CHAPTER 29: THE TRAGEDY OF NAOKO

In a courtyard with vast green grass, shady trees wrapped the morning full of freshness. A man in his 50s wearing a black yutaka sat gracefully enjoying a cup of green tea. Kawaki sat opposite him in matching clothes, enjoying the green tea on the table in complete tranquility.

“Are you still busy looking for your toy rabbit?” the old man asked slowly.

Kawaki just fell silent not responding to it, he put his tea cup on the table.

“Do not waste time on useless things, after the destruction of the Aihara clan then the other clans will be very wary of you. Stay focused on the position you will be holding, the Endo clan is in your hands” added the old man.

“I just enjoy my free time, don't worry that it won't shake my position and have a bad impact on the Endo” clan Kawaki replied.

“You killed your uncle just because of the girl, love will blind you remember that” scolded the man.

“I also killed my mother's family on your orders, not us the same kind.ayah” said Kawaki staring at his interlocutor who turned out his father cynically.

His father smiled and patted – patting his son's shoulder.

“Happy – happy” he said ending talks.

Kawaki heads to a bathhouse, takes off his clothes and enters a pool of warm water. A puff of water vapor filled the room, on which the dragon-patched back rested on the edge of the pool wall.

He remembered every scene of himself with Chiyo, how haughty he kept fighting and struggling when he was being bullied. Then he compared it to Yoshiko who was met last time. He felt that he was meeting the same person.

Asahi knocking door from outside, “TOK..TOK...TOK!!!”.

“Come” said Kawaki who woke up from his daydream.

“Young master I've been investigating miss Naoko Kobayashi”.

“Lantas what you found”.

“Nona Naoko Kobayashi has a sister named Yoshiko Kobayashi, but in 2002 found the body of a small child in the remaining debris – buildings that have been burned where it is suspected is his sister. The body is in the form of a bone that has not been identified by the police.

The odd thing is that Miss Yoshiko joined together one year ago, coinciding with the disappearance of Miss Chiyo from Hokkaido. We got this from the security apartment. Naoko makes a pact with Hayami at the apartment to talk about Yoshiko with dinner together. Upon their arrival at the apartment, they were surprised to see that there were several people wearing all-black clothes waiting for them inside. As they tried to escape, instantly – masked people hit the heads of both.

In an empty container warehouse near the dock, the two of them sat on the floor with ropes wrapped around their bodies. Kawaki sat on the chair with his hands on his chest staring at the two who were still fainting.

“BYUUUUURRRRR!!” watered a bucket of water on Hayami and Naoko who sat side by side.

Awake the two and look at each other, begin to digest what is around him only two masked oni people standing on the right – left.

Kawaki who was wearing a mask and a black hat stared at the two sharply.

“Where am I?” ask Hayami.

“What's our fault, until we are treated like this” Naoko protests.

“You guys are so noisy, that mouthpiece is men!” kawaki's orders.

One of his men then gagged Hayami's mouth using a cloth.

“Remove that man to another warehouse” added Kawaki, then one of his men dragged Hayami away.

“Do not do anything to him” ask Naoko who is staring at Hayami in drag out.

“Calm down, he's not my target. But it could be affected because you” explained Kawaki.

“What do you want from me?” ask Naoko.

“Where is Chiyo you hiding?” ask Kawaki back.

“I don't know who Chiyo” is Naoko replied.

Kawaki's men instantly slapped hard on Naoko's face “PLAAAKKKK!!!”.

Kawaki walked over to Naoko then grabbed Naoko's hair and pulled it so Naoko looked up at Kawaki's face.

“What do you mean?”.

“You still want to play fiercer than this, or want to see your lover's hand dipped in hot lead. In order not to be able to brew coffee again”.

“I beg you not to hurt him, really he does not know anything”.

“Hit this woman's leg, so she can't escape like her fake sister”.

“I beg you not to torture me, I really do not know where Yoshiko” is.

“So you confirmed Yoshiko is your fake sister?”.

Naoko did not answer, immediately Kawaki's men forcefully pulled his leg and hit him with a steel stick many times – times.

“AAAARRRRGHHH!!” the sound of Naoko's cry broke the silence of the night.

Hayami, who was in the dark container warehouse, heard that she could only be sad because she could not do anything.

The pain was so overwhelming that Naoko felt, until she finally fainted.

Second day of confinement..

Naoko was doused with a bucket of sea water, she woke up limp.

Kawaki is busy checking Naoko's cell phone, Nemo standing next to her.

“Have you messed up the IP?” ask Kawaki.

“The phone is no longer traceable, we can use it without anyone can track our location now” said Nemo.

“You will not meet Yoshiko, she has left Tokyo” said Naoko who was lying limp on the floor.

“Yoshiko your sister was dead 1999, her body was found in 2002. While your fake sister she is mine, I will get her back” explained Kawaki.

“No...my sister is still alive, she wrote her departure letter along with other men living happily” Naoko added.

Naoko's words provoke Kawaki's anger, and Kawaki kicks Naoko's body.

Kawaki stomped on Naoko's middle chest with a flat face he said “He's not a mop@cur like your mother or you. He just played with me, owh even the hot nights we enjoyed last time. Did you teach him to do that? I am so grateful to have made me enjoy it. Although I hate the smell of her perfume”.

“Although my blood is from a mop@cur but I am not as sad as you are never loved, until you look for a woman with despair” Naoko said boldly.

Kawaki went silent picking up the small knife in his pocket, then scraping Naoko's face “SREEETTT”.

“What did you do to my face?!” naoko protested with her right face bleeding.

“It is better that you live with the defect more interesting than you die, you will feel eternal despair until you want to end your own life” Kawaki said smiling sarcastically.

He walked back to sit enjoying the moans of Naoko who was beaten by his men. Enju came to Kawaki “We have searched the apartment, there is no clue just this piece of paper that is there”. Enju delivers Chiyo's letter to Naoko.

Kawaki read it then smiled cynically “So this couple of two lovebirds is planning to get married? Exciting news, the bride was paralyzed with scars on her face. So what about the groom? Hmmm... interesting, castrate her as her second wedding gift from me”.

Enju bowed his head and rushed to the next container warehouse ordering his two men to execute Hayami. A tragedy that neither of them will forget Hayami screamed in pain while being castrated forcibly, until the total weapons he had were cut off.

The dawn had arrived, both of them were drowning helplessly in a roadside dump far from Tokyo. They drooped in a bush – in the middle of darkness, until finally a few hours later found a vegetable truck driver and took them to the hospital.

Kawaki is squeezing the paper Chiyo wrote and throwing it into the corner of her room. He stared at photo – photos of Chiyo taken from Naoko's mobile phone gallery.

“You were outwitting me at the time, no matter how I found you. Chiyo..”.
