A silent atmosphere enveloped Erick, and Navya who was now sitting on the seat next to her. Although their distance was close, they did not speak for long enough.
Until finally, Navya who as a woman there, started the conversation first, and broke the silence.
"You're cool, it turns out you're a real pinter. Yes, even if you are naughty and like to sleep right again in class hours. I was speechless when I saw your name in the top 3!" said Navya with eyes that look at the sky, and do not forget, with a smile that is always engraved on the face of the angel.
Erick was silent. He did not respond to the words of the woman sitting next to him. Erick just focused on looking at the basketball game that was in front of him at the moment.
"Huft ...." Navya sighed softly, as she was sad Erick was unwilling to respond to her.
Not wanting to drag on in the grief for too long, Navya spoke again, though perhaps Erick would not respond to it again.
"You know, what I don't think about most is when you say you hate math, don't want to learn math, but in fact your math scores are the highest in our generation." Still the same as before, Navya spoke while looking up at the sky.
Navya fell silent again, the smile on her face slowly fading away, as she thought Erick would never want to talk to her again. But, a few minutes later, Erick who had been silent, now wanted to talk.
"That's why I hate math, because I'm more master of something I don't need at all!" With a flat tone of speech, and still reluctant to look at the woman beside him, Erick spoke.
Hearing the words of the man sitting beside her, Navya let out a small laugh. In his heart he said, "A funny excuse!"
"Why don't you need math, Erick? Is mathematics not a very important science? Almost everything in our lives requires calculation, from the small, even to the big!" said Navya, who was actually trying to hold back a laugh.
"Laughter don't get held back, just let go!" said Erick who seemed to be able to hear Navya's inner voice, and knew the small laughter behind the woman's flat face. Erick's words made Navya really very shocked.
"E–don't! I don't want to laugh, l–lagain what to laugh at try?" With a nervous voice, Navya replied to Erick's sentence that had been puffing him earlier.
However, Erick did not seem to care much. For him, wanting Navya to laugh, cry, shock, or nervous, it had nothing to do with him.
What the woman wants and will do, is entirely a path she has chosen herself, and Erick will never be willing to interfere with affairs, mindsets, and other things, and the behavior of others.
However, Erick's indifference this time made Navya a little relieved, because she did not want a nervous face, and also her face that was holding back laughter was seen by the man.
"Emc ... If so, you have not answered my question before, now let's answer dong! Why do you not like mathematics? What makes you feel like you don't need math?" navya repeated the question he asked Erick.
Without waiting any longer, Erick immediately replied to two questions from Navya, "If I was good at math, my parents would definitely force me to make their company!" With a clear voice, but still quietly, Erick replied to Navya's question quickly.
"Himself knows, right? About what my goals are," Erick continued.
Slowly Navya who looked at the ceiling, lowered her gaze, then turned to the right, making herself now able to see the man whose eyes continued to focus on seeing the child playing basketball.
"Why do you want to be the strongest person in the world?" navya asks after being confused about the reason Erick chose such an ideal.
"Being the strongest man in the world? What's that supposed?" This sentence continues to echo in the heart and mind of the Angel Girl.
This time, Erick finally followed in Navya's footsteps, shifting his gaze from the thing that had kept his eyes busy since then, to the woman who was his current interlocutor.
When Erick's eyes accidentally met Navya's eyes, he looked into them with a very serious look. "If I become very strong, then I can make everyone obey, including making my parents obedient to care for me, don't you think?"
Navya fell silent, completely clueless as to what the man before her had just said. The Angel Girl raised one of her eyebrows, "Making your parents obedient to care about you?" he looked at it with a face that looked very confused.
"Ehh?!" Erick blinked his eyes in large numbers, his serious face now turned confused as well. "What did I just say?" he murmured in the heart.
After realizing what he said a while ago, Erick became misbehaved, he continued to ruffle his hair because he did not understand himself.
Seeing Erick's increasingly strange behavior, Navya finally tried to call the name of the Sky Bruiser gang Leader.
"Erick?" call Navya in a quiet voice, but there's no reply. "Erick?" call Navya again, and still in a quiet voice, there is also still no response from the man who keeps ruffling his own hair.
"Erick!" The third time, Navya called Erick's name with enough shouting.
It made the man whose consciousness was everywhere, now return to the problems that were before him.
"What's wrong?" navya asked with a worried look. "There's nothing!" erick responded quickly while turning his face away from Navya.
Erick got up from his seat, then stood his back to Navya, the woman who was still sitting facing Erick.
"It looks like our discussion has gone too deep, it's a personal matter for my family!" erick shouted with a cold tone.
When you hear the word "Personal problems of the family." Navya no longer dared to speak, because anyone would definitely get angry, and did not like it if his family's personal problems were in the sidelines by outsiders.
"Pardon me!" Navya who felt guilty for being the mastermind of their conversation, apologized softly.
"No need to apologize, I'm not wrong. I'm going to class first!" erick replied quickly and still with a cold tone of speech.
Feeling that there was nothing more to talk about, Erick actually stepped in to leave the audience seat. Leaving Navya who was still silent.
