Chapter 21 - EdBell

Slowly, Edbert's work began to be completed. After all her work is done, she will follow Bella to Russia. For 2 weeks they have not met, mutual news is also rare, because they are busy with each other.

"Excuse me, sorry to interrupt your time Sir. I just got a call from the big sir, he said later after work, you go home, there's something to talk about" said Edbert's personal assistant.

"Why not contact me?"

"Say the great master of your phone is off"

Edbert checked his cell phone. He sighed, he forgot that he was turning off his phone. Usually at work, Edbert always turns off his phone. No one will contact him except his beloved wife.

"All right"

After returning home from work, Edbert stopped by the bakery to buy Papi and his Mami favorite bread. For a long time he had not brought bread to his parents, perhaps the last day he brought bread was the time of his Mami's birthday.

Arriving at the residence, Edbert was surprised because there was a foreign car parked in his yard. The car was no less luxurious with his car, it might just be his friend Papi's car.

"Welcome, sir" Welcomed the house assistants

"I'm sorry for my delay" Edbert told his parents

"You're on time" replied Papi

Edbert sat down and looked at the stranger sitting in front of him and beside him. They have three people. Two people were the parents of the woman they were carrying. So it can be concluded that they are Father, Mother, and child.

Ever since both Edbert's parents and the two women's parents spoke, the foreign woman had always watched Edbert secretly. Honestly, Edbert was very uncomfortable with that look, he was eager to berate the woman right now.

"Ehem" Edbert caught Papi's attention

"What business does Papi call me?" Ask Edbert

When Edbert spoke, she always looked at him silently and sometimes smiled to herself.

Edbert who noticed that could only be patient. He hoped to quickly get out of the residence.

"The paper will discuss the cooperation of our company and this uncle"

Upon hearing Papi's remark, Edbert began to seriously listen. He was very happy to work with the company of the stranger, but he was worried that something bad would happen. Not bad for the company, but for the foreign woman. Edbert is afraid that the woman will ruin her and Bella's relationship.

Moments later, Papi had finished discussing cooperation between companies. Edbert bailed out to breathe fresh air, all to avoid the foreign woman. But who would have thought, the woman followed Edbert silently and suddenly hugged Edbert from behind.

"Don't touch me!" Jerking Edbert

"I-I'm sorry, brother. I'm doing this because I like you" said the woman soft-spoken.

"Curtain! You better just go in. Don't bother me!" Jerking Edbert

The woman lowered her head, slowly she let out tears and cried.

"Hix"

Edbert who heard the voice immediately turned his body to face the woman.

This was the woman's chance, so she immediately hugged Edbert tightly and cried on Edbert's body.

"I've been looking for you for a long time. Please accept me and our child. Don't you want to meet our son and marry me to take responsibility? I beg you" The woman begged while crying

"You're the wrong person, I've never been in contact with any woman except my wife" Edbert replied flatly and coldly

The woman hugged Edbert.

"Have you forgotten? You were drunk yesterday and forced me to have a forbidden relationship. When I found out I was pregnant, I wanted an abortion, but the doctor said that if I had an abortion, I would have no more children. Please, marry me. I'm willing to be a second wife, as long as my son can reunite with his father"

Edbert really did not believe in that woman. As he remembered, he had never been in contact with any woman.

"Take me tomorrow to see the boy. I don't believe in talk that has no proof" Edbert said.

The woman took off her embrace and wiped away her tears.

"Thank you, I'm so grateful" said the woman, bowing her head

The two women's parents approached Edbert and his daughter, then he invited his daughter to come home and did not forget to say goodbye to Edbert.

After they had gone far away, Edbert went back inside the house. The atmosphere in the house when strange, like in the cold.

"Sit down!" Say Papi firmly

Edbert already knew what his Papi would talk about.

"Listen to my explanation. I have never had a forbidden relationship with anyone! Even if I had, I would have directly searched for that woman and taken responsibility!" Edbert

"Who is Edbert?! Who?!!" Jerky Papi

The mother who witnessed it could only remain silent. He does not want to side with anyone. For example, if Bella were in that place, what would happen? Mami always think about Bella's feelings, she did not want Bella later in the duakan by Edbert.

"I don't know Pa! I told him to take me tomorrow to see the boy"

"Damn it! If tomorrow that child is your son, what will you do?!"

"I'm..." Edbert didn't know what to answer

"Stupid kid! Don't you think about how Bella and her family feel?! What if they find out about this?! Where are you gonna put Papi Nak's face, where are you going?!"

"Sorry Pi, I don't know what to do either, but I will try to do my best. If it was my son, then I would apologize to Bella and her parents. I'm ready to accept all of it"

"Good! That is your business! Papi and Mami don't want to interfere. Take care of your own business!"

"Yes I know. Then I'll go home first, Pi, Mi"

Edbert quickly left the residence. After arriving at his house, he immediately took a bath and calmed his mind.

What if the kid was Edbert? Will Bella and her parents hate her? Is Bella going to ask for a divorce or something else? Really, Edbert couldn't predict what Bella would say.

But in Edbert's heart, he really loved Bella. No one can replace Bella, not even that woman. Edbert can only hope that the boy is not his son.
