That voice made Qing Yao and Liu Shan turn their heads forward. They saw a man descending from the top of the stairs by jumping and landing as slowly as he had floated before.

It was a luxurious and extremely classy outfit, in contrast to the clothes of an ordinary cultivator who only wore only cloth. The clothes that the man was wearing exuded a Ki aura that was strong enough to make Liu Shan's attention glared at him.

That man was Sheng Tong. He came up with an arrogant and unkind face standing in front of the two of them. A shriveled forehead and a sharp eye gaze pointed at the two of them, especially at Liu Shan as a disciple in the academy.

“Sheng Tong, it turns out that you are here” Qing Yao said as she tried to maintain her smile

“Of course I'm here. This was the dragon room, a sacred place that held hundreds of scrolls and cultivation records dating back 1000 years. What about yourself? Come up with a newcomer and explain something you shouldn't be talking about?!”

Sheng Tong spoke in an unpleasant tone. Even Liu Shan himself who was glancing towards Qing Yao instantly knew that his smile was just a fake smile to look friendly in front of her.

However, Qing Yao tried to keep her up and introduced Liu Shan to Sheng Tong.

“Ah, This is the disciple I recruited in Feng city, his name is Liu Shan”

A cold gaze and an ice-cold air began to spread throughout the room. Liu Shan and Sheng Tong who were standing right beside Qing Yao were shocked and opened their eyes wide.

Cold sweat and of course a feeling of fear flashed within Sheng Tong's head. Even Liu Shan himself was surprised to see Qing Yao who suddenly let out a threatening chill.  His sharp, cold gaze like that of an ice queen continued to look towards Sheng Tong with a threat implied within.

“Do not equate Liu Shan with Ming Xiao!”

Liu Shan had never seen Qing Yao, the person she had always seen was full of smiles and the aura of a dependable adult woman could make a sinister expression. The cold gaze and also the strong threat made the atmosphere tense as if pressing on the air to difficulty breathing.

However, the thing that caught his attention was someone named Ming Xiao whom the two of them called.

Who her? And what's up with him?

The same question popped up inside Liu Shan's head into a deeper detail like a thirst for information. What had Ming Xiao done and why had the two of them gotten into a dispute? Even Qing Yao herself showed an expression that Liu Shan thought he could not see from someone like her.

While Sheng Tong himself could only be silent and not move an inch after being threatened by him. Qing Yao pulled and lowered her finger as she looked at Sheng Tong who was showing his silent response.

Qing Yao let out a long sigh as if it was filled with unrest within. He looked at meyu towards Liu Shan as he felt guilty.

“Sorry. I so make the atmosphere gloomy like this ..” shrewd Qing Yao.

Silence and no response came from anyone. Sheng Li himself was still stunned silently and felt his neck as if he was checking if there were any scratches from Qing Yao.

However, when they were silent there, suddenly the dragon room gate opened so hard.

The three of them looked in the same direction and saw a man running towards them. He lowered his head and saluted, his voice and face looking frantic as he gave word.

“Greetings to senior Sheng Tong and miss Qing Yao!” said the man.

“Greetings. What's up?” ask Sheng Tong

“Senior, this is critical!” said the man.

“Content yourself. Talk slowly!” sahut Sheng Tong's.

The last sentence the man said made Sheng Tong and Qing Yao open their eyes wide.

“What did you say?!” suhut Sheng Tong was surprised

Liu Shan himself who saw his reaction was so shocked that he became confused. Illness and what exactly happened to make them both stunned like that?

“Disease? What does it mean?” ask Liu Shan.

“There is no time to explain! Take me there!” said Sheng Tong.

“Lewat here, senior!” tell that man.

Sheng Tong ran after the man from behind. While Qing Yao who wanted to catch up turned her head back to look towards Liu Shan.

“Liu Shan, we are there too!”

“Eh, me too?!”

Liu Shan directly followed Qing Yao from behind to catch up with Sheng Tong and also the messenger man.

Legs that step as fast and as strong as possible are not made to lower their speed. Until in a short time, they managed to get to a residence that was so magnificent. Without lingering in front of the front door, they came in and walked through such a large hallway.

A girl lying on the bed was holding the hand of a middle-aged woman who looked like her mother.

“Xiao Lin, survive!” the girl's mother.

That girl was Xiao Lin. Grandson, as well as the young lady from the Xiao family who runs the Liliang academy. However, the condition of Xiao Lin did not look good at all at that moment.

Elder Khan turned his head back and looked towards Sheng Tong.

“Sheng Tong!” sahut elder Khan.

“How are you doing miss?!” asked Sheng Tong who ran into the room with Qing Yao.

Sheng Tong, help my daughter! She kept screaming in pain since earlier, this illness of hers really tormented her!” said Xiao Lin's mother

“I'll do everything I can!” said Sheng Tong.

Sheng Tong immediately stood beside Xiao Lin and placed both of his arms in front of him. His serenely closed eyes began to multiply Ki's energy right in his palm.

And when his eyes opened strongly, Sheng Tong suddenly poured all of Ki's energy into Xiao Lin's body.
