“Varl, Mr Varl, are you okay?!” elise asked Varl who was currently lying with a body that was almost covered with a red magic aura mixed in black. Varl tried to get up even though it felt very weak.

Varl and Elise are now at the bottom of the palace, in a special room that no other race has ever entered except Charlotte herself. The room contained nothing but a few torches and black crystals connected to the palace body.

The crystal was floating in the center of the magic circle, but it was also covered in a ropes-like blackish-red aura, connecting the crystal with Charlotte's palace.

“Argh, damn you Crystals of Eternity!” Varl got up despite having to fight the pain after getting attacked several times.

Mae appeared with her grin and bright red eyes. He walked leisurely closer to the raging Crystal of Immortality.

As if happy, the crystal saluted with its magic aura that greeted Mae's arrival.

While Varl and Elise are wide open not playing.

“M-Mae?! A-what....what are you doing here?!” Varl was completely dumbfounded over Mae's presence, moreover the girl seemed familiar with the black magic aura around her.

Mae grinned with satisfaction. The bright red bead is challenging. “During this time, you guys always do things in vain.” Mae chuckled, she stood right beside the Eternity Crystal.
