Ben hid long enough in the bathroom. Besides waiting for the two chatting people to come out, he was also busy calming down after what his wife said.
That Dea took advantage of her pregnancy, so that Ben would not continue his work at the company.
Ben did not mind the work. Because he did it for Dea, and if his wife asked to step down directly, for whatever sake, Ben would do it.
But giving Ben hope and then destroying it? They really did succeed.
Ben squatted down in limp, for some twenty minutes. He spent his time thinking about the feelings he was experiencing at this time while pulling hair to reduce the disappointment in him.
Even though he had spent a lot of time calming down in the bathroom, Ben still could not ease his disappointment. Half a full day he passed by with a sour expression. The man was no longer interested in things around, as he was still focused on his annoyance. However, Ben could not say or vent it in any form. Just being able to exhale, which honestly doesn't help much.
“Ben, let's go home.” The call was delivered directly by Dea, who was leaning comfortably in the doorway.
Ben who was wiping the kitchen area, had stopped his activities. However, not looking at it at all. Confused to hide his anger.
“Times, De. I finished this first.” Ben replied nonchalantly, then continued his work.
One of Ben's sensitive coworkers, was about to take over the lap from the man's hand. Not only failed, the female colleague was also pushed hard to take a step back because of Ben.
“Let me finish, Ben.” The woman again made clear her point. “This is my job. You go home with Ms. Dea.”
“No papa, Fa. This I can finish, kok,” said Ben gently, because a little guilty of his rude behavior just now, but lazy also to apologize. He also showed a sincere smile for the woman, in exchange for his apology.
“Ben ...” While Afifah really feels trapped here. Especially when he found the boss immediately straightened his back so seriously after Ben smiled. He hurriedly took the lap, and nudged Ben to get out of there. “Let me!’
When Ben was about to protest, the man's arm was already pulled quickly by Dea so that they could stand side by side. As Dea gave a warning smile to him, Ben just let out a long sigh and escaped looking the other way.
“Come home.” Dea once again repeated her invitation, and half-dragged Ben's arm to follow her.
“You're not a laper, Ben?” ask Dea before entering the car.
Ben kept walking coldly around the car and got in at the wheel. Making Dea instantly thin her lips, trying to guess what happened to her current husband. Because he had not found the right answer, Dea chose to enter.
“I'm a really big laper, Ben,” complained Dea while rubbing his stomach. “Close to eat huh?”
“Why not in dalem, De?” ask Ben. He seemed so busy putting on his seat belt, that he was not interested in glancing at his wife. “Dalem food sales. Or at home later.”
Dea was fishing, hoping this guy would take her somewhere for their second dinner. Although not sure it will be romantic before, but Dea is not a problem. They ate in different places, and only the two.
“Lain times yes, De? Weekend. Now I'm so tired. Unless you want to stop by yourself, I keep waiting in the car.” Ben refused gently, for this was his only attempt to hide and restrain his anger towards his wife.
If too long with Dea, with the memory of the afternoon being repeated, Ben hesitates to hold himself back from cursing at his wife. So, the exact path Ben could think of right now was to go home, take a cold shower, and go straight to sleep. Hopefully when he wakes up, he will be very calm. No longer paying attention to Dea and Dion's current plans.
“It seems, working in papa company that makes you tired, Ben. That's why I don't really like being there. Must be mentally prepared. In addition to the workload, competition between super-sane employees is also the alesannya. Really make burn out!”
Ben no longer chimed, because he was busy turning on the car, then brought the four-wheeled vehicle to walk away from the restaurant area. The man's expression was even colder than the night weather.
“Ben, you who prepared the fruits on my desk earlier?” dea asked, about to open a casual chat with her husband. However, Ben looks very even voiced, so it only gives a nod in response. “Kok can fit, huh? Incidentally, I wanted to eat fruit. Ngidam, I guess. Uh, by chance you're anther. Really, your bond with our children is very strong.”
“Do not slander a child who does not yet exist, De.” Only now did Ben speak, fed up with the topic of Dea's current chat.
Dea chuckled slightly, not really understanding the sarcasm that Ben conveyed. “Truly, Ben. I was so keen to eat fruit earlier, uh you've been anther. Thanks a lot yes, already understand my needs.”
Ben did not react at all to the praise expressed in that spoiled tone. In fact, Ben plays music for the sake of immersing and cancelling Dea's attempt to open a chat together in the car. The man almost never looked at Dea at all.
That was clearly realized by Dea. Ben's attitude changes this afternoon, even a blind man will be aware. Dea turned her gaze to his lap, glancing at his fingers there, while recalling the incident before returning home at the restaurant.
Ben did not say or give any clue about his change of attitude. However, Dea had another guess that was strongly believed by the woman.
All because considering the strangeness in the interaction of the woman earlier and Ben. They look all too familiar, even when Ben gives a smile that is too sweet, Dea easily translates it as a special form of hospitality.
And Dea doesn't like that, just remembering it.
Dea turned her gaze to the window with a roar of breath hunting down by the thought that was taking over her brain.
That Ben now has a special feeling, for other women.
Both of Dea's hands on his lap, instantly clenching firmly. Hate to think about it, dislike to remember their closeness, and feel pain .. when the shadow of the end of her marriage appears with Ben smiling happily while embracing other women as the cover of their relationship.
Dea .. jealousy.
