DEATH WARRANT

DEATH WARRANT
DUEL

The next morning, I arrived at the office. The commander asked me to meet him at exactly 08:00 in his room. When I opened the door he was sitting with a young man. He wears a black jacket. I've never seen him at all.

"Oh, you've come, '" the commander replied upon realizing my arrival. "Then just go straight to the ordinary room. I still have a little business."

The man along with the commander smiled amiably at me.

"Good commander." They resumed the conversation after I left them.

Riko's figure is seen waiting behind the table as soon as I enter. "Morning!" Sweepings.

"Oh, you're early this morning" I smiled and sat next to him. "Unusually…"

"really? Aren't you the one who usually comes too fast," his lips smiled faintly after saying it.

"Huh. I thought you would answer like that" my face turned serious. "How's Hana doing?"

"So far, she's been fine. There's nothing to worry about, at least because in the hell he didn't write his death."

"Then, how's the paper check? Is appropriate?"

"Yes, as Nanda said. The liquid in the hell record turned out to be Hana's saliva. Whaddya think? Isn't that impossible!"

"So, I feel that way, too. Do they know exactly when Hana's spit was taken?"

"They haven't been able to confirm it, they were guessing about five or six days ago. They still need time to make sure that spit is from where." Riko. "Hey Misya, imagine. If only Jara could use other than blood as her ritual. Doesn't that mean we can also be his victims?"

"Huhuh. But, why did he use blood on his previous victims. Including, Andi! Wouldn't it be easier if he did the same to her. In fact, he still wears Andi's blood," Riko's face was so serious about listening.

"So, you think he's up to something, don't you?"

"Yes, chances are." My voice stopped because the door was open. The commander entered this time along with his assistant who was carrying a square envelope in his hand.

"Okay, please sit down!" His orders after we stood up saluted. "I appreciate your performance the past few days. One problem has finally been solved" he said.

My forehead immediately shriveled to hear his words. One problem solved? Whatdoes thatmean? Did they make sure the body was Amelia's. No way! That's too fast. I tried to hold back the voice until he gave the order to speak. Likewise with Riko, he also seemed to want to say something.

"She, I want to hear the investigative report you did yesterday?" The commander asked his assistant to take note of the things that were important to be a report to the superior.

I stood up and explained everything. It started with how I was able to find out Amelia's location until my meeting with Jara. Everything was. Except one. The whereabouts of Sergeant Radit. I decided to hide her whereabouts at least until I made sure that Nanda was not cursed by Jara. His behavior at the time was not as usual. Something must have happened to him.

The commander nodded confidently after hearing my report. "Alright, I'll report the results to the superiors. This is how Amelia Earhart's case is about to be finished" the commander saw the clock clinging to her hand. "Ten hours later I will attend an event made by journalists. And after that the case will be closed."

Closed down!

"Sir!" I raised my hand. I feel like there's something bad about this meeting. It seems he wants to close today.

"What's wrong?" Legally.

"Is the body really Amelia's? Has the forensics team confirmed it?"

"Why not wait, sir? Isn't that better!" I cut the sentence.

"The agency is asking that this matter be decided immediately…"

"I don't know what you're talking about with that company. But sir, this is about civil society. Wouldn't it be better to wait for the results to come out first." I cut his sentence back.

"I'm telling you, it's been a decision from the boss. What do you think I should do?"

"Sir, aren't they thinking about her family's feelings?"

"His family? Amelia Earhart did not admit that she had a family. He claims to live alone without family."

"But, in fact he has a brother sir! They know that too…"

"She, we don't speak the law in the village. The company has no feelings. They only decide according to the written contract....Looks like you haven't read the contract she agreed to? The contract is written that the company will be free to decide unilaterally if something happens that will harm the company during the contract period is still running. Illness, social problems including death. You know what that means? As long as they feel a loss with what happened to Amelia Earhart they will be free to decide anything as long as it can reduce the losses they get. They decided that Amelia Earhart didn't kill herself."

"What's? Isn't that the same."

"You think for yourself what's the difference? One thing you need to remember! They are businessmen, not community leaders. It's their decision. We're just doing it according to the procedure."

I know what that means. The company did not want to get involved more deeply with the law. Of course they will feel greater losses if employees are found killed. It is not just a matter of time that is wasted. Also, good name. And that can all have an impact on the company if this problem drags on not being resolved. Their decision was right, even if I didn't accept it. It would have been easier if Amelia Earhart had committed suicide. They just need a story for the evidence. There could be such a contract.

"Sir..., can I ask you a question?" Tapping Riko in the middle of tension. The commander and I looked at him at the same time. "What about Hana? I heard he was going to be put away.. What does that mean?"

"She, it's Nanda's for you!" The commander hinted at his assistant handing over a square brown envelope attached to his hand. I took it and put it down no matter.

"What's wrong? You still don't accept?" It seems the commander was aware when he saw my reaction.

I just kept staring at her sharp eyes.

"All right, about Hana. True, he will be released as long as Jara's case remains unresolved. Of course, it's for his safety." The commander looked at me who didn't care what he said, "Because Amelia Earhart's case will be closed. You're Riko, help Misya solve her problem."

"I sir? Helping her? Isn't my mission over.. Why should I also reveal Jara?" Riko looked surprised and did not accept the commander's decision. However, he still could not refuse it.

"Nanda is currently being summoned back to his division. Looks like he's going out of the country. I don't know much about it. He probably wrote the answer in the envelope! I haven't checked it." The commander tried to lure me.

"Commander, what's your plan? Are you going to say that Amelia killed herself? What about the evidence?" my many.

He smiled because he felt the bait had been drawn. "Yes, I have prepared everything. Did you see that guy in the room? Has he prepared it? Actually I hope you will prepare it.. I know for sure you will reject it, right?"

"Yes, definitely the commander." I said firmly and quickly.

"If you really want to know the plan. Just look at the media later." He smiled back. "All right, just get here today's meeting. As I said earlier.Riko, help Missya!"

"Alright sir." he replied lethargicly.

"Is there anything you want to ask?" I just kept quiet, didn't care. "All right, so and thank you," he closed and then left with his assistant.
