Partner : Chapter 4

Today Rea did not enter work because of permission to prepare a family meeting that will discuss his future tonight, while Arkan still works as usual just permission to go home sooner.

Their family meeting will be held at a luxury restaurant that has been prepared by Laras, Arkan's mother.

Arkan was seen several times glancing at a flat object at his work desk, one hand was seen he put on the corner of his lips, his face was anxious, then grabbed the object to send a message to his lover.

Are you angry?

You're coming tonight, right?

I'm sorry I was wrong for being so angry, it's because I was so worried about you

Rea just laughed at the series of messages sent Arkan, the girl was enjoying treatment at the salon with her mother and future in-laws.

"What is from Arkan?" asked Laras who was enjoying a gentle massage on his shoulder.

"Yes aunty," replied Rea then put the phone on the desk, continuing to read the fashion magazine in her hand while waiting for her hair mask to be done.

"I'm glad we're going to be good" said Lydia to Laras.

"Our children are getting married soon, we are old Lid, soon we have a granddaughter hahahaha," Laras laughed, making Rea ashamed because they discussed the grandchild in front of her.

"I'm glad Rea got a man and his in-laws who love him so much"

Rea smiled looking at her mother.

Night

Arkan was worried because Rea did not return the message from him at all, he was wearing neat clothes standing in front of the door of the house. Mama and her papa went down then immediately took her son off, saw the face of her firstborn who was anxious, making Laras want to tease him.

"Why Ar, are you groggy? or did Rea not reply to your message?"

"Where do you know?" asked Arkan curiously.

"Mama's been your mama for almost 26 years, you don't know"

Her mother wanted to laugh out loud, because of her own acting.

"What if Rea doesn't come Ar?" Andi has been acting like his wife.

"What if Rea suddenly changed her mind, so don't you want to marry me?" tease her mother again

"Ahhh already let's go, mommy is equally papa make me more nervous" replied Arkan who had passed walking towards the car.

Mama and her father laughed amusedly, successfully pranking the child.

Arriving at the Arkan restaurant and his parents went straight to the room that had been ordered, when he entered Arkan was surprised because Rea and his future father-in-law had arrived early. Arkan then greeted Farhan and Lidia, hugging them in turn, he just smiled seeing Rea who looked beautiful was already sitting sweetly in his chair.

Laras deliberately ordered the round table so that the atmosphere felt more familiar, when the food had been served they began to manicure it while occasionally making small talks and laughing, until then Farhan began to ask with a serious mini face, and then Farhan began to ask questions with a serious face, even though he already knows the core of tonight's meeting.

"So what's the purpose of this dinner?" Farhan looked alternately at Arkan and Andi, signaling that one of them should answer his question.

Arkan put down his spoon, wiped his mouth then spoke.

"i would like to ask for the blessing of Farhan and Aunt Lydia to marry Rea"

Farhan looked towards Rea who was already smiling earlier.

"Do you really love Rea?" farhan asked as he stared intently at his son's lover.

Arkan was rather shocked to hear the question from Rea's father.

"I love Rea so much" Arkan replied

The man turned his eyes to his daughter

Arkan's heart was about to explode waiting for Rea's answer. The girl pretended to sigh, putting the spoon and fork in her hand before replying.

"Yes yeah, I want to" Rea replied with a smile.

Arkan let out a sigh of relief then everyone laughed as from earlier looking at Arkan's pale face without him noticing.

That night everyone was happy, especially Arkan and Rea. Both parties have agreed that the proposal will be implemented in the near future, while the marriage is carried out six months after the application.

Arkan drove Rea home to his apartment, they didn't talk much during the return trip, only their hands clasped each other all the way.

They're at Rea's unit's door now, the man still won't let go of Rea's hand. The girl opens the door but Arkan pulls her hand again.

"You said yesterday that I could get into your apartment if I brought my parents to see your parents"

Rea thought for a moment pretending to forget his own talk

"Oh yeah, when did I say that?"

No matter what Rea says, Arkan has barged into the apartment of his future wife. Rea closed the door, and the kitchen was clean because she never cooked and could not cook. Arkan looked into Rea's bedroom and dropped his body on the mattress.

"Get out of Ar, I want to change" Rea ordered, but the man did not move from his position.

Rea let her future husband, she walked towards her wardrobe to pick up a long pajama suit then entered the bathroom to change.

Arkan still did not shift from earlier, Rea left the man to come out of the room, take a cold drink and a snack in the refrigerator, and leave the man behind, sitting on the carpet in front of the TV leaning on the sofa putting drinks and snacks next to him, Arkan out of the room immediately lay his body on the carpet, putting his head on Rea's thighs, he turned his face towards the TV he was watching.

"Is this what you used to do when you were alone? watching the drama?" asked Arkan

"He'em" Rea replied as he downed the drink he had taken earlier.

Arkan turned his body, facing Rea, buried his head in Rea's stomach.

"Are you still angry?" ask Arkan

Rea was silent.

"Re, I'm asking are you still angry?" he was already sitting while looking at the girl in front of him.

"Re...." Arkan shook the girl's body.

Rea finally laughed looking at the frightened Arkan like a child, his hand picked up a snack beside Rea then ate it, feeding some into the girl's mouth as well.

"I'm just too worried, I don't want you to get hurt, I don't like it, it pisses me off myself, like I can't take care of you properly"

Rea's replacement feeds a snack so that her future husband is silent.

"Can I stay over?" ask Arkan later.

"May, but sleep on the couch"

Arkan snorted in annoyance, but eventually they ended up sleeping together on the carpet in front of the TV. After talking all night about the concept of marriage that Rea wanted, when to fill the house that Arkan bought for her with furniture, and how the household that an Earth Andreadina dreamed of.
