"Kink..."
Kinno. He looked at all his friends. Since the night of the meeting with the old grandmother, he had always been overshadowed by the figure.
"How are we doing our training?"
Kinno did not answer. He immediately released his apron, hurriedly left the school kitchen, headed for his car.
If it was true what the old grandmother said -- that 'he' was still alive. There will be at least one clue that he might find in the orphanage building, which now only remains the foundation.
Kinno parked his car in front of a building that looked like it was no longer a building.
There was no high solid wall around it. There are no more rooftops and angsana trees and big banyan.
There are only remnants from a great fire many years ago.
Kinno looked at the foundation in the middle of the weeds and shrubs. He recalled when a flip-flop landed right on his head. And a skinny boy ran from the inside of the building with tears in his eyes.
'Why are you crying?!'
'No. I'm not crying!'Answer the skinny boy.
'Did they pick you up again?'
'You mustn't be ignorant, fat boy!'
'Huh!! My name is Kinno! Not a fat boy!'
A cold wind slowly blew on his face. That happened years ago. If it was true that the figure was still alive, would he recognize it?
Kinno took a step forward. Then he crouched down and scratched the sandy soil in front of him, with his fingers.
His mind again tried to rotate, anything he had been through before, with the figure.
'Do you know Kinno, if we can break through to the core of the earth..!?'
'What's up there?'
'There's a candy empire equal to chocolate.'
"Kinno?"
"What are you doing here?"
Kinno shrugged his shoulders. "Suddenly I'm coming here, Om."
"I thought you were still at school.." The man gave it to Kinno's car.
"Om Anthony himself -- what are you doing?"
The man who greeted him was Anthony Grooberry.
"Just want to let go of longing and guilt." Anthony Grooberry throws a wry smile. "If only time could be turned back. And Om would be willing to exchange it for half the life Om has.." The man looked far ahead.
But still, time cannot be replayed. How could someone who had died be brought back to life...?
Kinno rubbed his palms together. The more the afternoon, the weather feels even colder.
But he felt, he was still reluctant to move from his position.
"What would Om do if William was still alive?"
Anthony took a breath. His eyes looked far away. "Is it possible that he could have survived the great blaze?"
Kinno only commented on a faint smile. "I'm first, Om."
Anthony got a little out of Kinno's car. Leave room for the teenager to open the car door.
"Kink..." Anthony's voice sounded soft and heavy. Once again, he sighed while staring fixedly at the teenager.
"Yes..?"
"Have you persuaded Dafa to return?"
Kinno shook his head weakly. "I'm still trying, Om.."
Either way, he would persuade Dafa to return to school. As for him alone, he could not forget the look and expression of hatred that Dafa showed at that time.
'If only you were alive, maybe only you could help me out of this...'
