34. What Should We Do?

For some reason, every time Eric had the intention to call Anna's mobile number given by Susi the other day, his intention was undone because he felt unable to accept the fact that in the end Anna had completely forgotten and did not want to reconcile with him even though Susi always assured that his wife was still in love and certainly also want to re-refer.

Today he did not enter the office because there was a vacation together. This opportunity was used to help his father at the stall serve the customers.

Suddenly there was the sound of footsteps approaching, making Yura immediately grab the phone from Felyn's hand and turn off. Felyn wanted to protest Yura's attitude but Yura's index finger was already on her lips as a condition for silence. Finally he obeyed Yura even though his heart wondered because it did not understand.

Apparently Anna who came because she wanted to take Felyn to the Mall and all asked Yura to keep the store.

Last night Anna had promised her son to take her for a walk in the Mall. They left immediately after Felyn changed her clothes.

"Now you can ask for anything to buy Mama but the goods are not too expensive!" anna said to Felyn when they had arrived at the Mall.

Felyn just kept quiet and likened her steps to the steps of her mother holding her hand. He was thinking about his father so that he did not focus on his mother's words.

It has been almost an hour both of them traverse the hallway with various types of sales but none of them attract the heart of Felyn.

"We're going home, yuk!" said Felyn who was less excited.

"Every night you said to Mama that you want to buy toys in the Mall. Well, now that we're here, the cuisine wants to go straight home while we haven't bought anything yet?" refute Anna with a slightly disappointed face.

"Sorry Ma, I'm not buying now!" felyn said while tugging at her mother's hand.

Anna followed her son's will even though he felt something was strange, even when invited to enjoy a cold drink before returning home he refused too, so they went home without bringing anything.

Mr. Nico and Nadia's mother were thrilled to see Anna who was already excited.

"Hopefully she can forget her ex-husband" Nadia's mother said as she poured warm coffee into the glass on the table.

"What's wrong with her, Mom?" ask Nadia's mother.

"The last few days I've noticed, his face has always been grim and every time I shuttle to school, it seems like he's lacking in excitement." Mr. Nico explained in seriousness.

Both silent. Actually Nadia's mother also realized this but she was confused to do. He knew that his grandson must have longed for the affection of his father, while his father was already someone else's.

There was a desire to offer Anna to find a man who could be a substitute father for Felyn but it felt inappropriate. Many things are taken care of by Nadia's mother, let alone seeing her son who has begun to change a lot.

The next day Flynn accidentally did not want to wake up as usual. He was reluctant to go to school because he was lazy to hear his friends who always boast of his father who will come to accompany him on the day of farewell.

"Today I'm not going to school, Ma!" felyn said as she pulled the blanket over her head.

"No way to dong!" Let's get up, Mama's gonna take you to school!" talk to Anna again.

"No, if I say no, no! I want to go to school with my dad, like the rest of my friends!" felyn exclaimed in a counterintuitive tone making her mother shocked. This time he heard his son speak loudly.

Not long after, Mr. Nico appeared at the door. He was ready to take his granddaughter to school as his daily routine.

Seeing his grandson who was still wrapped in a blanket, he was astonished.

"Opa's grandson is sick again?"

"No, Opa! I don't want to go to school if it's not papa interracial,"

Mr. Nico and Anna looked at each other.

"What should we do?" ask Mr. Nico after arriving in the kitchen. She gave Anna the code to leave the room and let her granddaughter stay alone. He also did not want to force his granddaughter to go to school.

"I'm also confused, Dad," Anna replied with a sad face. He felt the prestige of contacting Eric.

"We could have called Eric to come to attend his son's farewell but it's a problem if his wife doesn't allow it" Nadia's mother said.

"My friend said Eric hasn't been married since I lived here" Anna said, giving her parents a look at each other.

"Correct?" said Mr. Nico and Nadia's mother almost simultaneously.

Anna nodded. Mr. Nico asks for Susi's number to Anna and speaks via mobile phone. He became curious about Anna's words so desperate to contact the number given by his son.

Mr. Nico's face looked disappointed because he had twice made the call but there was no answer. The number contacted is active but not raised.

"Maybe he was at work so as not to answer," said Anna gave an explanation to see her father who was upset. Especially after hearing his wife say that Flyn does not want to wake up for breakfast.

"If by noon my phone is not picked up then I will go to town A to meet Eric directly" said Mr. Nico seriously.

Mr. Nico does not want his grandson to dissolve in sadness because it can have a negative impact on his growth and development later.
