INARA

INARA
50. Pendrive (End)

"Let's go for a walk" asked Danish to bring two tickets and bring a bodyguard to guard Inara.

...That afternoon we left the boarding house in Inara to go to my favorite place. Inara really likes the view of the sky in the afternoon. The afternoon sky is like medicine for Inara . A slick blend of colors, capable of shedding all my troubles. Yes, although temporary. On arrival Inara and Danish there I went straight to the favorite spotUnfortunately, the spot was occupied by someone.

It was the best spot to see the sky and dusk clearly. I've arrived here, so whatever the story is, I still have to look at the twilight sky. After all, this is a public place .

...

If you have arrived in Bandung, it is incomplete if you do not visit Jalan Braga. Jalan Braga is one of the main roads in Bandung. The name of this road is very famous since the reign of the Dutch East Indies. Until now the name of the road is still maintained as one of the mascots and attractions of Bandung City which is famous for the term Paris van Java.

initially, Braga Street was a small road in front of the settlement that was quiet enough to be called Jalan Culik because it was quite vulnerable. The street was also known as Pedati (Pedatiweg) in the 1900s. Braga Street then became crowded because many entrepreneurs, especially Dutch, established shops, bars and entertainment in the area.

From the 1920s to the 1930s came clothing stores and boutiques that took the model from the City of Paris, France, which was then a mecca of clothing models in the world. The construction of the Societeit Concordia building was used for meetings of Bandung residents, especially among wealthy masters, Hotel Savoy Homann, office buildings and others in several blocks around this road also increase its fame and crowds.

But the bad side is the emergence of night entertainment and red light areas (lit areas) in this region that make Braga Street very well known to tourists. From here the term Bandung city as a city of flowers began to be known. So that the Bandung community association at that time made leaflets and announcements so that "The Tourist Lords should not visit Bandung if they do not bring their wives or leave their wives at home".

People say, the streets to Braga Street is most fun at night. The lights along the street and the architecture of the building bring the sensations of the past to mind. But make no mistake, down Braga Street during the day is also no less exciting especially the weather is not too hot due to thin clouds adorning the sky, as we did last afternoon.

We slowly tracked down Braga Street. One-by-one old building caught sight. The buildings of the colonial era are still firmly standing and look beautiful because they are well maintained. The 'tempo doeloe' style lights are almost in front of all the buildings. Even ontel bikes with antique shapes can be found on Braga Street! Not to mention that Braga Street is not made of asphalt but rather a kind of rectangular-shaped stones. Very interesting indeed this one path.

" Inara, thank you for receiving my love "pinta Danish

"Inara also thanks that brother Danish always with Inara "

Danish did not stop curling her smile.

What else is found on Braga Street besides buildings with architecture, lights and atmosphere of the past? Lots! On Jalan Braga there are many cafes (some cafes serve a semi-outdoor atmosphere), bakeries, souvenir shops, banks, to Sundanese cuisine stalls. Along the sidewalk we also met with the image hunters (photographers) and painters! Paintings of various streams, colors, shapes and times, are exhibited along the way and become a tourist attraction in Braga.

Day walks on Jalan Braga are delicious. Step by step was not felt until we almost arrived at the end of this famous road. Satisfied it can walk down Braga Street, capture objects and capture them with a camera.
