11. The Vinson Family

Zaki daydreams inside his study. I don't know why his mind couldn't concentrate today.

Zaki hasn't seen Dira since the failed dinner, and Zaki hasn't been able to get Dira out of his mind since then. There is a sense of unwillingness when hearing Dira say if they should not meet again. When asked why, Zaki himself did not know the answer. Zaki knew it was for the sake of his relationship with Selvi, but deep in his heart he did not accept it.

The sound of the door knocking. Zaki's assistant came in and gave Zaki some files. "Sir, there is a problem with our cooperation project with Vinson Corp" he said.

"What problems? Isn't everything all right?"

"Raw material problems for production. The stock we have is not what Vinson Corp wants and the stock in the market is also sold out. We should talk about this with them."

Zaki. Instead of looking anxious, his lips turned a smile. I don't know why Zaki was happy to hear that. This meant that he had a reason to meet Dira. Although Dira had already told them that they could talk about business matters through their respective assistants, Zaki did not want to obey. Zaki will still meet Dira and discuss the matter directly with her.

"Alright, I'll talk this over with their side" Zaki said.

Dira was busy in his room when suddenly Tia entered without permission.

"What's wrong?"

"There's Mr. Zaki, he wants to see you."

"What business is it? Don't we have no promises?"

"Says there's an important issue to talk about."

"What's the important problem?" muttered Dira guessing, then he finally smiled obliquely. He knew Zaki was already in his trap. If Zaki really wants to keep Selvi feeling, of course Zaki will not see him again whatever the reason.

"Yes already, please enter," said Dira in the end.

Tia nodded and let Zaki in.

"Hi Dira," Zaki said as soon as he entered Dira's room.

"What's the matter Zaki? Is it that important until you have to see me?"

Zaki was stunned to hear Dira's question which he thought was a little unpleasant to hear.

"Sorry, I'm just worried Selvi misunderstood me again. It is actually very unprofessional to bring personal problems to the work environment. But Selvi never worked her whole life. So, maybe he won't understand it" Dira continued.

"I'm sorry about that but take it easy, me and Selvi are no longer a problem. I guarantee that he won't misunderstand again after this" replied Zaki.

"You sure?"

Zaki nodded.

"I'm glad to hear that. All right, please sit." Dira gives her sweet smile to Zaki and it makes Zaki even more clueless as to what he is currently feeling. He seemed to get a new spirit just by looking at Dira's face. His love for Selvi is still the same as before, but Dira is like stealing something from his heart that he cannot express.

Then Zaki began to tell Dira the problem and Dira took it seriously. But only Dira looks serious because Zaki is more serious about paying attention to Dira's face than the problem they are talking about. Yes, Zaki increasingly admired Dira, both from his face and attitude. Dira is graceful and independent, in contrast to Selvi who is spoiled and always depends on him.

I don't think they've talked long enough. The problems they faced still did not find a common ground. Inevitably they would have to meet again to talk about this matter.

"I will wait for the certainty of your company. If indeed there is no stock of materials that are in accordance with the standards of my company, there may need to be a re-discussion," said Dira closed his meeting with Zaki.

Zaki did not answer. He just daydreamed while continuing to look at Dira. "Zaki, you hear me?"

"Is there anything else you want to talk about?" tanya Dira looked at Zaki's slightly strange attitude.

"No, that's enough. I have to leave now." Actually Zaki wants to make an appointment with Dira so that tomorrow they can meet again, but he does not have a proper reason.

Dira nodded. "Oh, about my gift to Selvi. I haven't changed it yet because I'm too busy. But I'll try to do it quickly."

"I really appreciate your intention but it's not necessary."

"I beg you not to refuse. Selvi is my old friend." Dira admits Selvi as his friend.

"It's up to you to force it" Zaki replied. Then the man went out from in front of Dira.

Not long after, the door of Dira's room opened again. "What else is Tia?" asked Dira without noticing who was entering because she was already focusing on her laptop.

"You didn't welcome me, Baby?" The voice that had been a few days can only be heard on the phone by Dira again sounded directly in his ear.

"Jeff?" Jeffrey Vinson called him late at night. Dira looked over for a while and then refocused on his laptop. Although a little surprised, Dira was able to hide it.

"That's it?!"

"What do I have to do? Hugged you? Kiss you?!" reply Dira with no expression on her face.

"As well as I can, I won't reject it."

"I'm not your boyfriend Jeff. Find another woman there!" reply Cold.

Jeff laughed at Dira's attitude. "That's my girl!"

Moments later, Elisa Vinson, Jeff's mother. "Hello honey, how are you?"

Dira was a little surprised, then stood up from his seat of greatness to approach Elisha. "Aunty Elisa, why didn't Auntie tell you to come here? I can pick up Auntie," said Dira as she kissed Elisha on the cheek.

"She said she wanted to surprise you" Elisha said as he glanced at Jeff. "Hows it? Has he conquered your heart?" Elisha is obsessed with making Dira his son-in-law, as well as Jeff who is obsessed with making Dira his wife. This child and mother are very compact.

"Why didn't Auntie just ask the company? I can answer that question."

Elisha smiled. "When would you marry Jeff if your mind was just a job?"

"Jeff already has a lot of Aunt's girlfriends, he was confused about which one to marry."

"No, Baby. You're the only one I want to marry" Jeff said. It was hard for Dira to shy away from this talk because she was alone against two people who liked her at will but were very kind to her.

Then I remembered about the restaurant. It was better for him to shift the conversation to another topic than to continue discussing his relationship with Jeff, whereas they had nothing to do with it.

"Tante, I want to use Jeff, is it okay?" Dira was very close to Elisha. He used to attend an internship program at the Elisa company, and once graduated from college Dira was immediately recruited at the company. Because of Dira's excellent work performance, Dira became Elisa's favorite employee, until now. Even to be trusted to manage one of his companies.

"What do you want to take advantage of me Baby? My treasures, my body is all yours, which one do you want?" jeff said without shame even though his mother was there too.

"As much as you love, anything you can do to Jeff. But I prefer if you use him to make offspring," answered Elisha no less absurd than the child.

"Can't you be serious a little bit?" Dira begins to stress facing mother and child.

"Say, what do you want Baby?" jeff said it looked a little serious, just a little.
