64. Another Attack

Aaron glanced at Mayra, staring at the beautiful face in silence, Mayra was also looking at her with a look full of tension, inexplicably Mayra felt this place was not an ordinary house.

"What is this..? where's husband..? I want to see him..!"

Shouted Mayra as she continued running frantically following the footsteps of Aaron who was holding his hand tightly.

Aaron pulled out his phone and contacted his subordinates.

"Done everything..! Dirga is still down..!!"

His orders while taking out the weapon from behind the suit and cocked it with a single blow.

Mayra shook to see that, the trauma of the assault incident the other day regained control of her.

"Sir..we're going where..? take me to my husband..! I'm afraid something happened to her..!!"

Mayra said in a half-running state following where Aaron was.

Aaron just kept quiet and kept on being alert. They reached the end of the hall and finally came out through a small door in the back of the house.

He moved back to pull Mayra's hand, but Mayra flinching she remained seated. His body was weak and his vision also began to blur.

Seeing that, Aaron seemed to hesitate for a while, but then with a quick movement he lifted Mayra's body into his lap. Placing Mayra's head over her shoulder and her left hand against Mayra's knee.

Like a tiger, Aaron ran fast through the dense forest away from the area of the house that had been destroyed. Not long after he reached the end of the road, there was a car waiting for him.

Aaron sat Mayra in the back seat carefully. Mayra was unconscious at this time.

Shouted Dirga wrathfully. Then he passed away from the room because he wanted to immediately find Mayra's whereabouts.

Aaron and his men have been able to take out all the intruders. They were seen clearing the bodies of the attackers in quick motion before Mayra regained consciousness.

Aaron gets back in the car, he tries to massage a special point on Mayra's left fingertip to recover his consciousness.

And not long after Mayra opened her eyes slowly. Aaron looked back expressionlessly. But he was really worried about this woman in front of him. They looked a long time, Mayra massaged her forehead which still felt a little dizzy.

"Sir..we are where..? I want to meet my husband ! please take me to him..!"

Lirih Mayra as she got up from the back of the car seat and looked out the window.

"Is everything safe.? where's husband.? She's okay, right..?!"

Mayra asked again a little panicked considering the whereabouts of Dirga who was still inside the glassy house. Aaron just fell silent without reacting. Mayra stared at Aaron who did not respond at all. Not long Aaron out of the car followed Mayra who still looks limp.

Aaron said as he picked up the phone from Dirga.

Then he stood back up against the body of the car.

"Is he okay, sir..?"

Mayra asked as she looked at Aaron who only glanced at her at a glance. Mayra complained about Aaron's strange reaction. Why does it seem like he's so anti to talk to her.

"I'm sorry I talk too much. I know you don't want to talk to me..!"

Mayra said as she sat back in the car, leaning her head still feeling very dizzy.

Suddenly Aaron has given a

bottle of mineral water on him. Mayra glanced at him and took the bottle with an annoyed look on Aaron.

Aaron turned his face the other way, there was a faint barely visible smile engraved on the corner of his lips.

"I won't say thank you this time.! You won't respond to it either.!"

Mayra said a little sniffling while then began to gulp her drinking water.

Aaron's face looked different, the thin smile at the corner of his lips re-engraved. Then he walked back and forth in front of the car.

Mayra glanced at him with an annoyed look but she was still curious to ask the strange man again.

"Sir.Can I go find my husband there.?"

Mayra asked doubtfully. Aaron stopped his pacing steps and quickly turned to look at Mayra's face.

Seen Mayra ciut with a resigned face he returned to lay his head then closed his eyes.

Aaron turned his face back, why is this woman even acting so adorable in front of him ? making Aaron's heart seem to want to jump out at this moment. Really makes Aaron like a lost man at the moment.
