CONFESSION STONED
74. Dul's Suffering

"Om Baranya hasn't been here, still busy. But om Bara there's something for you. Follow Om to the mini market opposite yuk," invite Dona to Dul who finished the magrib back into the Polsek page to look for Bara.

"Om Bara don't want to see me again?" tanya Dul whose arm was being held by Dona crossed the road to the minimarket.

"You know. Message you, he said patiently. Later om Bara must come to meet you. Now om Bara is still busy," said Dona while pushing the glass door minimarket.

Although his face was disappointed when he heard that Bara had not been able to meet him, Dul looked carefree when Dona thrust him a red basket and pointed to the hallway where he displayed various snacks.

In my heart, Dul actually did not ask Bara for that. He did not question about the various snacks that the man always gave to him. Dul just wants to know why Bara and his mother were never seen together again.

Dul admires Bara's figure. He who since childhood away from the affection of a father, has found the warmth of the figure he seeks in Bara. He was not willing if he had to separate from Bara when he only knew and was close for a moment with the handsome man.

“That's enough for a week's worth of snacks, right? Let's take you home yes,” take Dona back to hold Dul's arm across the road.

“Whose are you? Money from where?” hardik a man when Dona has been in front of an alley with Dul.

Fredy just got off a minibus and went straight to his son.

“I'm his friend Dul. Just buy snacks aja kok Mas,” said Dona a little horrified by the appearance of Fredy who urakan.

The man was wearing jeans and a black white strip shirt with two buttons open. At his feet were wrapped in a pair of leather shoes. Fredy's 32. But his face looked older because of the drugs that are routinely consumed like daily staple food.

Since long ago he was eyeing Dijah who was still a teenager. Fredy who was 27 years old every day observed Dijah when he went and went home from school across the stalls where Mr. Dijah used to spend his age.

Checking father Colored with debt money titled ‘use it first, later it can be replaced’ is Fredy mode ensnare the family.

“You're begging huh? You begging people? Is it your mother who seems to be able to invite you to eat it, do not ngasi you snack?” fredy shouted in front of Dona.

“No, Dul did not ask. I want to buy it. Crib from my friend also,” said Dona was increasingly frightened to see Fredy's face that had been flushed with anger.

“Throw it out!!” scream Fredy.

“No way! It's from om Bara. Om Bara who is kasi,” said Dul hugging his package.

“Bara??? Throw that away now!” fredy yelled, snatching all the parcels from Dul and dumping them on the road.

“Mas can't do that!” sergeant Dona.

“Go to you now! I'll peck your neck here later. Are you ready Bara?” Fredy had taken a step closer to Dona.

Dona retreated and raised both of her hands in front of her chest as if trying to calm Fredy down. “Oke—oke, sorry.” Dona doesn't want to plunge herself into problems she doesn't understand.

“Come home! Where's mommy? Have you been asked to ask her for the same? Huh?”?

PLAKK!!

Fredy hit Dul on the head.

“Sick Sir.!” raung Dul held his head. “No. Mom never told me that. It was snacks from om Bara..” raung Dul again.

“Bara keep—Bara keep!! Your mother whoring the same man you don't understand?? What do you think you are the same guy? What?” Fredy pulls Dul's ear along the way they enter the house of the colonized parents.

“Om Bara good to mom... Good for me too. This is sick sir... Lepasin..” whining Dul holding his ear. His crying voice boomed along the alley.

“Mba... Mbah...” call Dul from the front door.

“Why is he crying?” ask Mr. Colored to Fredy.

“Kasi tau Sejah, do not teach his son to beg the man. I'll kill all those coals. Let the Colonized know who I am.”

“You can't believe it. She's a kid know what?” sergeant Gadjah pulled Dul's hand into the house.

“Om Bara is good, she just pranks me," cried Dul from the front door.

PLAKK!!

“Ow Sir!! It hurts! Be ill... Mothers... Ibuuu... Sakiii... Ibuuuu...” Dul runs into the house and drops himself on a thin mattress in front of the television. The boy covered his face with a pillow. The mouth that had just been slapped by his father felt throbbing. His tongue tasted the saltiness from his lips.

“What is this?!” yelled mom Sejah out of the room and walked slowly.

“Bara again! Call him again use your mouth!” Fredy shouted from outside the door.

“Kalo came just to check your son just mending do not need to come!” said Mr. Dijah. “Can't love your family with your money, at least don't make it suffer.” Mr. Dijah went into the house and closed the door. He was also angry to see Dul coming home with snot and tears that had fused to wet his face.

“You are a wise parent huh?” fredy shouted from outside. “Toooooo!” fredy screams before leaving the Colonized house.

“I want mom... Call mom...” raung Dul on mbah lanang.

Mr. Dijah took a hand-held cell phone located near the television and then dialed the phone number.

A while waiting, Dijah answered the call.

“You came here, the Dul was beaten by his father. Mouth's bleeding. He cried asking you to come,” said Mr. Disjah on the phone.

The police didn't say much. The woman's voice was just heard saying, “Dog!!” before hanging up.

After receiving a call from his father, Dijah who had just returned home to look for Mbok Jum, returned to wearing his bag.

Sejah hit the crate of drinks that were used as a table to make rice cookers on it fall and the contents scattered on the floor.

“How much does my father owe so I can't live quietly?” The colonized shed tears and rummaged his closet in search of the cloth wallet where he kept the money.

“I pay all. I can pay for everything. Basic insolent man..” hiss Sejah wiped the tears that came down incessantly.

Sejah pulled the cloth wallet from between piles of clothes and unzipped the zipper. For a moment he stared at the wallet. The savings aren't that much. That's too much. He always memorized the amount of every penny he collected. The money in the wallet is too much.

The tears are getting unstoppable. With a shaky body he began to calculate the amount of money he would use to pay the rest of his father's debt to Fredy.

On the sidelines of his cries, Sejah recalled how Bara put the money all this time.

“Basic of this man... I have to how to you..” isak Sejah crouching holding a handful of money that feels very much.
