“Why is it still there?” Psyche patted the empty bench next to her. “Come, sit.”

Adam took a breath. His reddened face held back the annoyance that almost reached the crown. “It turns out a place like this that you want to go to?” He said while sitting next to Psyche with ogah-ogahan. “If you want to eat ramyeon mending at your place only.”

He was still upset with the woman for her clothes, and now grew annoyed with the ramyeon shop stall that Psyche recommended. She is obsessed with Korean food.

For God's sake he could buy Psyche a decent meal from a more decent place.

And like a fool, he could do nothing but sit beside the woman who was now ordering her food to a servant.

“What do you want Adam?” Psyche glanced at him enthusiastically, as if ignoring the man's expression. His hair was tied high because his neck was sweating. Of course, this store does not have air conditioning like a fancy restaurant.

“Do I have a choice?” Adam replied in a fierce tone. “Just be with you.”

“Good. Please two servings of ramyeon and one boiled dumpling, yes.”

The waiter smiled clumsyly as he again recorded the order. The man's face was inversely proportional to his attitude.

Psyche turned her attention to Adam as the maid passed by. The man was playing with a bored face. His feet seemed to be tapping on the floor, as if he could not wait to get out of the place.

“You're not happy I brought here because the food is cheap?”

Adam raised his head and clucked. “There are many factors, besides that the place is also hot.”

The man did not even think that the owner of this tavern might have heard his words.

“So you want to go home?“ Fresh Psyche kalem.

Adam laughed blandly. I don't understand the woman's mind. Offering to go home even after he ordered food?!

“You really—“

“Psyche?”

The two of them both turned to the white-haired man who looked at them with a surprised look.

Of course, it was surprising to see the man in the black shirt who accompanied Psyche in an unexpected place like this.

Psyche blinked, briefly glancing at Adam with the tail of her eyes. “Leon?”

The gazes of the two dark eyeballs sharpened. Leads to Psyche who just said the name of someone who almost made the relationship both ended in the middle of the road.

How intriguing. They finally met in person.

But unlike Psyche, he was more interested in the figure of a woman standing behind the white-haired man's shoulder.

“Why Leo—eh? Adam?”

This time they were stunned.

The pink-haired lady is really good at making surprises.

Psyche is completely inexhaustible, why Leon could be involved with the woman. As he remembered Leon was still busy with cafes and his ideals to become a reliable barista—certain after Psyche had rejected his love confession.

That guy must be popular. But Miranda is not someone Psyche imagined could be with Leon.

He did not hate that woman. But, Psyche's closeness with the people around her sometimes makes her jealous.

“So you guys dated?”

Psyche knows now that Adam and Miranda have something in common.

For example, when they talk without awkwardness and doubt. Straight to the core and so honest that sometimes offend his opponent.

“As you can see.” Adam replied calmly before Psyche made a sound.

They can't avoid it anymore. Psyche certainly knows exactly how Adam was, so it's free to lie to him on the grounds that— just so happened to meet in store—or the others.

“I've been suspicious of both of you. Especially to Adam who was always busy when I took off.”

This is a risk if they hide their relationship from people, especially office colleagues. It was really hard to choose between letting them know it—for the loss of the bullies Adam—or keeping it a secret and letting Adam be teased by other women.

“And the same thing happened to you, Miranda?” Adam glanced at Leon who was busy spending his ramyeon without a care for the sharp glare that was pointing at him.

“We're just friends, that's it.”

Adam nodded without interest. “Oh. I've expected.”

Psyche snorted at the conversation of the two people. Usually he will spend a bowl of ramyeon he ordered until the sauce is not left. But what happened now was that his appetite just disappeared.

Or still? I don't know...

Adam began to realize that Psyche became more reserved while occasionally sipping her drink. Like the white-haired man as well, both of them compactly chose the silence. Though as he remembered the man had sent a message that was so warm to Psyche. Of course the part of asking him to watch was the thing he underlined.

“Why shut up, Psyche? Isn't your best friend here?”

The lady with the bangs looked up. His gaze cluttered with Leon who both raised his head after Adam pressed the word ‘sahabat’ in his speech.

Miranda's eyebrows shot up, then the woman chuckled softly. “It turns out the world is very narrow, yes,” he said while twirling straws in a glass. “It's worth Leon looking surprised when he meets your lover, Adam.”

Unlike Miranda who seemed to be ignoring her, Psyche took the courage to directly look at the woman with her flat gaze.

“And why do you look surprised to find Adam with me, Senior?” The two different colored beads meet. “Did you not expect that Adam was dating his subordinates or because I was dating someone who was once your lover?”

Psyche realized that the three people were currently staring at her.

Adam was about to commemorate Psyche when Miranda first interrupted with a grin on her lips. “Wah...wah..gossip where is it?” His eyes were moving towards Adam. “We've never dated, Adam?”

Leon rubbed his nape and sighed softly. This tense atmosphere was extremely troublesome. He saw how the two women looked at each other and saw how Adam looked at one of them with hardened jaws.

This time Leon has no choice but to find safety. And for Miranda's problem he could ask for Psyche's explanation later.

The man cleared his throat slowly while pushing the chair. “I'm done. What about you, Miranda? Still want to be here or go with me?”

.

.

.

“Are you crazy?!”

Psyche folded her hands together while leaning her body against the chair. His gaze was straight forward, whereas Adam gave a gaze as if he wanted to destroy it right then and there.

“What did you say to Miranda, huh?! Intentionally looking for trouble?!”

Psyche.

“Jawab, s*alan!”

It's over. Psyche can't be patient anymore.

“I just asked him, wrong?!”

Adam laughed heartily. “Saysay you? What you did was find a problem his name!” loud accusations. “Did you ever think how Miranda could come back to hate you and leak our relationship, hmm?!”

What exactly was the reason Adam made the deal? Is it really up to his professionalism or is it just because he is ashamed of dating his subordinates?

Psyche's breath gasps, holding back the emotions that build up in her chest. The man's words had stripped him of all his pride. “Terden! After all you won't defend me until anytime!”

How could Miranda so casually say that the woman had once taken her lover away several times?! They also often come into intimate contact in public.

“Why should I defend you?!” Adam's hand turned white because he was holding the wheel too strong. “Obviously you're wrong here—oh are you not jealous to see that white guy with Miranda?!"

“I'm jealous to see you with him, b*jerk!” Her tears were unstoppable again. “When I do everything for you I'm still lacking in your eyes! I never asked you to be what I wanted to be! You are always free to say what you want to say! But I can't even say what I want to say! You are selfish! You can just be casual with other women and be arbitrary with me!”

“Then don't have to date me.” Adam answered coldly. “Just look for another man—the unselfish one!”

Psyche. Adam had no intention of keeping him and instead asked to separate as the man often did.

Wh why? He knew Adam had feelings for him...

“Is that what you want?” Psyche smiled bitterly among the growing melts of tears. “Alright..” said as he rubbed his tears violently. “Because you keep asking I will fulfill this time. Anyway I'm tired of chasing men who can't love me.”

Adam stopped his car. The man's expression was indecipherable but Psyche could feel an aura that made it hard to swallow.

“Down.” Later orders. Cold and firm.

Psyche already suspected that Adam could do anything when the man was angry. But he himself also did not want to hold anything back anymore. The more he was held back, the more the emotions in his chest tightened him.

Without saying anything, he removed his seatbelt and got out of Adam's car after violently closing the door.

The man's car in an instant disappeared, joining together another vehicle that began to blur in his sight.

Is this really over, Adam?
