"Because of you ....
I know what it's like to be left."
- Haruka Humairah
"Sorry, Ka. I need to focus on studying. My values are starting to decline. The principal has given me a warning. If my grades continue to decline, then my student duties will be revoked. You know, I can go to the Blue Generation High School because of student duties" Dion said, holding Haruka's hand, one afternoon while Dion was helping his father sell fried chicken.
Haruka squinted her eyes which were already narrowed. The girl tried to digest Dion's words which she found unusual.
"Create ....?" Haruka waited for Dion to continue his sentence.
Dion took a deep breath as if he was struggling against his feelings. Then he looked at Haruka's face for a moment. In a heavy voice, Dion said, "We'll just end it."
Haruka, who was slow in thinking, thought that Dion's sentence meant to end the conversation. So, he removed his hand from Dion's grasp, and got up from the bench he was sitting on.
Haruka threw her sweetest smile at Dion while tidying up her skirt. Dion was astonished to see Haruka's seemingly ordinary reaction after being decided.
"Are you not angry at all?" Dion's curious.
Haruka frowned. "Why angry?" ask Haruka astonished.
"Yes .., we've been dating since Junior High. So today we broke up. I thought you'd cry or get angry, or ...." Dion stopped his words when he saw Haruka's eyes begin to grow bigger.
"So, what you're saying is you want to break up?" asked Haruka in a rather loud voice.
Dion nodded.
Plaque!
Haruka regained consciousness of his actions and quickly bowed her body towards Dion's father and the buyer.
After that, Haruka looked back at Dion sharply. If with a gaze, one could be killed, then Dion would have died that very second.
"Okay, if that's what you want. Guys are not just you, right. There are still many others and better than you" said Haruka who tried with all her might, holding back her tears from spilling in front of Dion.
After saying so, Haruka immediately left with her frustration and disappointment. How not, his relationship with Dion who had walked exactly 5 years in that day, had to run aground just because Dion wanted to focus on learning.
"So he hasn't been focused on learning? And I'm the one who needs to be wronged?" haruka said as she sobbed in front of her friends.
The stars, Aulya, Ririn, and Vira are fighting to determine who gives their opinion first. The star won.
"Ka, how about I punch Dion in the mouth until it bleeds, or should I break his hand, or his leg, or ...."
"Stop! Stopit! Stop that!" Aulya smothered the mouth of the Star so that her friend would stop talking.
"What the hell?!" exclaim Bintang after removing Aulya's hand from her mouth.
"Violence is not needed to solve the problem of romance," replied Aulya smart-ass.
"Really! Don't let emotions defeat intelligence!" support Vira.
Haruka wiped her tears and then got up from her seat. He looked at the faces of his friends one by one. With complete confidence, Haruka said "I have a better idea." Then he sat down at his friends' side.
"How about we move to Blue Generation High School?" continued Haruka.
"Well!" His friends scream at the same time.
