Logan's emotions were always unstable when he mentioned Aerin.
"Low woman. Sok manner, he did not know what behind him a lot of people who scorned him, huh!" logan snorted loudly.
Anson's forehead wrinkled. He was surprised the harsh words could come out of Logan's mouth. So anyone hates Aerin more than he does?
"And you, why are you so interested in talking about women?" ask Logan. Because of his emotions thinking about Aerin, he forgot that this was the first time Anson asked about her name as a woman.
"Don't tell me you're interested in that woman's fake beauty?" anson's forehead was faintly wrinkled.
"Fake?" reworked. He saw Logan nod. Anson doesn't understand what false beauty means to Logan.
"Many female doctors gossip that her beautiful face is the result of surgery. He said valak used to be even better to see than him."
Anson.
There are so many people who hate you.
As someone who had known Aerin for a long time, Anson clearly knew that the woman was indeed a natural beauty. Her childhood photos are still in her home. Anson remembers Kyle, Aerin's older brother once gave her a small photo of the girl. He even wondered why he had not thrown away the photo until now.
Aerin was already a natural beauty from childhood, only her heart alone might not be as beautiful as her face. Oh yes, it seems that the curse on the girl did not work either. Aerin looks happy even easy to throw people who like it, like the story of Logan.
"Have it, don't talk about that insignificant woman anymore. Tell me why you're here?" logan diverted the conversation.
"I want you to accompany me around. I'm not familiar with the neighborhood yet." Anson replied staring at the man. Logan glanced at his watch for a moment then got up from the chair.
"Come on. My empty time is only an hour." he said. Anson stood up.
After touring, Anson was quite amazed because he felt his father was not responsible for providing the best facilities at this hospital. How not? The hospital has sixteen luxurious rooms equipped with private elevators and valet services for VVIP patients. In fact, the hospital also offers swimming pool, spa, and gym facilities for the patient's family.
Anson was impressed, his father was really good at using money. The hospital garden also looks so beautiful and comfortable. This hospital does spoil its patients, especially those who have money of course.
On the sidelines enjoying the beautiful garden scenery, Anson looked at Logan who walked past him at a rapid pace. He also saw Aerin standing in the middle of the park joking with a small boy in a wheelchair. Anson came closer to them.
Aerin was surprised not to play because suddenly the fruit in his hand floated into the air. As he quickly picked up the fruit before it actually fell to the floor, his body staggered to the point of almost falling down as well.
Aerin felt that something was pulling on her waist, holding her back so as not to fall. He raised his face to look at the person who was holding him now and was stunned for a moment, realizing who it was.
Anson ...
Geez, why would such a shameful incident happen anyway. Moreover, he was not strong with Anson's cold gaze. An awkwardness only felt by himself, perhaps?
Aerin cleared his throat slowly and released Anson's still loyal hand on his waist. His eyes turned to Logan. The man gave orders to a nearby nurse to take Safa back to the patient's room. Logan then looked at Aerin.
"How many times do I have to remind you, you don't understand human language?!"
Aerin looked at the man panted.
Aerin knew Logan was only looking for his mistake. Logan smiled cynically.
"Safa is my patient, I have the right to forbid you from doing anything you want to him. The meal is set, remember!" the man gave a warning with a sharp tone and then went from there following the nurse who brought Safa, he was too lazy to face Aerin.
Aerin clucked resentfully at the departure of the arrogant, powerful man. It has been almost six months since he and Dean, Logan's cousin, broke up, but the man is still vengeful. He wondered how Dean had influenced Logan until he hated him so much like this. When he was about to turn away, Aerin's eyes again crossed with Anson.
It turns out that guy hasn't left. Is he still here? Aerin was completely unaware that Anson was still standing nearby. If the two of them are like this, he feels even more awkward. The girl displayed her bright smile.
"You're still here?" he tried to look as usual as possible. Forget the past, face the present. They are both adults. The man always looked at him coldly and unfriendly. From the past it has been so, so there is nothing different according to Aerin. He's already ordinary.
Anson stared at Aerin.
"So, how many men have you dumped all this time?" tone flat. Aerin frowned confusedly. He was trying to understand Anson's words. Ah, maybe Logan told me. Or Anson heard the gossip from the doctors and nurses who did not have the job.
In this hospital, Aerin's good name is already tarnished. He knew they were always gossiping about him being so sloppy and always changing girlfriends. I don't know where the story went and became crowded among the hospital staff.
In his entire life, he had only one girlfriend and only dated Dean once. Whether or not it's a dumping problem, Dean himself knows why they broke up. Aerin does not want to discuss it, it is past and will only make him hurt.
"It turns out you've never changed, even worse than you used to be." Anson muttered again with a condescending look.
Aerin. He was immune to the hurtful words of the man. Either the sentence what else he will throw after this, just let the man insult him as he pleases. He was too tired to argue like before. He who used to be different now.
"It looks like you're so happy with your life right now. Suddenly I felt sorry for why my curse didn't really happen" Anson added.
Jamb.
Aerin's breath was choked. The words made his heart feel sad. He smiled at Anson and tried to look fine.
"So you remember what happened? You still hate me? Come on, Anson, we were too young. Don't keep it in your heart. Besides, you also broke the expensive stuff I gave you back, so we're even, aren't we?"
aerin's words just slid from his mouth. He did not realize even bring up the incident first again.
Anson gritted his teeth with tightly clenched hands, staring fixedly at Aerin.
"Say once more," the man murmured in a low tone. His piercingly sharp gaze made Aerin instantly squeak. He held his breath as Anson leaned over his face.
"Never equate my valuables with that useless thing of yours." the man continued his words coldly and then turned around.
This time Aerin breathed a sigh of relief. He cursed himself for accidentally provoking the man's anger again. Who told the man to remind him of the terrible curse.
Aerin then laughed wryly, Anson alone did not know that the curse used to be like a nightmare for him, because all that really happened in his life. Aerin's the one who's good at covering it up.
She prefers to be rumored as a lazy woman who likes to change girlfriends and dump them rather than being looked at with pity by them. He did not want anyone to feel sorry for his life. He doesn't like that. Pretending to have no self-esteem is much more acceptable.
