Felix Charles: The Lonely Star

Felix Charles: The Lonely Star
|5. IS LOST

*******

"Queen Freyaaa!!!"

The jet-black-haired boy with the green netra shouted loudly making the woman who was sitting looking at the star on the high ground near the magic pond suddenly stand up and approach him in panic.

"What's up, Frank, why are you yelling like that?" Ask.

"That-that's..." Frank pointed towards her back in panic.

"Yes, what is it?" Ask Freya again.

"Frank, can you slow down a bit, I'm tired..." They turned their eyes towards the platinum blonde figure who was leaning under the mapple tree.

"D-dia—"

"Felix" said Freya surprised because it was not expected if Felix could find a way to get here as fast as it could. He walked closer to the boy who closed his eyes followed by Frank, either unconscious or just closing his eyes.

"You know him?" Frank asks the woman next to him, who Felix claims is the mother of the man.

"of course. Speaking of which you just relax, don't be too formal, right, I've said many times," Freya said as she patted Felix's cheek softly to wake the boy up, while Frank only scowled.

Felix who heard the words from the person in front of him slowly opened his eyes and narrowed his eyes when he saw the person who was now in front of him who was like a stranger.

He shook his head quickly, "ah, it must have been a dream" he said, then closed his eyes again.

"HEY!" Frank exclaimed loudly right in his ear making him flinch in shock.

"Frank! Not good like that." Freya pulled Frank's ear slowly. Making the boy show his index and middle fingers the 'peace' sign to Freya while grinning at the horse.

While Felix looked at the beautiful woman in front of him with a look of disbelief, "Mother?"

The woman looked at her son who was currently in front of her with a faint smile.

"Yes?" He said he was still smiling.

"Is this really Mom?" Freya rubbed the child's platinum blonde hair and nodded.

Without further ado she hugged the woman tightly as if she did not want her mother to disappear from her presence. Again.

She doesn't know this is real or not, but she hopes if this is just a dream please don't wake her up like before.

But clearly this was not a dream, from then on he was conscious. Yes, even though he almost fainted from exhaustion chasing after Frank who ran so fast. Whether there was a problem with the boy, he really did not understand, but he had wings why he had to run. If the road is flat maybe he is still able to, while this is the hill.

"Is he really your son, Queen? Why is he so bad? Running for a while was tired," said Frank, shaking his waist, making Felix release his arms and look at him with annoyed eyes. It's delicious he said suck!

"You have power, Frank, and he doesn't" Freya said, shaking her head.

"Oh, yes, Queen. Why doesn't he have wings?" Ask Frank.

"I purposely lost it first. Since he's already here, then I'll give him back," he replied, both men of the same age cheered happily.

"of course! Yes, right, Queen? Well, I can't wait to see your wings, I'll take you around the land of Wynstelle, "he said as he circled in the air and stepped on the ground again, seeing Frank's enthusiasm made Felix nod while smiling.

"Eitts, don't you see it's late at night? We go home and go to sleep" said Freya firmly making the shoulders of the two boys slumped and their enthusiastic faces had turned sour.

"Yahhh."

********

"Usually every night I look at the stars and guess what Mom's face looks like." The boy propped his chin up with his hand while looking at the stars in the sky through a window in a room. He was in a house whose entire wall came from simple-style wood that looked so beautiful with flowers that adorned every corner of the fence, flowers that give off small lights become more beautiful in the dark of the night, like fireflies flying over the petals.

"I didn't think that now I could meet Mom" he said, without taking his eyes off the sky.

"Want to hear a little story?" She turned her head back to see her mother sitting on the edge of the wooden bed, her small steps leading her to the woman.

"Here" said the woman, patting her thigh, making Felix break his body and make his mother's thigh a pillow.

Her mother stroked her hair slowly making her want to cry again, this was what she wanted from a long time ago. Sleep quietly on his mother's lap, without fear of the nightmares that always come to disturb his sleep every night.

"You know why I let you grow up a dozen years without your mom next to you?" Her speech.

"Because the black elf king is after me?" Ask Felix.

Freya smiled faintly and looking at the window of the room that displayed a sprinkling of stars in the sky made Felix follow the direction of his gaze, "that's one of them, that palig is important because I want you to be like them, it can shine on its own without the reflection of light from another celestial object."

"Mom wants you to learn to understand the world alone and not depend on Mom, because your life will be at the most complicated point you can never imagine." His mother's words suddenly made Felix look at the woman.

"This mother can see the future, huh?" Her speech was confused, while Freya just chuckled softly.

"Your guess?" Reply the woman stared at the one currently in her lap.

"I think.can. Because Frank can read my mind, but it's different, but it could be the same, right?" His murmur was unclear, making his mother pinch her own neck.

"You're so funny, you're thirteen but why do you still look so tiny" she said.

"I'm not tiny Mom, even Frank just lost high with me," he replied releasing a pinch of Mom on his cheek, he was even known to be the highest in his class. It's just that his face is like a child, so it's no wonder that he is always said to be like a seven-year-old.

"Yes-yes, but your face is like a baby" Freya said making her snort in annoyance.

"But Mom, why are there so many dandelion flowers? Does this have anything to do with the dandelion flower engraving on the box?" Felix asked, actually not all over the place, just around his mother's house which most of the flowers are dandelion flowers.

"Box? You found the box?" Freya looked at Felix in surprise. Because Felix didn't bring anything.

"Yes, box—" He stopped his words when he realized the box was no longer in his hands. Don't tell me he dropped the box at the border earlier.

He got up and felt his pants and pocket but there was nothing, "mother, the box is gone."

"W-does it not matter if the box was taken by a black fairy..?"
