...Sometimes what we plan is inversely proportional to God's plan. Full of mystery but that is the life of the world. ...
...~Abraham Barraq...
...****************...
A man is seen subduing his body repeatedly with both hands fused in front of his chest. The man apologized for his accident.
"I accidentally broke it, sir. I will fix it again until I can" said the young man with his hands drenched in oil.
"no need. This car is my daughter's favorite. Once fixed it is expensive and your money will not be enough to replace it!" The taps of a woman with an angry face who was standing next to a well-dressed middle-aged man. "If you can't fix it, don't be pretentious! Can you replace this car with a new one!"
Abraham Barraq Alkahfi, the man with the handsome face was only able to look down from earlier. He admitted that all this happened because of his own ignorance.
"What should I do, sir?"
"Replace my daughter's car!" The female exclaimed in luxurious clothes and her sharp eyes were so angry.
"Honey." Persuade the middle-aged man who had been silent since.
"Get in the car. Let me talk to him first," said the middle-aged man in his delicate tone.
"But, Pa. She… "
"I'll finish it all!" He said in a firm voice that made the woman unable to pucker anymore.
"Awas, you poor man! You have to replace it!" Spraying the woman before she left left behind two men of different ages.
"What's your name?"
"Abraham, sir," Sahut Abra quickly.
"Your mistake is fatal. Bugatti La Voiture Noire costs 255.9 billion, repairing its body alone is unlikely to be just a few million. Are you willing to replace it?"
Abraham swallowed his mouth violently. Actually he himself also knows if the car repaired is the second most expensive car in the world. Cars with a really exorbitant price and can only be purchased by the upper class.
"I'm sure you can't. Therefore I have another offer for you to make up for this mistake of yours" he said, which made Abraham clueless.
"What offer, sir?"
"Marry my daughter and all this trouble I'll take for granted!"
"What!" Abraham looked up.
His eyes were in disbelief. He looked at the middle-aged man in front of him with great shock. The man she had met for the first time this time, asked to marry her daughter just because of an accident.
Crazy thing in his whole life he's ever felt!
"Sorry, Sir. I can't take it!"
"If you can't, then change my daughter's car! I'll give you a week to replace it!" Excited the man with his firm voice and did not accept rejection. "If you can't, then this workshop and your name I'm virulent until it's all destroyed!"
Abraham's heart was beating faster. This can't happen. This workshop was the only asset he had. This workshop was one where he lived and made a living for almost a year.
"No, Master! Please!"
"Think about it! My offer is very easy, Young man! You change everything by marrying my daughter or changing my daughter's car. If you can't, your workshop will be closed forcibly!" Said the man then pat Abraham on the shoulder who looked confused.
"This is my business card! For three days I gave it time to think. If you get the answer, call me here!"
After saying that. The middle-aged man in neat clothes immediately left Abraham still idly glued with a hand holding a business card left for him.
The luxury car began to leave the courtyard of his workshop. His head lowered and looked at the paper given to him.
"Akmal Atharrayhan, Rayhan Group's company," Abraham spelled with a sigh as he was no stranger to the company's name.
...****************...
For three days Abraham could not sleep. He was really struck by heavy thoughts. The crazy offer given by Mr. Akmal was able to make him a half-zombie human now. His eye bags blackened from lack of sleep and his body was a little thin because he did not eat well.
Breath sounds repeatedly until the sound of a phone call makes him spontaneously sit upright.
"Hello?" Abraham's voice as the call began to connect.
"How are you, brother?"
"Ommy?" Abraham was surprised.
"Yes. It's me!"
"By buying a new number again!" Sahut Omri with in the accompaniment of the ruckus across there.
Abraham smiled. Omri, his younger brother was indeed the closest to him.
"Where are you, brother? Don't you miss Mom and Dad?"
Abraham mute. The discussion of parents always makes his longing even more so.
"You've been looking for yourself for a year. Don't you want to go home?"
"It's not yet time, Omri!" Abraham spoke briefly.
"Mother is always looking for you, Brother" said Omri in a soft voice indicating he was about to cry.
"Wait for your successful business then Brother will go home!"
"But when?"
"Quickly!"
After answering that. Abraham finally put his call to death. He stared at a small frame on the nightstand near his bed and picked it up.
"I couldn't have ruined my dreams since I was a kid. This workshop is my dream and I have to defend it!"
He quickly grabbed the phone that had been on the bed since. He immediately looked for a phone number that three days ago he had entered into his cell phone contact.
Without wasting any time he quickly pressed the call and brought the flat object closer to his ear.
"I'm Abraham wants to meet you, Mr Akmal!"
This is where Abraham began. A life that was never in his plans. He stood in front of a large building of a famous company.
With definite footsteps, he began to step into the large building and towards the receptionist.
"Excuse me, can I meet Mr Akmal?" Abraham said politely.
Abraham's words made the two women behind the table look at him doubtfully. He saw the appearance of Abraham who was very simple just wearing sandals and trousers and plain t-shirts to wrap his sturdy body.
"Have you made a promise?"
Abraham did not answer. A voice made him look.
"Sir Abraham Barraq Alkahfi?" Said a well-dressed man approaching Abra politely.
"Yes. That's me!"
"Let's follow me. Mr. Akmal is already waiting for your arrival."
Finally Abraham began to step behind the man who seemed to be the same age distance as him. The two began to enter the elevator to go to the floor where the room of the man he was about to meet was.
"Please enter! Mr. Akmal is inside" said the man as he opened the door for him.
"Thank you."
Abraham began to step in. The first thing he felt was the cold AC piercing his skin. His head twisted trying to see what was inside this room.
"Have you got the right answer?" Mr. Akmal said without delaying anything.
He turned his chair around to look at Abraham standing in front of his desk. His face was bright when he saw Abraham coming to his office.
"Already, sir," replied Abraham no less firmly.
"I hope your answer doesn't disappoint me, Abra," said Mr. Akmal in a heavy voice.
Abraham seemed to take his breath so deeply. He can't let it all go awry. The dream he had started from the bottom should not be shattered so easily.
"I'm accepting your offer."
"So…?"
"Yes. I'm agreeing to marry your daughter, Master!"
