“I want to pass the outer corridor.” I proposed to Thierry when I was about to head to the dining room in the main building.

“Didn't you usually complain too far even though we passed the corridor inside. Now you even want to rotate through the outside?” Thierry asked me about my decision.

“After a week just lying in bed, isn't walking far enough a good sport for me?” I easily gave a reasonable reason.

But, the real reason was so that I could find out the structure of the building and my work in the palace.

During this week, Chiara must have often discussed his self-help agency with Thierry. The original story's initial conflict was when Arabella ransacked Chiara's institution while Thierry served as his supervisor.

There are still many things I have to do before jumping into the main plot as an antagonist.

Thierry considered my decision unchanged, to the point that he agreed to my suggestion and offered me his arm again.

Along the way I stole a glance left and right, observing the magnificent buildings of Beryl Palace. In fact, the palace where Arabella lived was not the main palace like Thierry or the king's concubines.

Based on its importance, Beryl Palace was only in the 8th tier of the 9 palaces in the Diamant Kingdom. One level higher than the Emerald Palace, where usually banquets and royal events are held.

The Beryl Palace where Arabella lived was an open-air palace. In addition to taking care of the passing of the regional leader in charge of noble events, this palace also has outer corridors that connect all parts of the palace.

Hortensia parks and Arabella residences are on the left wing, while the right wing is arguably part of the royal affairs office. The main building in the middle contains public spaces such as the library and the main dining room.

While still engrossed in the scenery, my gaze was suddenly moved by the figure of the woman who was at odds with us. His small body was overwhelmed with the pile of files he was holding.

“Lady Chiara?” Thierry called the woman. I blinked my eyes. Chiara's? Why is he here?

“All Glory and Virtue to the Diamond Kingdom Gem,” Chiara immediately forgot his files and immediately said a respectful greeting towards Thierry. Still with a look down Chiara then introduced herself towards me.

“Good afternoon Miss Arabella. I am Chiara de Laiben. Single daughter of Baron of Laiben. I heard Miss had a rough week. Glad to see Miss back healthy.” Chiara politely greeted me.

For a moment I was stunned, her beauty was incredible. He really looked like Snow White! Even with his iconic short hair.

In this era, it was rare for a noble princess to have short hair, but, Chiara with her oval face and blue eyes actually looked suitable. His body, which is smaller than Arabella's, looks fragile.

“Did rumors about my health get spread so far?” However, that compliment will never come out of my mouth as Arabella. I looked at Chiara, as if I had never met her.

“I met several times with Lady Chiara to discuss the self-help agency she wanted to establish.” I glanced at Thierry, as if asking, then what does this have to do with me?

Thierry returned my gaze and brought his head closer, “Lady Chiara should have also met you to start surveillance.”

Huh huh? So should Arabella be watching Chiara? Not Thierry? I squinted my forehead. Has my memory of the original story gone awry? I forgot there was this part.

“Isn't it your business from the beginning?” I asked Thierry. Trying to find a clue.

The Sapphire Palace where Thierry lived as crown prince presided over many palaces, and, one of them, for the welfare of the people. That's why in the story they often meet.

“Lady Chiara still remains a noble. Therefore he must still submit the surveillance file to your palace.” Thierry asked Chiara for a document and gave it to me. It is similar to a proposal request.

Is it because in the story ‘My Chiara’ Thierry has put feelings with Chiara so that it can pass this stage?  But, looking at the way they are now, I don't see any sign that Thierry and Chiara have been getting any closer over the past week.

What makes the story different now?

Until the last sheet of the proposal, I still could not find the answer. I looked at Chiara, her gentle expression biased with my face. Moreover, his passionate personality and do all things with a sincere heart.

Neither me nor Arabella would match this kind of positive energy. I don't know why I got so upset seeing that innocent face.

“I can't take care of it.” I'm handing the file over to Thierry. I really don't want to take care of it.

After all, if the original story had changed a bit, I would have just put it back on track. Arabella, who refused to help, will surely trigger Thierry to apply to become a supervisor.

“Arabella and I will talk about it further once your file is taken care of according to procedure.” Thierry answered stiffly. Immediately I felt his cold expression hold a doubt.

“Good Your Majesty, thank you for the help. I am withdrawing. All Glory and Virtue on the Royal Gem Diamant.” Chiara lowered her head while greeting. Then, he just left.

“I don't want to discuss work on the first day you recover.” Thierry relaxed again as Chiara moved away.

“How did you not mention my abandoned job this week?” I looked at Thierry in confusion. Demand more explanation. Lost my interest in looking at the palace.

“I'm not serious. But it turns out that there are only bugs.” Thierry's voice sounded annoyed. His mind was like piquing something.

I looked at Thierry's face, the more fixed it was, the more I recognized that expression. The look on his face showed curiosity mixed with ego.

I didn't forget the original story. Because, it was Thierry's initial impression upon meeting Chiara at the Spring Banquet.

What happened that was missed until their relationship stopped like this?

“Thierry?” I'm trying to figure it out. “Have I met Miss Chiara before?”

Supposedly, the character Arabella only met once with Chiara, which is in front of the balcony. Their second meeting will take place much later, when Thierry begins to become a superintendent at the Chiara self-help agency.

“I don't think yet. I also met him for the first time on supper night. Looks like you've gone home first because of a fever.”

That's her! That's what was missed. The three of them did not meet on the night after the banquet. Thierry also did not spend the night with Arabella so his feelings for Chiara did not develop.

The incident was considered in the original story to erase Thierry's curiosity to Chiara. But, because now the point of view of the antagonist, it could be that this is the plot point that must be achieved for the story to continue.

“Arabella. Lunch is ready.” Suddenly we were at the dining room door. Beautiful ornaments and paintings greeted me in the room.

The smell of flesh bursting out made my empty stomach churn. But I no longer have any appetite.

I sighed, my story of being an antagonist turned out to be more complicated than what appeared in the novel.
