent it to my phone."

Erlangga took the phone from Elfira's hand, he read carefully the contents of the invitation.

"So this is why you're leaving?" asked Erlangga while returning Elfira's phone. "So distrustful are you the same as me until you swallow the news raw without finding out the truth first as me?"

Somehow there is a sense of disappointment in the heart of Erlangga when the woman he loves prefers to trust others than himself.

"You know I love you so much, Fir, I even proposed to you."

"But you have betrayed my trust Er, you forget that you have been tempted by Jessica," Elfira quipped to make Erlangga immediately silent.

...****************...

Erlangga is preparing to return to Jakarta, actually he still wants to be in Sleman to fight for Elfira. But one of his clients suddenly advanced the meeting schedule because he had to go abroad at the meeting they had set before.

"Can't you come home with me, Fir?" asked Erlangga expectantly.

"Sorry Er, I can't. I still want to be here."

Elfira's answer discouraged Erlangga, he was eager to bring Elfira and Anin. Moreover, the mother continued to force him to bring Elfira. Erlangga took Elfira's hand and held it.

"Trust me, I have nothing to do with Jessica let alone marry her. The invitation Jessica sent was fake, she just wanted to piss you off and destroy our relationship." Erlangga stared fixedly at Elfira's eyes, hoping that the woman would believe him.

"I'm sorry I misunderstood you, but I'm honestly still angry with you considering what happened back in your office." Elfira recalled the events of that time made Erlangga grunt in frustration.

It turns out that it is difficult to persuade women who are already hurt. Erlangga regretted having been tempted by Jessica. He felt he had become the most stupid man because he had been tempted by the seduction of the devil.

"I'm sorry Fir, I still remember" Erlangga protested.

Elfira stared intently at Erlangga making the man's guts shrivel. "Until death I will always remember, so never betray my trust."
