Ishara

Ishara

"Bye, bye."

"See you tomorrow" said the farewells of three teenagers who had just returned from school.

They were First High School students and had just entered the 2nd grade.

The three of them lived in a village that was on a mountain with different locations, they always gathered in a hut to study together.

That day the boy named Ishara came home early because his older cousin picked him up as they were engrossed in discussions.

"Why are you in such a hurry to pick me up?" Ishara asked as she developed the steps of her brother.

"There's something your mother wants to talk about about your school."

"What?" Ask Ishara again.

"Why did mom come back? Doesn't he not want to live with me anymore? I'm not going home!" ishara then stopped his steps in the middle of the highway.

Her cousin's sister stopped and they were 4 steps away from Ishara standing. "Oh come on Hara! It's for your own good" said his cousin.

"I don't want to, just tid-"

Brak!

"Mahira!" Shouted Ishara's vaguely sounding cousin sister.

Tut .. tut ...

...----------------...

Hah .. hah .. hah .. hah .. hah ..

The slightly decapitated breath made it difficult for Ishara to breathe properly.

"What'sthis? Damnit damnit! Why am I running?" he said to himself.

"Then ... Where's this?"

Ishara is trapped in a forest that she herself does not know which direction she should take.

But his grandmother once said, "if one day you're stuck in a jungle, then look for a stream and then you follow it."

"What's the use for oma?" Ask Ishara.

"The use is to find residential residents because along the flow of water will definitely meet with the houses of residents."

"If you don't find water?"

"Follow the direction of sunset, and you'll know the direction of home. But you have to be careful because if you're too focused on the sun you're definitely not seeing the way."

"Other than the sun there's more oma?" Ishara asked curiously.

"There was. Look for moss on a large tree. Then look at the direction, if there's no knee next to the tree, then that could be your way home."

"Oh so."

...~▪︎~...

"Yes, the river's right, I have to look for it."

Ishara walks through the forest looking at the trees around her, looking up at the sky but strangely, "why is the sun not visible at all?" said it.

Ishara thought it was getting late because the sun did not appear in the sky at all.

"I must quickly find a way out!"

Ishara started running a little to get out of the jungle but when she started hearing splashing water, Ishara suddenly slipped on the downhill road.

So Ishara's legs sprained and the journey was slightly slowed. Until 3 hours passed, Ishara arrived at the river bank that she heard earlier.

"Damn! How am I supposed to get down this cliff?"

Ishara lamented and sat on a large rock beside the river.

"What the fuck is this why I got here? Wasn't I studying with Nino and Deva?! Why am I in the middle of the forest?"

Ishara muttered to herself as she threw the pebbles around the boulder.

Plup!

Plup!

"I'm hungry, I want to go home" Ishara said as she held onto her stomach which had started to sound.

"Oh yes said the grandmother of the deepest part of the banana can be eaten. Then I'll find a banana tree near here."

Ishara began to rise from her seat. Slowly but surely he went down the big rocks to get to the river bank.

"Awh! Why don't these legs heal, my God!" as he said when he came down.

Map ... tap .. tap ...

Bruk!

Ishara fell down again because her legs were still sprained and slowly she got back up while propping herself up on a rock.

"What's that?" Ishara asked as she stared at the road at the end.

Ishara sees a different bright light than usual and Ishara thinks, "that must be the way out of the house, just as Oma said."

Ishara walked up to the light behind the thorny bushes with her cleft feet.

When he was about to open the bushes with wooden twigs, suddenly the light grew and was very, very blinding to the eyes.

Bruk!

"Eh?" Ishara wondered why she could sit in this vast expanse of green.

"Very beautiful. But that one? That?" Ishara asked as she turned her body back hoping that the jungle was still behind her.

But alas, the jungle he passed by was not there at all. Not even one leaf remained there.

Ishara sees only green fields and small hills surrounding it. In the wind, the wind was very strong, making himself a little cold.

No!

'Isn't this the tree branch I used to open the bush?' Ishara asked herself.

'Means only the stuff I brought with me is left here. Then my legs?'

Ishara kicked the sprained leg earlier by jumping and rolling around but nothing hurt in the leg.

"Is this magic? Why don't my legs hurt at all?"

"Wouldn't that light be the antidote to my sick foot ta-" Ishara said when she heard the sound of people whipping from the East.

"Oi! It's noisy!"

"Eh? Wh-who's that? ishara said, looking left and right."

"Me! Why are you so noisy? You're disturbing my sleep you know!" said someone who started showing his body.

'What? She a little girl? How could he be in a place like this as well?' Inner Ishara.

"No need to ask me how I got here." That person suddenly answered Ishara's inner question.

Ishara immediately covered her ears with both hands, then changed to cover her mouth, then changed again to cover her stomach.

"W-how did you know I was talking like that?"

"You're too noisy. Come with me!" say this little girl.

"What's your name?" Ask the girl.

"I ... Ish-" Ishara's words are cut off when she remembers Oma's dearest words.

'Never give your full name to Hara. Give Hara's name to others so that they don't misuse your name later.'

"Isa? Your name's Ish?" Ask the girl.

"Bu-not!" says Ishara a little confused should explain how.

"I .. I'm Hara. Then your name?"

"Mrs."

"Let's? Just one word?" Ask Ishara wonder.

"Just like your name!" the short answer from Nei makes Ishara's heart pierced.

Hara and Nei continue to travel to a place but Hara herself does not know what this place is.

"May?"

"Hmm?"

"I want to ask you what place is this?"

"Don't you know?" Ask Nei again to Hara.

"No and nothing."

"How did you find this place?" Ask Nei.

"So I ...." Hara or Ishara explained the strange events that occurred almost all day.

And the answer Nei gave made Hara very surprised because this was the first time someone called her by the word, "Stupid!"

"Stupid? Stupid how?" Ask Hara.

"Try to think for yourself."

Again Hara did not find an answer to her question.
